Daniel 11:35. "AND SOME OF THEM OF UNDERSTANDING SHALL FALL, TO TRY THEM, AND TO PURGE, AND TO MAKE THEM WHITE, EVEN TO THE TIME OF THE END: BECAUSE IT IS YET FOR A TIME APPOINTED". Verse 35 is part in World War I, then looks over its shoulder as it were,- towards World War II. Because this prophetic verse establishes that these 2 wars, are but a continuation of the same war, fought as 2 battles, with a few "DAYS" (or years) in between them. The nations of World War I, are only licking their wounds, and picking up the pieces which maintained that peace. The time zones in verse 35 are from 1918- 19 to 1939-45 AD. The words which link these words together are "TIME OF THE END"- and "A TIME APPOINTED".

Let us take the first sentence of verse 35 and unravel it. Verse 35:- "AND SOME OF THEM OF UNDERSTANDING SHALL FALL, TO TRY THEM, AND TO PURGE, AND TO MAKE THEM WHITE, EVEN TO THE TIME OF THE END". "AND" now connects the previous verse and verse 35. The verses together introducing another clause.

"SOME"- means certain individuals not definitely known, it's a distinction from others.

"OF"- is relating to, an opposition identity, it is a word of cause or motive. "THEM"- those persons.

"OF UNDERSTANDING"- or relating to those who had the use of intellectual faculties of ruling classes.

"SHALL"- this word is of future tense under control.

"FALL"- is to drop down and die, or be ruined.

"TO"- is a word of design, aim, or destination.

"TRY"- is to purify or refine, to put through a test of experience.

"THEM"- those persons.

"AND TO PURGE"- is to make clean and pure, to clear from guilt or moral defilement.

"AND TO MAKE"- or bring about and produce an effect, to form and fashion, or to force and compel.

"WHITE"- being the colour of snow, not tinged, or in a favourable manner.

"EVEN"- this is having a surface without inequalities, it is fair, just, it is having accounts balanced owing nothing on either side.

"TO THE"- or aim, is to specify how much.

"TIME"- it is a measure of duration, whether past, present, or future, it's a proper occasion of an age, an era, the present life.

"THE END"- is the extreme point of a line drawn, the final state or condition, it is a point beyond no progress can be made, a conclusive event in life.

Here we see God has taken note of other types of "THESE PERSONS OF UNDERSTANDING" in the Isles, which individuals are definitely known. They need however to be refined through a test of experience, to produce the required effect to achieve favour in the eyes of God. These achievements happen in this present era, until the final state of these trials is reached at the close of man's history. Verse 35, first of all recaps as it were,- all the verses of the Great War gone before, namely, verses 32,33,34. It began with the class structure of the ruling classes of "THOSE OF UNDERSTANDING", and now that story ends with the same ruling classes "OF UNDERSTANDING", and what became of "SOME OF THEM". Verse 32 spelled out the scorn it had for the debauched, autocratic rulers, and nobility of its times. The wickedness and vanities of mind and body that were all too prevalent amongst THEM. In verse 33 it spelled out what the "ruling classes of UNDERSTANDING" had done, they "INSTRUCTED" manpower into "Mobilisation" towards this Great War of World War I. Daniel now tells in verse 35, what befell "SOME" of the ruling classes of "UNDERSTANDING", who were not caught up in the wickedness of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It is, as if these new words are to soften the blow that the previous criticism had been metered out to one and all. You will note reader that verse 35 only says, -"SOME OF THEM"- and not "all" of them; These people here of the upper classes are those of "UNDERSTANDING" who were to be tried in the fires, of World War I, etc: For God has ordained it to be so, because, in THEM were some of the princes of the various tribes, and SOME of the "chosen" children also, especially as the responsibility for the tribes rested with the princes of Ephraim and Manasseh, under Joseph's banner.

We have learned how the ruling classes of UNDERSTANDING had to reorganise itself, because of the destruction and upheaval of the people's social order. When the Great War had opened the door to change within that social order. The arrogant upper classes were shattered during and after World War I. They had begun to die in the mud of the trenches, they were to suffer in mind and body, just as the middle and lower classes had done. The ranks of officers and persons in authority or "UNDERSTANDING" were once all from the upper classes, answering the call for King and country as their positions obliged them to do. Many of the officers out of the great houses of Britain were killed, or ruined in health in the Great War, and so began to happen that which was then unheard of before these times. Men from the lower classes were also being recruited as officers, or as men of the governing body of "UNDERSTANDING" and they began to command and lead those of their fellow countrymen. The whole structure of the people's conventions was being changed, and the living death that most men suffered in those terrible trenches of mud, rats, and stench of dead bodies of that Great War had touched high and low birth.

We must never forget reader, that all the while these verses of Daniel's speak of all the "covenanted people" of the "House of Israel". Hence this further lament over some of the dead and wounded nobles -or-ruling classes of "UNDERSTANDING". Let us go back to verse 35.

"AND SOME OF THEM OF UNDERSTANDING SHALL FALL TO TRY THEM, AND TO PURGE, AND TO MAKE WHITE".

Let us read some verses from the Bible that put the words "TRY"- "PURGE" and "MAKE WHITE", into context. The first word "Try"- is to refine and make a trial of, to be put through the test of experience, which the Great War did to most all these people. "PURGE" -is to cleanse and make pure; to clear of guilt or moral defilement, it is a purifying medicine to take out of the body that which ails one. In the early twentieth century when the Great War took place, the conscience, which perceives right from wrong towards the lowly man, was not in some of the haughty noble's make-up. The ruling classes were defiled by their own vanities, and that situation had to begin to break down.

The word "WHITE" from verse 35, means- being the hue in colour of pure snow, not tinged, it is pure unsullied in a favourable manner. There are many stories from the "Great War" of men giving their own lives as sacrifice for a friend in need in times of peril. From this act alone, were those "SOME MADE WHITE" in the eyes of God- spoken of by Daniel, had been made to come to pass.

Let us cross check from other verses of the "PURGING" of the people of British Israel. John 15:1-2. "I AM THE TRUE VINE (Jesus) AND MY FATHER IS THE HUSBANDMAN" (a Person of good management).
Verse 2:- "EVERY BRANCH IN ME THAT BEARETH NOT FRUIT HE TAKETH AWAY; AND EVERY BRANCH THAT BEARETH FRUIT HE "PURGETH"IT, THAT IT MAY BRING FORTH MORE FRUIT". The branches of the 12 Israelite tribes, which was Gods natural vine,- became a wild vine through loss of identity, paganism and disobedience. Over the centuries that wild vine had grown much, putting out branches which had wandered over every high hill here and there, into strange places doing its "own" pleasure. Travelling so very far from its roots that it lost sight of them completely. To stop this unruliness of growing tentacles, -God- the husbandman cut the branches back and called a halt to unruliness in the process of time in the vine's history. The branches were spoiled, they fell and were burned in their hundreds, just as they did in the Great Wars, God had to "PURGE" Israel's vine throughout secular history, because they would not call a halt to their own winding evil ways themselves. Within Israel's vine after the cutting and burning, came fresh air and daylight into those branches, to allow all the people to take stock of themselves and to breathe. It was "TIME" for the "first buds" of the "Called" or "chosen" of Christian Israel's vine to question themselves, and question age old vanities of pagan customs of ruinous conventions, and of bonds of lies that have held them captive for so long. From this huge multitudinous vine- now "PURGED" and pruned - will eventually come from these handful of branches, much special fruit beginning from World War I and on to the end of our secular historical times.

Though when one looks around in this sinful world, we humans wonder at times from which quarter will the children of the "first" buds of the called awake? Nevertheless, it is written that it will be so, and it is enough!

