Daniel 11:34. "NOW WHEN THEY SHALL FALL, THEY SHALL BE HOLPEN WITH A LITTLE HELP; BUT MANY SHALL CLEAVE TO THEM WITH FLATTERIES".

Here is another descriptive verse filling in a bit more of the terrible picture of World War I. -The Great War-.

There were such multitudinous things going on at that time, which Daniel had "seen," that he picks out far reaching items of those MANY DAYS, which this war was to last. Those words of Daniel's are gradually filling that picture into "sections" of important events. Let us therefore unravel the first sentence of verse 34. "NOW WHEN THEY SHALL FALL THEY SHALL BE HOLPEN WITH A LITTLE HELP".

The word "NOW" means, at that present time, -or- after this has happened, -or- things being so. -"WHEN"- means at what or which time, just after that moment, -or- at the same time. -"THEY"- the plural of their. -"SHALL"- this word implies control and authority. -"FALL"- of course is to drop down, to die, to perish or ruined. -"THEY SHALL"- once more implies as the above translation. -"BE"- is to exist in the world of fact whether physical or mental. -"HOLPEN"- is a very old way of saying, to help. - "WITH"- is not apart from, on the side of, in favour of, marked by, or consequence of. - "A"- is an indefinite article. -"LITTLE"- is small in size or extent, short in duration, a small force or effect and limited extent. -"HELP"- is to lend strength to, or a means towards effecting a purpose, to remedy, lend aid and assistance.

This sentence of verse 34 of Daniel's is saying, after some of these things have happened, (of the FALLING) during verse 33, and other things being so stated. At "which time", or just after the moment. "THEY" of the plural peoples, "SHALL" be controlled. Therefore, that which has been said in verse 33, shall come to pass. The destiny of these peoples at this time in history is to die, to drop down and be ruined, and to perish. "THEY" of these peoples, will or "SHALL BE" ruined in many ways, which event has been set in history for them to do so. Nevertheless, to prove to these people that God's "STRENGTH" is with them, "THEY" will obtain "HELP" of some sort, which will be marked by a consequence, and in favour of them. The "HELP" will be a small effect and limited in extent. Again that "HELP" which "THEY" will receive will lend "STRENGTH" to them, to lend them aid and assistance.

We saw in verse 33 that the British Israelite stock, who are fighting in this war "fell", (or died, wounded, and taken prisoner) by the SWORD, FLAME, CAPTIVITY, and by SPOIL, in the lands of Europe. The terrible battles in which this happened are to be found in any history book written about World War I. The memories of which are still emblazoned upon many older peoples today.

The first battles were in Flanders, Belgium, where the names of Ypres, Verdun, Viny ridge, and Mons etc. became known all too soon, and they were fought by men of Joseph's sons, and of the rest of the British tribes of Israel, and his overseas branches. There were eventually 5 major battles of Arras fought with British and Canadian forces. The Australians and New Zealanders making a great name for themselves, fighting with the rest of British sons. These sons of many other names were some of the children of Israel amalgamating under "Joseph's banner". The battles in Belgium in 1914 soon marked the end of fighting in the open ground when men were to learn how to use trench warfare. Ypres was where the Germans used Chlorine gas for the first time, which threw the allies into agonised flight, when men fell blinded.

Then there were the battles of Marne, and the infamous battles of the Somme, which went on for 5 dreadful months of murderous miserable failure, which had begun in July 1916. The first attack of the Somme by the allied soldiers, (who marched at a snail's pace with each man carrying 66 pounds of equipment), were mowed down by the "FLAMES" of the German machine guns, and when the 5 months battle ended there were 420,000 British casualties, 194,000 French, an 440,000 Germans. During 1915-16 there were the battles of Gallipoli and Dardenelles campaign, which was a combined naval and military undertaking. Who were hoping to force their way through the Dardenelles and Bosporus Straits and capture the city of Constantinople from the Turks. The allied landing forces of army and navy consisted of British, Australian, and New Zealand divisions, a French colonial division, and the Assyrian Jewish Refugee Mule Corps. (Here some of the "House of Judah-Jew" has amalgamated under Joseph's banner).