If one reads all of Isaiah chapters 51 and 52 one will see within those words the "awakening" of these fruitful boughs, called "Zion" out of the "House of Israel" and "Jerusalem" out of the "House of Judah". Now today, we can hear the good tidings of the Bible which is said of the fruit, "Thou art my people" and before them will go our Salvation for the true vine, The Lord our Christ! (Isaiah 51:5 - Isaiah 52:1). Let us read two other renderings for the meaning of the word "PURGE" in Ezekiel 24:13 -14. "IN THY FILTHINESS IS LEWDNESS: BECAUSE I HAVE PURGED THEE, AND THOU WAST NOT PURGED, THOU SHALT NOT BE PURGED FROM THY FILTHINESS ANY MORE, TILL I HAVE CAUSED MY FURY TO REST ON THEE".
Verse 14:- "I THE LORD HAVE SPOKEN IT: IT SHALL COME TO PASS, AND I WILL DO IT; I WILL NOT GO BACK, NEITHER WILL I SPARE, NEITHER WILL I REPENT; ACCORDING TO THY WAYS, AND ACCORDING TO THY DOINGS, SHALL THEY JUDGE THEE, SAITH THE LORD GOD". Indeed! God's fury has rested on the whole House of Israel within the British stock within many nations, and in the Jew of the House of Judah within 2 world wars. Because the filthiness is not "PURGED" enough, there is another holocaust to come in World War III. Because Israel -all the 12 tribes- still refuses to learn correct knowledge of themselves, they still cling to comfortable customs. The Lord God has "PURGED" many in high and low classes, but the "purging" will continue until we all acknowledge our filthiness and our guilt, from learning from our past secular and biblical histories.

Read also all of Ezekiel's chapter 24, called "the parable of the boiling pot". The second rendering of the word "PURGE" is in Hebrews 1:2,3. "HATH IN THESE LAST DAYS SPOKEN UNTO US BY HIS SON, WHOM HE HATH APPOINTED HEIR OF ALL THINGS, BY WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS";
Verse 3:- "WHO BEING THE BRIGHTNESS OF HIS GLORY, AND THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON, AND UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, WHEN HE HAD BY HIMSELF PURGED OUR SINS, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE MAJESTY ON HIGH":

Our fathers of old were given warnings to the nation of Israel, by the prophets, as is shown in Ezekiel, in Isaiah, and John. Telling of our "PURGING" in fury because our hearts are hard, and we fail to listen to our God. Then Jesus- who came out of the House of Judah, "PURGED" the floor of the new temple with His blood, so we might return to God with a new start in a new temple, Yet! Look around today, and through the dark centuries gone by. Are we so-called Christians entitled to that name whose sin has been "PURGED" through the Christ? The people have mostly gone their own way seeking all sorts of religions. Some teaching the people nonsense of many men's ideas with cults of the world, which have warped their thinking. So many religions and sects have sprang up for the gullible which seem easier to follow, because the thinking processes are stopped for one already. Some Christian temples have become social clubs, some peoples adorning themselves in strange robes to prove a point of being different. Some have found a new way of "dropping out" of our modern and adulterous generations, into sport, gambling, drugs, drink, etc. Therefore, within secular history for many, the "purging" of Gods fury written in Ezekiel 24 etc. continues.

Let us now read a few verses pertaining to the word "WHITE" from Daniel 11:35. Daniel himself refers again in secular history to the "purifying to whiteness" in Daniel 12:10. "MANY SHALL BE PURIFIED, AND MADE WHITE, AND TRIED, BUT THE WICKED SHALL DO WICKEDLY; AND NONE OF THE WICKED SHALL UNDERSTAND; BUT THE WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND". So, this verse 10 gives the "MANY" who shall be tried, and adding more weight to the word tried. The reasons why "SOME" -in verse 35 and not "MANY"- were PURGED from the Great War is, these are a "few" of God's children cut out specially in their generations. We read in Isaiah 1:18. "COME NOW, LET US REASON TOGETHER, SAITH THE LORD, THOUGH YOUR SINS BE AS SCARLET, THEY SHALL BE AS WHITE AS SNOW; THOUGH THEY BE RED LIKE CRIMSON, THEY SHALL BE AS WOOL". In this wonderful forgiving verse, we read that the dreadful shame of our sins of the past can be forgiven and forgotten, if we take the trouble to "reason" in obedience written within the Law which our God has been saying to us for centuries. In other words, we must exercise the mind much, within God's word, no other way can alter us except punishment!

The last book of the Bible, Revelation, gives us a marvellous picture in chapter 7, of the 144,000 people who have already been "purified" and made "WHITE" out of the 12 tribes of Israel. Also, of a great multitude of nations and peoples from out of the earth, who had been made "WHITE", who had learned to obey God and His Christ, after the terrible tribulation that will engulf the earth at the "end of time". So then, when Daniel 11:35 speaks of "SOME OF THEM" being "PURGED AND MADE WHITE", (or a number of individuals know to God alone). The punishing is not because God was, and is, hard on British stock throughout the world. Therefore, have allowed them to be slaughtered in World Wars I,II,III to prove a point. It was however to save their forth coming children, and themselves, from an everlasting death.

To kill the natural body of flesh and blood is only the first death and is but only a coat to take off for a little while. But, to kill the Spirit, (which is within us), this second personage is kept until the second death, this is another matter altogether! The second death is complete devastation when the spirit dies!

In Daniel 11:35 the "SOME OF THEM OF UNDERSTANDING" spoken of in this verse, returned from the Great War having learned a bitter lesson indeed. The old social order around them was quickly changing, their long-nurtured concept of their haughty positions in life were seen in another light. Some of those people for the first time had learned real brotherhood, mercy, and compassion for their lowly fellow man. The "PURGING" of the upper classes from their old ways went on however even though the Great War had ended. Thousands more people of high and low birth were to fall "PURGED" with the Spanish Influenza, which started at the tail end of the war in 1918.

Secular history tells of Spanish workers, who, suffering from the flu were dying after crossing the frontiers for help, consequently influenza had broken out in France. It then spread to the French, German, and Western armies, though had no far-reaching consequences in the field. The Influenza virus occurred in 3 attacking waves, the first wave came in May 1918, the second during Autumn 1918, and the third wave ending May 1919, the severity of which caused untold deaths mostly amongst the populace of Europe, which people were an easy target for a half starved, or a mourning populace. We come now to the latter part of Daniel 11:35, remembering that at the beginning of this chapter, I had said, "that the verse was now looking, as it were, from the First World War over its shoulder to the Second World War, and the "TIME OF THE END"; Verse 35. "EVEN TO THE TIME OF THE END: BECAUSE IT IS YET FOR A TIME APPOINTED".

The word "EVEN"- means having accounts balanced.

"TO"- is the aim, or the destination.

"THE"- by how much.

"TIME"- is the measure of duration.

"OF"- is a word of cause or motive.

"THE END"- is the final state or condition.

"Because"- means for the cause or reason next explained on this account.

"IT"- is a word sometimes used to introduce a sentence for a preceding clause.

"IS"- to be.

"YET"- in addition or over and above, at this or that time and before all is done.

"FOR"- is on account of, toward, by reason of, in recompense of, regarding, etc. "A" -an indefinite article.

"TIME APPOINTED"- or the measure of duration, established, ordained and allotted which is equipped with things necessary.

The latter part of verse 35 is telling us, that, all the tribes of the "House of Israel" especially. Who have acted contrary to Gods will as stated in the verses we have understood previously, dealing with this terrible War of 1914-18. Will "not" have their accounts balanced between them and their God. Until a "destination" is reached in secular history. The "duration" will last many years, from 1914. The "cause" for this punishing is found within our own evil ignorance of Godly matters. The "motive" will be, "His" intended inducement to free His people from their own foolish chains that bind them. Making them in their feelings of hopelessness, to remember and reach out for "Him". The "final condition" from that punishment and "on this account", before all is done, will be achieved as stated in the oracles of Daniel. By "reason" of the "TIME" stated and established in history, equipping the last part of Israel's history with things necessary for knowledge to be understood. The "final time" for all this killing, vanities, flatteries, purging, and the "calling" towards some of God's children will continue until all of Daniel chapter 11, is reached. We will also see in verse 40 that it is the end of World War II,-or- the two phases of the same war have come to an end! This expression, "TIME OF THE END" covers much secular history, and cross checks with other notable biblical prophecies. In other words, verse 35 now awakens us all to the very limit of man's conquering civilisations have been reached. These words are the "measure" of what years we have left in this era. The line has been drawn in secular history beyond which point we cannot cross until God says we can! There will be no particular foreign civilisation to dominate another for years on end, as we have seen in past history, with the Greeks and Romans etc: Because the world has been opened up from one end of the earth to the other, when all large and small nations are all on the world stage together. Even the little nations of the earth are saying, "I am strong"!

The verses to follow on from Daniel 11:35 will now slowly bring onto that world stage all nations. They, with an enormous army out of these nations are heading towards the final end of our days of prophecy and into the Middle East etc: The clock of the "final" countdown has started since 1914 and is ticking away to the "end of man's historical time". We cannot stop it, nor interfere, until all man's secular history has run its full course. Then, it will be the turn of the "Kingdom of Stone" which will set itself up upon this earth, instead of man's kingdoms. (Daniel 2:44-45). During this phase of "END TIME" history, which is set for all man's machinations to finish, many people's lives will continue to be "PURGED AND MADE WHITE" from moral defilement around them. In other words, we, of the latter days, are all on a sort of "trial" period being put through the test of choice and experience. For us, extra knowledge upon biblical matters has been "increased", more so than in past eras. Which Daniel has prophesied, it would be so. The children of God will then be emerging to be counted out of this evil world as "clean", as our world will allow these children to be.

These things are most definitely coming to pass, otherwise, the daughter of Zion, and the Daughter of Jerusalem, would not have their own will power or sufficient desire to come out of many nations. As a distinct group of individuals absolutely known!

The "increased knowledge" for these children from many churches, and more of them outside churches, is increased more so from this time onwards.

So, what verse 35 is telling us is the World War I of 1914-18 is the "beginning" of a countdown for planet earth. Verse 35 is also telling us the World War I and World War II is the same war, and is connected through the verses that are to follow in Daniel's chapter 11. With the killing and the "PURGING" going on until that phase in secular history finishes at verse 40, which brings these two wars to an end.

Daniel's "END TIME" prophecy is witnessed by two other well-known prophetic scriptural passages. Which come from our Lords words in Matthew 24:6-14, and our Lords words from the "ride of 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse", in Revelation 6:1-8. These two chapters from Matthew and Revelations cross check Daniel's prophecy, to give one a fuller picture of what the "TIME OF THE END" means, completely. We humans must take note of these things, and try and understand this knowledge of truth, then exercising the mind and becoming sure. Thereby proving all things, as we head into the treacherous years towards 2,000 AD, and onwards. The whole "House of Israel", (Which comprises the British stock of the Commonwealth nations, and the United States of America) plus the "House of Judah" (Jew); Are now well and truly into the "END TIME" of their "curse" zone, within secular and biblical history; Which "curse" was passed upon these nations of all Israel in ancient times by God through Moses and the prophets. In which they swore would happen to them, if these same people did not return to the Lord their God and change their evil ways!

I repeat reader my former words from World War I and on into secular history. It becomes bloodier and more intense for these nations, and the "PURGING" of these people's sins continues until all history has been accomplished as prophesied, from within the Book of Daniel, etc.

Verse 35's famous words "TIME OF THE END" takes us into and through verses 36,37,38,39, and 40; Thus, making these 5 verses another "block" which will unravel into World War II. These 2 World Wars becoming the same war fought with the "Eagle" of Germany. But with a few years in between them for the licking of wounds and picking up the ruinous pieces. The Western Allies it seemed, had put the first World War behind them, but Germany had not; Their defeat and shame felt by this Imperial Eagle had the food of revenge stuck in its gut, until the years ahead allowed them to spew it out, and back into the faces of those who had brought him low. Out of the Eagle of Austria came a Corporal who had served in the Great War, named Adolf Hitler. Whose defeat of his Fatherland burned a fire inside him for 20 years. The humiliation of France came in June 1940 when Hitler marched into Paris, and France's leaders had to sign the papers of defeat. Hitler and his officers collected themselves upon revenge, thereby destroying the "Treaty of Versailles" which was Germany's defeat in 1918-19.

Under the same railway carriage roof, where that Treaty was signed sitting upon the same seats, receiving this time France's fall; With exhilaration and vindicating of Germany's honour, Hitler, had that railway carriage blown up. As if wiping out Germany's defeat in World War I, from the memory.

Many biblical scholars have been unable to fathom many of Daniel's verses correctly. Because the expression "TIME OF THE END" is used in verse 40, they know they have to accept immediately, that indeed this particular prophecy is dealing with the "last days" of man's ruling power on earth. Bible Scholars then say, -incorrectly,- most of Daniel's verses up to verse 34 deals with the ancient times of Antiochus Epiphanes of Syria against the Jews. These verses having described his career therein, and that the "END TIME" prophecy has overleaped the centuries of 2000 years to verse 35. Scholars then go on to say, -in their confusion- that the destiny of the "little horn" of Daniel chapter 7 is now seen at the END, and the "little horn" is an apostate church out of Christianity, and not out of the Jew. So, by biblical scholars conjecturing about Biblical History, and their so-called unravelling of Daniel's verses. They have jumped and spanned 2000 years of secular history between Antiochus Epiphanes, and the "TIME OF THE END". It seems by scholars reckoning, God left us with no knowledge of those 2,000 years, and those same scholars do not apologise for this incredible way of teaching prophecy to the people, with 2000 years of historical silence! The excuse they give for this "silence" is that prophecy does not concern itself with history as such but only with history that affects Israel (or the Jews) and the Holy Land.

Talk about the blind leading the blind! This is biblical illiteracy and is a prime example of scholar's ignorance of truth. Yet! For their own lack of knowledge, they hold others captive.

The above example of historical silence to which I have referred, was put forward in Scofield's references for Daniel's prophecies and others. Whereas Daniel's are explaining all the history of the dream image of Nebuchadnezzar. That of Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, British Empire, and USA.

I have studied many good sects of churches for years, only to find they all fall into a "no way out" pit called "Antiochus Epiphanes".

The sect of "The Seventh Day Adventists", "Signs of the Times" pamphlet, once gave a series of articles called, "The unfolding of the Mysteries of Daniel the Prophet", by Dr. Desmond Ford, who, went to great lengths at supposedly explaining these mysterious prophecies.

Which, as far as I was concerned the prophecies were not explained properly at all! With Daniel's Chapter 11 he was bogged down in "conjecture" as Scofield's references have done. The verses in Daniel Chapter 11 from Verse 21, which same verse makes mention of a Vile Person. -Dr: Ford says, that "Vile Person" was Antiochus Epiphanes, (I have shown him to be Constantine the Great). The many verses following verse 21, Doctor Ford says in summing up. "THESE VERSES IN DANIEL 11 NOT ONLY FIT THE CAREER OF ANTIOCHUS BUT THEY ALSO MATCH ACTIVITIES OF PAGAN ROME AGAINST THE JEWS, AND THE PERSECUTIONS WHICH RESULTED IN THE MIDDLE AGES FROM AN ILLICIT UNION OF CHURCH AND STATE. THIS APPLICATION IS THE ONE MOST PERTINENT TO THE TWENTIETH CENTURY CHURCH. IN ITS MAIN FEATURES IT WILL YET BE FULFILLED ONCE MORE AT THE TIME OF THE END, AS VERSE 36-45 MAKE CLEAR". Dr: Ford's explanations of conjecture are not clear at all, whereas our Heavenly"Father's" secular history ruling in the Kingdoms of men are! -Through visions,- showing man what is to come to pass in man's continuing secular histories, and it is made plain and absolute for man to understand! Daniel's historical prophecies are made plain down to the last jot and tittle, of the most important events that affected the whole 12 tribes of Israel. Throughout their alien years through the centuries. Daniel once told Nebuchadnezzar -Babylon's King- "THE DREAM IS CERTAIN, AND THE INTERPRETATION SURE"! (Daniel 2:45) Why then should it be any less today? The interpretation stands as a rock! "SURE", because one can read it in secular history!