Gallipoli however like the Somme, was a complete and miserable failure, so on December 8th 1916, after very heavy losses of life, French and British governments withdrew the troops from Anzac and Suvla Bay at Gallipoli. The withdrawal, they say, was a military and naval achievement accomplished with minimal losses of men and materials. Though British casualties alone at Gallipoli, were 100,000 killed. -So, men from the British and commonwealth "House of Israel" indeed "FELL".- As the beginning of verse 34 states, and by their thousands wherever they fought, as Daniel tells.

However, when was it that they were "HOLPEN WITH A LITTLE HELP", as Daniel puts it in verse 34? This expression was used for an important purpose indeed. It was to show the "House of Israel" they were entering the last days of their long punishment on earth. -Being punished for their sins because they had left their own God, turning their backs to Him, for the vanities and rituals of men, and for lack of the desire for knowledge.

We must go back to the battleground of Mons in Belgium, where God made "Himself" known to the "House of Israel" and their Germanic cousins. Here we also understand what the strange word "HOLPEN" means. "HOLPEN" as we have understood earlier on, is a very old way of saying, "to help" or to lend "strength" to effecting a purpose and a remedy.

The very first heavy battle for the British against the Germans was at Mons, on August 20 1914, and out of the battles around that time came the story called the "Angels of Mons". -The book, "The First World War", by AJP Taylor says:- "STILL, IT WAS THE FIRST BRITISH BATTLE, AND ALSO THE ONLY ONE WHERE SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTION WAS OBSERVED,MORE OR LESS RELIABLY, ON THE BRITISH SIDE, INDEED THE "ANGELS OF MONS" WERE THE ONLY RECOGNITION OF THE WAR VOUCHSAFED BY THE HIGHER POWERS. SIR JOHN FRENCH THE BRITISH COMMANDER, WAS PLEASED WITH THE BATTLE. HE INTENDED TO STAND FIRM AND FIGHT AGAIN THE NEXT DAY. DURING THE NIGHT HE DISCOVERED HIS PRECARIOUS POSITION. THE FRENCH ARMY ON HIS RIGHT FALLING BACK FAST, AND ON HIS LEFT NO TROOPS AT ALL. THE BRITISH ARMY, TOO, HAD TO RETREAT; FALLING BACK, DAY AFTER DAY, AN EVEN HARDER FEAT OF FOOT SLOGGING THAN THAT ACCOMPLISHED BY THE GERMANS. ON 26TH AUGUST THE BRITISH HAD TO STAND AND FIGHT AGAIN AT LE CATEAU. ONCE MORE THEY HELD THE GERMANS UP AND GOT AWAY. THEN, A MOST EXTRAORDINARY THING, NO FIGHTING FOLLOWED FOR NEARLY TEN DAYS.

We must fill in a little more of the story of the "Angels of Mons" from another book, called, "Strange stories" -Amazing Facts, by Readers Digest. (I write a condensed version). A MONTH AFTER A BITTERLY FOUGHT BATTLE OF MONS IN THE FIRST WORLD WAR, A REPORT APPEARED IN THE LONDON EVENING NEWS WHICH CAUSED A SENSATION AT THE TIME AND HAS CREATED CONTROVERSY EVER SINCE. THE REPORT, BY A WELSH-BORN JOURNALIST AND AUTHOR, ARTHUR MACHEN, TOLD HOW THE TINY BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, OUT NUMBERED BY THREE TO ONE, WERE APPARENTLY SAVED BY HEAVENLY REINFORCEMENTS. THE ANGEL OR ANGELS OF MONS (accounts varied between one and a platoon) SUDDENLY STOOD BETWEEN THEM AND THE GERMANS. UNDERSTANDABLY THE ENEMY FELL BACK IN CONFUSION. THE BATTLE TOOK PLACE ON AUGUST 26TH 1914. -IN MAY THE FOLLOWING YEAR A CLERGYMAN'S DAUGHTER AT CLIFTON, BRISTOL, PUBLISHED ANONYMOUSLY IN A PARISH MAGAZINE, WHAT SHE CLAIMED WAS A SWORN STATEMENT BY A BRITISH OFFICER. IN IT THE OFFICER SAID, THAT WHILE HIS COMPANY WAS IN RETREAT FROM MONS, A UNIT OF GERMAN CAVALRY CAME RAPIDLY AFTER THEM. HE MADE FOR A PLACE WHERE THE COMPANY MIGHT STAND AND FIGHT-BUT THE GERMANS GOT THERE FIRST. EXPECTING ALMOST CERTAIN DEATH, THE BRITISH TURNED AND SAW TO THEIR ASTONISHMENT A TROOP OF ANGELS BETWEEN THEM AND THE ENEMY. THE GERMAN HORSES WERE TERRIFIED AND STAMPEDED IN ALL DIRECTIONS. -AN ARMY CHAPLAIN,- RECORDED SIMILAR ACCOUNTS FROM A BRIGADIER-GENERAL AND TWO OF HIS OFFICERS. A LIEUTENANT-COLONEL DESCRIBED HOW DURING THE RETREAT, HIS BATTALION WAS ESCORTED FOR 20 MINUTES BY A SQUADRON OF PHANTOM CAVALRY. FROM THE GERMAN SIDE CAME AN ACCOUNT THAT THEIR MEN REFUSED TO CHARGE A POINT WHERE THE BRITISH LINE WAS BROKEN BECAUSE OF THE PRESENCE OF A LARGE NUMBER OF TROOPS. ACCORDING TO ALLIED RECORDS, THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE BRITISH SOLDIER IN THE AREA.