These verses of Daniel's etc. are not verses for the 20th century churches to fall over in a blundering fashion. It is our duty to exercise the mind around them. Firstly, for the relearning of those teachers within churches, and then the relearning for its peoples. These verses of Daniel Chapter 11 are for a time of War and punishment, coupled with the "calling" and the restoration of both houses of Israel.

The "Worldwide church of God" founded by a late sincere man Herbert Armstrong, put out many excellent pamphlets, and he had his finger on the pulse of Daniel's prophecies many times, only to lose it again. He goes to great lengths by saying, "prophecy is fulfilled to the letter", then proceeds to try and show this to happen in verse by verse of Daniel Chapter 11. But sadly, like the other scholars, he too gets submerged in Antiochus Epiphanes. When all the while Daniel is telling us about the secular history of the British Isles (clay) of Israel and the Romans (iron).

In his earlier verses of Daniel chapter 11, Mr Armstrong gives us history of the Syrian Kingdom and how Antiochus Epiphanes came onto the world stage of that history. From verse 21 (that Vile Person) he too gives this verse to Antiochus, then verse after verse onwards is translated as that same Syrian King fighting Egypt, or the Romans etc. until verse 32 is reached. Mr Armstrong then says, "RIGHT HERE THE PROPHECY CUTS OFF FROM THE CONTINUATION OF EVENTS IN THE HISTORY OF THOSE ANCIENT NORTH AND SOUTH KINGDOMS. VERSE 32 TO 35 DESCRIBES IN "GENERAL" THE WHOLE COURSE OF GOD'S PEOPLE FROM THE DAYS OF CHRIST TO THE PRESENT".

Note the word "general", he really means in "obscurity". -Mr. Armstrong continues with, "FROM VERSE 36 TO VERSE 40 THESE VERSES GO TO THE ROMAN EMPERORS OF THE LEGS OF IRON". Even these verses he does not translate, who the emperors were, but he translates through words of conjecture, like Dr: Ford does. Then, when verse 40- is read, and the expression the "TIME OF THE END" is used, Mr Armstrong says, "WE COME NOW TO THE VERY PRESENT CENTURY". Then goes on to "conjecture" translate the rest of the verses giving them to Ethiopia, Mussolini, and a revived Roman Empire.

Now, let us stop right here reader and "think" a while. Then work it out for yourselves, would such explicate prophetic verses that Daniel gives, in such minute detail, talk on and on so much about one ancient personage (Antiochus Epiphanes) in secular history? Then, without a clear-cut reason suddenly jump 2,000 years into hodgepodge of history and into the "END TIME", and the last days of twentieth century? Is this "END TIME" dealing with Mussolini and Revived Roman Empire, or is it dealing with Dr: Fords "little horn" and an apostate church?

Why should most of the oracles of God deal with the Jews being massacred by Antiochus Epiphanes in ancient times? By Scholars standards the "END TIME" does not deal at all with that same Jewish nation, which, in their millions were being murdered and tortured to death in an unparalleled holocaust under Adolf Hitler! What about the large 10 tribed separate nation of the "House of Israel" and the killings that 2 world wars brought on them? It doesn't make sense to work out biblical prophecy by throwing around ideas within secular history. All one is doing is making secular history fit Bible prophecy by forcing a few words to do many things. These sort of translations can easily be achieved, by working within a set of guidelines of the rules and conditions of the respective churches to which one belongs; Then, feeling justified in one' own interpretations, and not the real translations within the Oracles of God! Therefore, somewhere along the line those peculiar rules could fit. Daniel, expressly unfurled in Chapter 11 the secular history, -step by step- of the 10 toes of iron and clay. Given as the fifth empire of Nebuchadnezzar's great image written in Chapter 2 verses 41 to 43. -(Or called the 10 horns of Daniel chapter 7). This -step by step- history is for ones "complete" understanding!

Daniel then continues on in Chapter 12 to give one the sixth Kingdom of the "STONE",- it's as simple as that!

Mr Herbert Armstrong should have understood prophecy much better than some other biblical scholars, because he had already accepted British Stock, etc. perceiving they were indeed the "House of Israel". He should have seen that this Chapter of Daniel 11, held the milestones or "waymarks" of the journeying these people took in secular history. For the "then", Mr Armstrong's Worldwide Church, the understanding I have given from out of Daniel 11, is the "Cement" they needed to bind up their belief in this factor.

The Jehovah's Witnesses have an extremely involved translation of Daniel Chapter 11. Some facets of their thinking leaving one's mouth agape with disbelief, and other facets of their thinking make sense. This denomination ever pushing a desire to make themselves "spiritual Israel" and belonging to Daniel's people. As the true Church of Jehovah, who were anointed as such in 1919. This has blinded their thinking processes! The "iron and the clay" of Daniel 2, (whose history is in Daniel Chapter11) the Jehovah's witnesses say, "THE FINAL DAYS" OF MANKIND HAS BROUGHT FORTH, KINGS, KIASERS, AND CZARS, AND THEY ARE REPLACED BY THE COMMON MAN OF REVOLUTIONARY AND DEMOCRATIC RULERS, LIKE "IRON AND CLAY" THEY DO NOT MIX. EVEN IN THE UNITED NATIONS THEY DO NOT MIX TOGETHER, BUT ENGAGE IN ANY DEBATES AND THREATS, TRULY THE KINGDOM PROVES TO BE DIVIDED". It seems strange to me reader, that many sects "note" that Daniel in chapter 2 verse 42 speaks of a "kingdom" -only one- Yet! All are then prepared to translate that "one kingdom" into many nations as the Jehovah's witnesses have done, calling the -United Nations as one kingdom.- Or as others have done calling that "one kingdom" the nations of the European Common Market countries etc!

I will give a condensed version of Jehovah's Witnesses translations from their magazine "Watch Tower" of Daniel Chapter 11 -they say,- From Verse 20:- "SYRIA BY NOW IS A PROVINCE OF ROME, AND THE KING OF THE NORTH IS REPRESENTED BY THE ROMAN EMPEROR AUGUSTUS".

Verse 21:- "THIS IS THE EMPEROR TIBERIUS, WHO IS THE ONE DESPISED, (hence the words "arms of a flood") THIS WAS DURING TIBERIUS REIGN, A DANGEROUS MUTINY ON THE NORTHERN FRONTIER OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE WAS CONTROLLED, FULFILLING THE WORDS OF PROPHECY. "THE ARMS OF THE FLOOD" OR THEY WILL BE FLOODED OVER ON ACCOUNT OF HIM, AND THEY WILL BE BROKEN". I shall remark here and say, that the Romans were always having problems on their frontiers. Daniel 11 Verse 22-27. "EVENTUALLY THE PROPHECY BRINGS US DOWN TO "THE TIME APPOINTED" IN 1914 (Daniel 11 -27 Luke 21-24) BY NOW THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN THE IDENTITY OF GODS PEOPLE. SINCE FLESHLY ISRAEL REJECTED THE MESSIAH, JEHOVAH'S CHOSEN PEOPLE HAS BECOME SPIRITUAL ISRAEL, THE CONGREGATION OF THE ANOINTED CHRISTIANS (1 Peter 2/9-10). THE IDENTITY OF THE 2 KINGS ALSO HAS CHANGED, BRITAIN, WITH ITS POLITICAL PARTNER THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, HAS EVIDENTLY BECOME KING OF THE SOUTH, WHILE THE KING OF THE NORTH IS GERMANY. WORLD WAR I WAS FORETOLD IN THESE WORDS. -Daniel 11-29, THE KING OF THE SOUTH WON THE WAR. THE SITUATION WAS THUS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WAS TRUE "AT THE FIRST" THAT IS, WHEN ALL CONQUERING ROME WAS KING OF THE NORTH".

The Jehovah's Witness pamphlet does not seem to have a central point on their historical map, to gauge the Kings of North and South? And ask themselves is it perhaps North and South of Palestine, or elsewhere?

They go on to say, -Daniel 11 verse 31:- "SINCE 1914 THE COMPETITION IS BETWEEN THE TWO KINGS, AND PARTICULARLY OF THE WAY THAT BOTH WOULD OPPOSE JEHOVAH'S PEOPLE. HE ALSO PROPHECIES THE APPEARANCE OF THE "DISGUSTING THING THAT IS CAUSING DESOLATION", WHICH EXISTS TODAY AS THE UNITED NATIONS ORGANISATION. -FINALLY THE ANGEL DIRECTS OUR ATTENTION TO THE "TIME OF THE END". Daniel 11-40:- "TIME OF THE END", SOMETIMES REFERS TO THE "TIME OF THE END" OF THIS SYSTEM OF THINGS FROM 1914 TO ARMAGEDDON. (Daniel 8-17/19: 12/4) BUT EVENTS IN THE YEAR 1914 "THE TIME APPOINTED", WERE FORETOLD BACK IN VERSE 29, AND THE ANGELS PROPHECY HAS BROUGHT US FAR BEYOND THAT. (Foot note, -notice too that in verse 35, "the time of the end" is said to be still in the future). HENCE, THE "TIME OF THE END" HERE IN VERSE 40 MUST REFER TO THE FINAL STAGES OF THE 2,300 YEAR LONG STRUGGLE BETWEEN THE KINGS OF NORTH AND SOUTH. SINCE THE COLLAPSE OF THE NAZI-FASCIST POWERS AT THE END OF WORLD WAR II, WE HAVE WITNESSED RIVALRY BETWEEN TWO SUPERPOWERS, ONE REPRESENTED AS THE KING OF THE NORTH, DOMINATING A MOSTLY SOCIALISTIC, BLOC OF NATIONS, AND THE OTHER REPRESENTED AS THE KING OF THE SOUTH, DOMINATING A LARGELY CAPITALISTIC BLOC.

Daniel 11/1-40 - Matthew 24-3) -CLEARLY SUMMIT CONFERENCES ARE NO SOLUTION TO THE SUPERPOWER RIVALRY. THE TENSIONS CAUSED BY THE "PUSHING" OF THE KING OF THE SOUTH AND THE EXPANSIONISM OF THE KING OF THE NORTH MAY GO THROUGH MORE OR LESS INTENSE PHASES; BUT EVENTUALLY, IN SOME WAY, THE KING OF THE NORTH WILL BE PROVOKED INTO EXCESSIVELY VIOLENT ACTION DESCRIBED BY DANIEL.

THESE FINAL DAYS ARE ESPECIALLY DIFFICULT FOR GOD'S PEOPLE, WHO DURING THIS CENTURY HAVE BEEN PERSECUTED BY BOTH KINGS. THE ANGEL WARNED THAT THE KING OF THE NORTH "WILL ACTUALLY ENTER INTO THE LAND OF DECORATION", AND THERE WILL BE MANY LANDS THAT WILL BE MADE TO STUMBLE. "THE LAND OF DECORATION" IS SYMBOLICALLY THE LAND OF GODS PEOPLE. THE ANGELS WORDS MUST MEAN, THEN, THAT AS WELL AS CONQUERING MANY NATIONS, THE KING OF THE NORTH ATTACKS THE SPIRITUAL ESTATE OF JEHOVAH'S PEOPLE". (Daniel 8/9- Daniel 11/41-44- Ezekiel 20-6).

After trying to understand exactly what the Jehovah's Witnesses were saying, in all their translations of Daniel's prophecy, I felt my head was swirling round and round as if watching a pot of stew into which everything eatable had been thrown, and one kept that stew stirred thoroughly! Their thinking has 2 paths, one to prove they are Gods people "only", and no other sect or church has achieved that status. The second path is quoting modern day secular history as one sees it, then fitting biblical prophecy into it to make it sound knowledgeable, and making ancient secular history fit biblical verses that don't fit, and the result is a mess!

The Christadelphians sect, -to whom I once belonged,- are a good peoples who rely on historical fact to base their translations of prophecy upon. But they are stiff necked and will not bow to other denominations perhaps being right in a few things. Or perhaps the other sects understand a "truth" which the Christadelphians have missed. There are many sects who would not accept that British stock is one and the same as the "House of Israel". Such as some of the denominations I have quoted from earlier. If one mentions the fact that British stock is belonging to the 10 tribes of Israel to these Christadelphians, instantly one is ear marked as belonging to the "British Israelite Federation Society". Of course, if you do not recant these thoughts then one is turned from the "table of the Lord", until one submits to the error of ones thinking. One's name is then gazetted in their magazine throughout the world, and one becomes a leper: I know much about "these" biblical students because these events happened to me! -I hold no grudge whatsoever, because it was the Lord's will that I be released from all churches, so I could exercise my mind freely outside rules and regulations.- Here though, writing about this sect, it would have been remiss of me not to have mentioned that unhappy episode of years gone by. Now I can indeed hold my head up high knowing no one can point a finger at me and say, Ah! Ha! she's pushing that sect's point of view!

The bible students of Christadelphians are so very keen in forcing Biblical prophecy, -throughout the Bible,- to fit the "Jews" of the House of Judah, that all else falls to the ground and trodden on. They, like the other sects I have written about, also feel "they" are the chosen people of God in the Gentiles, and only "they" hold the truth in their thinking. All these sects call themselves "Spiritual Israel", because "they" accept Jesus as their King.

I will quote from a book called "Elpis Israel" by John Thomas M.D, (written over 100 years ago) which is the foundation stone of Christadelphian thinking. From Daniel 11 verse 5, the interpretation of the visions are given to the machinations of Alexanders generals of Egypt and Syria, and we reach verse 15, and the history of these peoples goes on and on.

Verse 15:- Romans, Palestine and Antiochus Epiphanes.

16:- Antiochus the Great.

17:- Greece, Egypt, Cleopatra and Epiphanes.

18:- Rome, Antiochus, Greece.

19:- Treasure, and Antiochus.

20:- Antiochus,- Philopater of Egypt and Romans.

21:- Antiochus Epiphanes

22:- Antiochus- Egyptians and Palestine.

23:- Ptolemy, Philometer of Egypt and Antiochus.

24:- Antiochus and Egypt.

25:- Egypt, Euergetes II and Antiochus.

26:- Philometer of Egypt and Antiochus.

27:- Philometer of Egypt and Antiochus.

28:- Antiochus Epiphanes- Jerusalem.

29:- Philometer and Euergetes of Egypt- Antiochus.

30:- Chittim Egypt. Assyrian Kingdom.

31:- Apollonius and Assyro-Macedonian troops,- Antiochus Epiphanes.

32:- Antiochus and Maccabees.

33:- Mattathias and 5 sons. (Maccabees)

34:- Judas Maccabaeus, an Antiochus.

35:- "Time of the end" (Here is added a paragraph of explanation).

"HERE IS A BREAK IN THE PROPHECY, NOTHING MORE IS SAID ABOUT ISRAEL, AND THE KING OF THE NORTH UNTIL THE PREDICTION IS RESUMED IN THE FORTIETH VERSE, WHICH MAY BE REGARDED AS CONTINUOUS WITH VERSE THIRTY-FIVE. THE LATTER SPEAKS OF THEIR BEING TRIED AND MADE WHITE TO, -(or till) THE TIME OF THE END, AND THEN THE FORTIETH VERSE REINTRODUCES THE KING OF THE SOUTH, AND THE KING OF THE NORTH, AND OUTLINES THE EVENTS THEY WERE TO BRING TO PASS IN THAT TIME, AND WHICH WILL END IN THE RESURRECTION, WHEN THEY WHO HAVE BEEN TRIED AND MADE WHITE IN THE LONG INTERVAL, WILL STAND IN THEIR LOT WITH DANIEL AT THE END OF THE 1,335 DAYS. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE "LITTLE HELP" DERIVED FROM THE VICTORIES OF THE MACCABEES, THE HISTORY OF ISRAEL HAS BEEN A SERIES OF CALAMITIES TO THIS DAY, AND WILL SO CONTINUE TO BE TILL THE "TIME APPOINTED" FOR THEIR DELIVERANCE ARRIVES".