WHAT IS NOTABLE ABOUT ALL THE MONS REPORTS IS THAT NOT ONE OF THEM IS FIRST HAND. IN EACH CASE, THE OFFICERS FROM WHOM THE REPORTS ORIGINATED WISHED TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS, FEELING THAT THEY MIGHT BE ACCUSED OF HAVING AN OVERACTIVE IMAGINATION- A POSSIBLE HINDRANCE TO PROMOTION.-

WHATEVER THE EXPLANATION, THE BRITISH DID ACHIEVE SOMETHING LIKE A MIRACLE. DESPITE OVERWHELMING ODDS AND HEAVY CASUALTIES, THE RETREAT WAS SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMPLISHED AND THE B.E.F. REMAINED AN EFFECTIVE FIGHTING FORCE".

The "angels of Mons" during World War I, seems complicated, and to some a questionable story yet! It has in it the seeds of the stuff that turn men's hearts to God and victory. Secular history also tells us, the first major battle of August 14, 1914, fought at Mons, had the British troops holding back a numerically superior German force. Fighting with an amazing ferocity, the pressure however eventually became too great for them, and to avoid being trapped by the Germans made an orderly withdrawal, though very successful they suffered very heavy losses. The Germans were overwhelmed by the marksmanship of British rifles with rapid-fire techniques, who thought they were facing British machine guns. The British forces also had the capability of throwing up earth ramparts to protect themselves in moments, even in exposed places, making it difficult for the Germans to see them. From this overwhelming way the British fought at Mons against a superior German army, -and so the story goes,- that same British army was under protection by an uncanny force of angels, which began they say, with Arthur Machen's story.

Another account I have read of that ghostly army at Mons, contained a shining line of Agincourt archers with bows drawn, who cut down the advancing Germans, shielding the British troops as they did so. Even though Arthur Machen's story made such an immediate effect on the public, and as some say, the ghostly archers were eventually changed to angels. The British public had been made aware that God was on their side, which was felt from the King to the commoner. Many picture postcards circulating at that time, assured the country their boys were enlisting under the sign of the cross, endorsed by Saint George the patron saint of England.

Even British government policy played a large part, in creating myths for the people to swallow, which helped bear their grief and anguish at loosing so many of their loved ones. It all helped to teach them to hate the Germans, so they could go to war and kill them. It was but a short year or two previously that the people had welcomed, and cheered Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany, the cousin of King George V, who now was their enemy. This Christian commonwealth of Israel needed men to fight and die in the European trenches. So, the "Angels of Mons", is indeed "seen" and "unseen" spirits of angels amongst men, persuading men's minds that God was "there" with the "House of Israel", helping them during their hours of need.