John Thomas who wrote this interpretation of Daniel Chapter 11 from the book Elpis Israel, was it seemed an extremely learned man. We must also allow for the fact he wrote so long ago, having no idea of 2 world wars, nor atomic weapons. Yet! He should at least have realised. God would not leave us in the last days without understanding all things factually. We, who belong to that time of the end facing dreadful atomic times -Followers of Christ,- of the ancient and modern history throughout hundreds of centuries have also been other good Christians who died for their beliefs.

The monotonous list of verses given by Dr: Thomas translating Daniel 11, to the activities of ancient leaders of men. Which leaders were not of the historical calibre of Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Cyrus of Persia, Octavian Augustus, Napoleon, Hitler etc. These men took the world by the throat and shaped it according to their own personalities. Why is it that Dr: Thomas' translations did not see the "vision" of our Lord in Daniel's verses from chapter 11. -Why is it Daniel,- according to the Christadelphians- does not mention in his verses, Titus storming Jerusalem in 70 AD and making a forest of crucified Jews around that city?

The iron legs of Rome marched through the world and smashing all it wished, closing Jerusalem to the Jew, forcing them into the long walk of being strangers in other nations! Rome itself in the days of Antiochus Epiphanes, Antiochus the Great and the Ptolemies of Egypt, BC 300 to BC 168 etc. was gradually growing into a massive power it became during its early Republic and Imperial days! The list given by John Thomas translating Daniel's verses, is a prime example of how to lead people astray by fluffing up knowledge to make it work anyway one wishes.

Modern day Christadelphians are adamant that verse 40 of Daniel 11 is a Russian attack on the Middle East in World War III. -When instead its Russian "blitzkrieg" at the end of World War II, and "Operation Overload" from Normandy against Hitler. We must ask ourselves now after reading four versions of Daniel's Chapter 11, - which version is called "truth" and which do we accept from these four different denominations? All of them calling themselves God's chosen people, all of them adamant "they only" have the truth, and others do not! When does all this conjecture end, and real unalterable truth begin? If we read 2Peter 1:19-21, we get the answer. "WE HAVE ALSO, (In addition to) A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; (something further of greater amount of an inspired prediction) WHERE UNTO YE DO WELL THAT YE TAKE HEED, (To what end in a proper manner, and skilfully with caution considering prophecy with the mind). AS UNTO A LIGHT THAT SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, (Giving spiritual joy and comfort in a lively brilliant manner. Not of an obscure unenlightened state of ignorance, in a peculiar calling), UNTIL THE DAY DAWN,(Till the point or degree is reached, or the "time" specified for this occasion, and to throw light on the darkness. For more knowledge to break forth, open, and appear), AND THE DAY STAR ARISE IN YOUR HEARTS"; (When the time specified for a heavenly body as a light will have influence in your life, which will radiate "qualities" into you, by seeing and learning. It will come into view for all to see, it will act and exert power to your inner most being, -giving one a secret purpose to all our affections).
Verse 20:- "KNOWING THIS FIRST, THAT NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION"; (Or to be convinced and understand clearly and not in darkness. No matter how great we all consider ourselves to be. Be taught and instructed anew, let "learning" be your highest principle, don't let "negative words" in any degree inspire wrong predictions, from the utterances of the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible. Whatever may be the circumstances, we do not learn secretly and unconnected with others, the explanations and meanings of prophecy are in familiar words and language within the Oracles of God).
Verse 21:- "FOR THE PROPHECY CAME NOT IN OLD TIMES BY THE WILL OF MAN; BUT HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE AS THEY WERE MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST; (Or- because of the leading of the prophets inducing us to seek these inspired predictions or utterances, truth has advanced nearer to us, and to those "separated" beings of old. The denial or refusal of these words from ancient times or seasons for us has become the intention, determination, or fixed purpose of the human race. Save or excepting those, godly, pious, or set apart persons of the human race, whose source for wonderful Biblical words was The Supreme Being God. They did utter words in writing these persons being used as a "second person". They were set in motion and impelled to be different and consecrated for sacred use which is the invisible spirit of God.

So then, this "more" Sure Word of Prophecy comes from the "Oracles of God" written expertly by Daniel and other prophets, and each word is an inspired prediction to the human race. Their dreams are "Certain", and the Interpretation is Sure! Because God rules in the kingdom's of men! "He" does not rule in chaos throughout the centuries but with Law and Order, but within times and seasons. Setting up in history and removing whom so ever "He" wishes. All that is asked of us is to be "wise" enough to seek out and have "clear" perception of fact and truth which leads to complete understanding!

If the Christadelphians were "clear" in their perception of truth, they wouldn't have leaned on all Dr: John Thomas' words using them as a second Bible. This book should have been used as a "pointer" to the real path of truth. It was perhaps a thought-provoking book for its day and the man a goodly person, but there was a limit to its use. The errors for interpretation of Daniel's Chapter, lies with modern day Christadelphians who are adamant about a third world war involving Russia, Yet! Have not perceived in Daniel's prophecies the verses showing World Wars I and II. One cannot have prophecy speaking of a third world war, without the first and second being proposed and shown in words also!

What then of the "Jews", and the bitter cup of terror they drank under the Eagle of Germany in World War II? Was their terror greater under Antiochus Epiphanes than under Hitler? According to Christadelphian bible students, Daniel never mentioned the Hitler episode at all, for the Jews of the Israelite nation. Instead, they say Daniel spent 20 odd verses on Syrian & Egyptian ancient history only.

Once more I repeat, Daniel's Chapter 11 lays down emphatically, the history of all the 5 human ruling powers which were seen in the image of Nebuchadnezzar's dream. Beginning with Daniel telling Nebuchadnezzar what would become of the Babylonian Empire of which he was king. His Empire holding the position of the "head of Gold" on that image. Daniel goes on to explain the image, filling the following words with the long years of secular history, -step by step- with the power of Persia (Silver), power of Alexander the Great (Brass). The Ptolemies of Egypt and Seleucids of Syria. The terrible Iron of the Roman Empire through its many historical guises, was the strongest of them all. Whose history spills over into the history of the 10 toes of Clay (House of Israel), and the Roman (Iron) British Isles. The 2 feet divided, became 2 types of power in the earth, that of the British Empire, and the United States of America eventually. Daniel goes on further to explain the sixth and greatest empire (that of the Stone) coming from space. Which enters the earthly days of the kings of the last empires of the feet, smashing into them.

In keeping with the "set patterns" of our Heavenly Father's Law the sixth kingdom of the Stone puts all human evil under it, when all nations are to learn judgement! The earth in peace is then handed back to Godly rule within its own time zone, which the Seventh kingdom of "rest" in the "patterns" of things. This time zone has the "peace" of the seventh day, called the Sabbath!

Absolutely nothing in biblical Scripture is left to conjecture, it has "pattern and is numbered" to set it on the right path of understanding. Biblical Scripture is a magnificent intricate creation within itself, and the patterns therein are an eye catching, beautiful intricate flower, to be understood. To find the "patterns", of the Oracles of God today's denominations must throw out old long held ideas and imitate the sciences. Thereby sticking year after year with the test tube of the problems set before one, until "all" the churches break the code of prophecy.

Today all churches "assume" to much in the vanities of their respective intellect. God has increased knowledge in the last days for us to understand the prophetic words of the Bible. Just as much as "He" has done for science and technology, when they stumble across things by accident!