In the dimensions of space and time of secular history, God's servants and messengers indeed walk in the world of men, unseen to the human eye at times. Yet! Their presence felt in the thoughts and hearts of mankind in times of dire needs; Assuring them that indeed they were "HOLPEN WITH A LITTLE HELP," as Daniel foretells.

These various excerpts of arguments on the "Angels of Mons" reminds me of the arguments I have read these days. Over the questionable reality of the "parting of the Red Sea" through Moses by God. Many peoples refuse, to accept that the water of that sea stood up as a wall, each side of the children of Israel who were crossing it dry footed at that time. People prefer to reason it away, having the Israelites of old paddling across the water through the shallow marshy Sea of Reeds instead. All because a supernatural happening has occurred, and they can't accept it. We people indeed have become or grown into cynical creatures!

Today, towards the twenty first century, we are also faced with another supernatural phenomenon, which we call UFO's some people see them, some do not, and those who see them are afraid to speak out because of ridicule.

Again, man is afraid to acknowledge the supernatural. It will always be this way with many people, because they are more afraid of other men's tongues, than sometimes believing in a childlike fashion that God's presence was "there" in history, through some medium or another. Then accepting many peculiar happenings in faith as a child, quite normally!

God's angels of spirits and ministers are the schemers, the influences, and the persuaders in secular and biblical histories of mankind, they do not directly interfere with man's free will, unless absolutely necessary. Because secular history through its time zones, has already been set and recorded to take place as spoken by God. Through the prophets these happenings have been recorded by, such as Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, etc. which our God has spoken and ordained it to be so. Isaiah 46-verses 8 to 12. "REMEMBER THIS, AND SHEW YOURSELVES MEN; BRING IT AGAIN TO MIND, O YE TRANSGRESSORS". Verse 10:- "DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, AND FROM ANCIENT TIMES THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT YET DONE, SAYING, MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND, AND I WILL DO ALL MY PLEASURE". Verse 12:- "HEARKEN UNTO ME, YE STOUT-HEARTED, THAT ARE FAR FROM RIGHTEOUSNESS".

In the Oracles of Daniel, we have read of God's declaring the "End" of history from the "Beginning," why then count the supernatural as a strange thing, when it has governed our lives! Daniel in chapter 10 shows how angels indeed are at the battles of men, and how someone like Daniel, "saw" those angels, others did not.

Here at the "Battle of Mons" we can safely assume the children of Israel were shown to be protected under Joseph's "banner" in the sight of God, and for the fulfilment of prophecy. Though many were to lose their lives, it was as Joseph's blessing from Genesis 49 tells. "THE ARCHERS HAVE SORELY GRIEVED HIM, AND SHOT AT HIM, AND HATED HIM. -BUT HIS BOW ABODE IN "STRENGTH". -EVEN BY THE GOD OF THY FATHER, "WHO SHALL HELP THEE". Note the last words well reader, it says loud and clear, "WHO SHALL HELP THEE".

Daniel said, "THEY SHALL BE HOLPEN WITH A LITTLE HELP". The Lord God "did" as He promised, just a "LITTLE HELP" HE gave them at Mons, and other moments during that war, so why should we count these things as strange? Daniel 11:34 spells out a "LITTLE HELP" in World War I in two ways. The first part of the verse has "HELP" (HOLPEN) at the beginning of that war of "MANY DAYS", during 1914. The second lot of "HELP" comes towards the end of those many days during 1918, because the word "FLATTERIES" is pertaining to that end time. Verse 34 in other words is describing for us God's "intervention" once more in the "end time" of man's history, which from here on will be shown to us all in no uncertain terms! Verse 34 then is another "facet" of World War I.

God also helped the nations of Israel fighting the Great War in another way. "He" brought about "confusion" in the lands of their enemies, and their uneasy ally Russia. History records Russia had its own hands full with internal revolution, therefore pulled out of the war. Around this time the United States of America (1917). -Joseph's other "BRANCH", Manasseh,- joined the amalgamation of tribes under Joseph's banner. Thereby completing their "STRENGTH" in God's blessing for Joseph. The 12 sons of Jacob/Israel's BRANCHES (including the Jew) were completed through the USA joining, now it was time for them to win this war!