Paul told us all what to do to relearn God's Oracles, in Hebrews 5:11-14.
Verse 11:- "OF WHOM (Jesus and the prophets) WE HAVE (teachers such as Paul) MANY THINGS TO SAY, AND HARD TO BE UTTERED, SEEING YE ARE DULL OF HEARING"; (It's hard, that the people cannot hear, because the mind has been "fixed" on habitual forms of learning. This knowledge one must learn again, which brings great lamentations)!
Verse 12:- "FOR WHEN FOR A TIME YE OUGHT TO BE TEACHERS, (That "time period" of teaching the stories and past forms of habitual scriptural learning is over), YE HAVE NEED THAT ONE TEACH YOU AGAIN WHICH BE THE FIRST PRINCIPLES OF THE ORACLES OF GOD: (We all must now relearn something new from those same prophetic Scriptures. Which the ears have not heard fully before, and the mind has not grasped that which is the "basic" truth set for our learning. Which truth starts at the "beginning" of prophecy. The "truth" comes straight from ancient blessings and visions told in wisdom, within those oracles of God. We must seek it out earnestly, but only the wise and prudent with desire will know it)! AND ARE BECOME SUCH AS HAVE NEED OF MILK, AND NOT OF STRONG MEAT".

(Many biblical minded people had become teachers for mankind out of surface stories of the Bible, which seemed right at the time, in various churches. Now however, in the latter time of history one must know to the full that for generations we have been learning about ourselves, and our natural ancestors. We must now learn of the sin and guilt, which lies at our "own" doorstep, with our past shallowness of learning. Which is strong meat indeed, finding much trouble in chewing it over and swallowing it).
Verse 13:- "FOR EVERY ONE THAT USETH MILK IS UNSKILFUL IN THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; FOR HE IS A BABE".(Or one has accepted without question at face value, the definition of Scriptures taught by past teachers. Perhaps because all one's family learned that particular way. Or perhaps one felt there was no need to put oneself outside a church to learn Scripture. Perhaps those teachers gave one lazy security in fables, which lulled one into acceptance easily? This way of learning has been called feeding off milk and was only a sop to the insides of senses. To learn about "complete" truth forged in righteousness within the Law, is a road full of hard work, and soul searching. It is a very lonely road indeed and is not for the faint hearted! I know, I have been on that terrible lonely road many years).
Verse 14:- "BUT STRONG MEAT BELONGETH TO THEM THAT ARE FULL OF AGE, (Or the years set aside for the higher education of learning, diligently seeking with one's full mind and heart, have matured into fruit of unbelievable exquisite taste) EVEN THOSE WHO BY REASON OF USE HAVE THEIR SENSES EXERCISED TO DISCERN BOTH GOOD AND EVIL". (Or EVEN though our past learning through the years have been short or long, and one have felt that they have searched out the basic truth of the Oracles of God and have learned the "truth". Keeping that which is good maybe tossed out that which is human fables of untruth)?

It seems reader that for the last few pages I have gone off the beaten track, and away from verse 35 of Daniel chapter 11. It is imperative however that I explain fully "why" the "end time" of Daniel's Chapter 11, is so very important to one and all, to learn the Scriptures correctly from it. It is of great necessity that you understand in all man's denominations and churches, the realities of this situation which, I am trying to show from our Heavenly Father's great wisdom the Bible. In that Holy Book it is written, we must all see "eye to eye" on this whole matter. Because the "daughter of Zion" must AWAKE now at the "end of time", she must put on her beautiful garments of understanding. (Isaiah 52:7,8, 28:7-16). It is reader as the prophets tell us!

"DO NOT ERR ANYMORE THROUGH LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, IT MAY COST YOU YOUR LIFE"!

Soon there will be no "World-wide Church of God" as such, no "Seventh Day Adventists" no "Christadelphians" etc. etc. The rules and regulations of each individual church which has divided all apart, will be of no importance when the "oracles of God" are relearned, and understood! God's real Called Children are scattered amongst you all, and it is to them that I write I ask in my boldness towards you please settle "this matter" within yourselves this day! Those who are wise enough and desire to be fed from the "grown-ups" table. Wanting to know truth and coming from many paths, are all going in the same direction towards another church, -not made by human endeavours, but The Lords Church!

To finish the end words in Daniel 11:35. "BECAUSE IT IS YET FOR A TIME APPOINTED". The last time we saw almost the same words was in verse 27 to verse 29 of Daniel 11. Verse 27 said, "FOR THE END SHALL BE AT THE TIME APPOINTED". Verse 27 was then referring to King William of Normandy, from France, and that verse was looking over its shoulder as it were towards verse 29, which was "fulfilling" that "TIME APPOINTED" bringing forward Henry VII Tudor, out of Normandy France. In other words, it took 3 verses as a block in history to cover that noticeable particular time zone within that history. Which ended with an "APPOINTED TIME" in secular history, which had been set for that phase to begin, happen, then finish, between France versus the British Isles.

So, the "block" of verses from verse 35 and "THE TIME OF THE END" finishes at verse 40. With that "APPOINTED TIME" for this phase of secular history between Germany versus the British Isles, also to begin, happen, then finish. So, the "APPOINTED TIME" in verse 35 of Daniel 11 is gathering to itself verses 36 to 40 to fulfil prophecy. When World Wars I and II would be seen as one and the same but fought separately as 2 levels of battles. Then, history will be poised once more to engulf "all" the nation of Israel - both houses (Judah and Israel). Verse 36 brings onto secular histories world stage a diabolical Eagle of the warriors of men, Hitler's Nazi Germany. Who, brought with him that strong flag waving German Eagle. This time that Eagles talons were outstretched to kill with ferocity, its wings ready to stoop on unsuspecting or frightened prey, to rip and tear to pieces all who dared get in its way. The marauding Eagle of Nazi Germany has imprinted itself on the memory of those who are alive today, they, remembering to the full what a terrible hunting eagle it was! Because of all the mistakes biblical students within various churches have made in translating the verses within Daniel chapter 11. We must stand and mark time as it were, at this point in unravelling the "words"- "TIME OF THE END", and "TIME APPOINTED". Because it is essential I give you other prophetic utterances dealing with the "TIME OF THE END", to cross check those translations I have already given. We shall do this by returning to the prophecies spoken by Jesus in Matthew 24 and Revelation chapter 6. These chapters establish for us all the "END TIME" picture and the breaking down of the pervading influences which surrounds us today. Matthew 24:6-12. "BEGINNING OF THE END".

This famous chapter of our Lord's of Matthew 24, called by some "The Olivet discourse", is full of world history which Jesus saw stretching out before Him into the 2,000 years ahead of His day. Jesus, like Daniel, set the word's down in simplicity, and in a condensed fashion; At the same time those words hide their own secrets. For instance, if we read the verses of Matthew 24:6-15, they give us the "pointer" when the term beginning of the "END TIME" starts, of which we read in verse 35 of Daniel 11.

Verse 6. "AND YE SHALL HEAR OF WARS AND RUMOURS OF WARS: SEE THAT YE BE NOT TROUBLED: FOR ALL THESE THINGS MUST COME TO PASS, BUT THE END IS NOT YET". When Jesus spoke these words, the Romans had not then destroyed Jerusalem, nor had that mighty iron civilisation fallen then changed. But was instead getting larger in its Imperial glory. Jesus was looking down through space and time, into mans on coming historical eras as a whole. He, knowing full well that the wars He spoke of were to be like contests of might between nations, which starts in violent opposition. Jesus spoke first of all, about war in the "plural" sense, seeing many wars. "He" goes on further to clarify that aggressive situation more so amongst mankind, by saying, and "rumours of wars". A "rumour" is common talk amongst people circulating reports of wars also abroad.
Verse 7:- "FOR NATION SHALL RISE AGAINST NATION, AND KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM: AND THERE SHALL BE FAMINES, AND PESTILENCES, AND EARTHQUAKES, IN DIVERS PLACES". Verses 6 and 7 are not only a recap of the warring world from the then Roman times, but into and through 2,000 years into the future of His time on earth. As if "He" was putting all into a nutshell for condensing purposes. Verse 7 "starts the time of the countdown" to all the tragedies of our modern times.

Biblical and secular histories tell us that World War I was started between the "rise", or that which becomes apparent, to take up arms and revolt, of one nation against another, and those 2 nations were Serbia and Austria Hungary.

As a rule, one reads the words in verse 7, with "NATION AGAINST NATION, AND KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM", as a sort of resume of the warring centuries of man. But we have already read of that resume in verse 6, which ended with "BUT THE END IS NOT YET".

So, verse 7 is now telling one when, and how, that END of years will be started and in what manner,- of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom,- which is a picture of world war.

Usually, secular history records wars (before World War I), as those wars which were begun by ever aggressive nations, or nations out for conquest to enlarge their empires, or for plundering. We have already seen these things happened in Daniel's prophecies written of Alexander the Great, of Rome, or the Vikings, Saxons etc. The beginning of World War I was different however, it brought the whole world into a terrible battle through one lone gunman in Serbia, assassinating another man of Austria-Hungary. Whose people were quarrelling over national borders. Serbia before 1914,- though part of the Balkan Countries, as was Greece, Bulgaria, etc:- continued its long struggle for the opportunity to be free of other subjugating nations. It was in a commanding geographical position in the Balkan states, therefore was eyed by other nations covetously. During the turn of the twentieth century Serbia found strength to break free from the ever-weakening Turkish empire. But by 1914 the Eagle of Austria- Hungary and Serbia were locked into the climax of their ongoing hostilities. The famous shots from that lone gunman, which killed the heir presumptive of the Austro- Hungarian throne. Rang out to the world to start that mad race and take sides in the conflict to come. Austria- Hungary held the Serbian government accountable for this act and declared war on Serbia in 1914. (Serbia following World War II became part of the Yugoslav Republic).

So, nation rose against nation, as verse 7 of Matthew 24 said. The kingdoms of the world aligned themselves against each other, and it was to become a conflict between the British Kingdom and German Kingdom instead. Rather than directly Serbia and Austria-Hungary, who had started it in the first place; So, all Daniel's verses pertaining to World War I were fulfilled to the "letter" of that Law. Verse 7 of Matthew 24 is the "sign" that the "END TIME" from that moment on of man's history is coming to a close!

The "first of these signs", endorsing that run up to World War I for cross checking these verses, that indeed these are correct, is established by our Lord in verse 15 of Matthew 24. Which same verse is set "out" of context between verse 14 and 16. That latter verses are dealing with our modern civilisation and its shallowness of purpose, and the tribulations of terror to come upon the world.

Verse 15:- "WHEN YE THEREFORE SHALL SEE THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, (Roman Papacy of verse 31 of Daniel 11) SPOKEN OF BY DANIEL THE PROPHET, STAND IN THE HOLY PLACE", (Or the Papacy became Infallible standing in Gods stead on earth, high priest and mediator, -instead of Christ,- ruler over the angels, giving only holy words to mankind)- (WHOSO READETH, LET HIM UNDERSTAND).

We will understand more so about verse 15 of Matthew 24 when we read about the Ride of the 4 horses of Revelation.

As for the remaining words written in Verse 7 of Matthew 24, that of FAMINES, PESTILENCES AND EARTHQUAKES. We have already read of some of these famines and pestilences, when some were a "hallmark" of the end of World War I, namely Spanish Flu and starvation in Daniel's Chapter 11. From that time and forward into our times, these things will increase continually.

A PESTILENCE is a plague or an epidemic of a contagious or fatal infectious nature, many times started by animals such as the Bubonic plague and rats. Today, the television or radio tells us continually of starvation destroying thousands of people, it tells of diseases of all kinds, from Tuberculosis, cancer, heart disease, influenza, venereal diseases, etc. etc. We hear of plagues of locusts, rabbits, of rats and mice etc. destroying great tracks of land. We have the plague of the motor vehicles, which mutilate and kill far more perhaps than wars have done. The plague of drugs and alcoholic drinks which is a growing curse to mankind. All these things happen in many places of the earth. The list of increasing number of earthquakes and of their intensity since World War I, are becoming more numerous and violent as the years gradually unfold towards the "TIME OF THE END". There are a number of seismologists recently who have spoken their concern over this ever-increasing pattern of upheavals in mother earths structure in this twentieth century. Indeed, people must realise that the earth is a living entity and moves and lives according to its laws, just like we do, and should be treated as such. The earth is also rebelling under the load of evil it is carrying from mankind, and against the injuries that are inflicted upon it. So, it rebels against its tormentors in many ways, sometimes erupting into earthquakes, or violent weather, roaring seas and volcanic activity.

Matthew chapter 24 from verse 8 gives us a quick rundown of the unholy times we live in. The prophecy saw the "afflictions", or grief distress and misery that World Wars I and II was to unleash upon the Jew -of the House of Judah- and of warring upon the Christian stock of the House of Israel. Then Matthew 24 continues from verse 12, showing the careless state of the world. We read that all these things are the "beginning of sorrows". That "beginning of the end" began from verse 7 and World War I, when the word "sorrow" would mean pain of mind from loss of loved ones, those afflicted in mind and body, having regret and sadness. Which "sorrow" would gradually become more intense as the years rolled past, and to the very "end" of all Daniel's prophecy! We know for sure Jesus is endorsing Daniel's "END TIME" prophecies, because as each verse of Matthew 24 is read its meaning gradually unfolds before one's eyes. Today, we can see those words happening around us. Again, I repeat, verse 9 speaks of the "afflictions" of the Jews, and of the Christians,(Daniel 11 verse 36) especially under Hitler's regime in World War II. The Jews were indeed, "delivered up and hated". Even thousands of Christians were "delivered up" who also went into the concentration camps, who fell within many nations.

Verse 11 of Matthew 24 speaks of the false prophets of our modern times, who will deceive many. Turn on the television and radio and see and hear many of those false prophets engaging in exercises of so-called holiness. Begging the people for their souls and their money, keeping those prophets in vanity and power. Eight out of ten of them are false prophets, yet many would deny it!

Verse 12:- "Iniquity" is everywhere around us, in the workplace, entertainment, at home, in the churches, etc. Verse 14:- The gospel of the kingdom is being preached by various good and bad denominations; many biblical voices control the airwaves and give out their books to that kingdom. Bible societies have gone to the Four Corners of the earth to give out the "Word" as it is written it would be so. Irrespective of who has the truth, or of which denomination which it speaks. They are all in turn fulfilling prophecy for the "END TIME". Soon, they will all see eye to eye, putting their differences behind them when full knowledge will increase more so, for all those who want to hear!

Verse 15:- of Matthew 24 is the verse that gives "stamp of approval" to which of the centuries we have been reading about. The "desolation that stands in the holy place" spoken of in this verse is from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, which was established in Daniel Chapter 11 verse 31 as the "Infallibility of the Roman Pope of 1869 AD. This verse is out of context from the other verses around it for a reason. It wants us to understand Daniel 11/31. Thus, pointing a finger to "when" the "END TIME" of the warring factions of mankind begins. Matthew chapter 24 is a large picture of the world around us that we live amongst. If one takes note of this picture we can see the disasters in all life. The world today is operating in an out-of-control state. So, this "END TIME" of all history has set the questions for all people. Who do we believe? Who do you worship, as in Matthew 24/15. How do you worship? Who are we? What is to become of me? How do I change, and for whom?

The answer to these questions is, we must trust in God's words, not man's, as a test of obedience which sets us free!

This "vision" also cross checks for accuracy when the first white horse rides, from Revelation 6:2. Let us look for further proof with the ride of the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Let us establish at first that Revelations is NOT largely only symbolic as people think. Many say one must not speculate on the detail in Revelations because of its symbolism, which can't be undone. It's just a summary of articles. Well! Let's just look into Revelation chapter 6 and find out!