The Great War was not ended with one side soundly beating the other, or by demolishing the people and the cities within Germany, which happened in the Second World War. The "HELP" came through turmoil, revolution, starvation, chaos, and flu, and with an unwillingness to fight on within Germany itself. Which weakened the ability of their leaders and peoples to fight with enthusiasm. With hindsight, secular history records this steady revolt within Germany, at that time however outwardly Germany seemed strong and her Generals at times better than the Allies. But internally there was a different picture being recorded. Before we proceed with a short record of Germany's demise, let us be reminded of verse 34 of Daniel 11. We have seen that the sentence says. "NOW WHEN THEY SHALL FALL, THEY (all Israel) SHALL BE HOLPEN WITH A LITTLE HELP". Within this sentence the "HELP" comes "twice" - once HOLPEN- once HELP. This is Scripture's way of hiding secrets, some words are stressed singular, some plural, or perhaps meanings hidden in a line. We have already seen this sort of thing in words such as "he" shall do such and such, or "they" shall do such and such. Reading these simple words without thought can mean they work out quite differently and when aligned with other words.

I have already told you reader that the Angels of God are the schemers and influences within men's history. They "have" to be! Thus making sure that the secular history set "from the beginning" works, and comes to pass. Because mans "freewill" in his own history can alter that prophecy drastically. The prophets of old, such as Daniel, etc. have given to man pictures -or- visions of historical happenings covering centuries, which are ordained by God that it should be so. Therefore, it must come to pass, it "cannot" do otherwise!

In Daniel 11:34 we have the word "HELP" twice. It could have been written only once such as, "now when they shall fall, they shall be helped". The sentence is plural however tying up the basics of the beginning and the end of the Great War, within biblical prophecy, and leading man to think of the supernatural or things happening that are unexplainable.

The second lot of "HELP" for the Allies that the angels of God set in motion, was within Germany itself. Sowing "confusion" for them which "HELPED" British Israel to win that war. The "strength" of another type promised to Joseph during this time, transfused "vitality" into the veins of the tribes of the British Israelites. The new blood was from the United States of America -or- Manasseh was now entering the Great War. The "confusion" brought about by God within Germany to bring the killing within those "MANY DAYS", prophesied to an end, secular history will list for one to read. In June 1917 there was a terrible drought within German lands, with harvest failure and consequently great reduction in bread rations for the people. Many agitators incited the "end of the war" and down with the government, bringing about a strike in the vital Kiel shipping yards. Revolution began to creep through Germany, and Austria, warning them they were about to collapse. The Kaiser's conduct during those times of food rations even shocked court circles, because he had continual banquets when famine ruled his people outside the royal court. By August 1917 the Naval fleet had several mutinies, refusal of orders, hunger strikes, mass desertions, with several sailors shot in consequence, and acts of sabotage. The acute coal shortage, which prevailed for a long time, grew worse, and complaints to the Kaiser were ignored. Within the government the role of the Chancellor changed several times. The whole German army though still fighting "at the front", lost confidence in their government. By 1918 the strikes had spread to Berlin, but the Kaiser went on enjoying himself, and the atmosphere around government circles was unbearable. The Austrian army was starving with bread rations cut again. Once more around June 1918 another terrible drought within the lands of Germany, the Ukraine etc. By August 1918 the German army mutinied, and the Kaiser's reputation with his people hit rock bottom, because he refused to face the realities of the situation. In September 1918, Austria-Hungary collapsed; In September the Bulgarian army collapsed. During September, the dreadful Influenza Epidemic had broken out in the German and Western armies, but had no bad effect in the field, it was the people who mostly suffered. The Bavarian and Saxon divisions of the German army surrendered to the allies. By October 1918 within Germany, the Kaiser had been given the blame by his own people for starting the war thus calling for his abdication. By November the fleet mutinied and refused to raid the English coast, and revolution in all walks of German life was the order of the day. November 9 -1918, the Kaiser and the Crown Prince abdicated which brought an end to that war.

To many people Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany has gone down in secular history as a nightmare figure of past German Imperialism. Who was a megalomaniac responsible for the holocaust of the 1914-18 war. Daniel's prophecies in verse 32,33,34, have also shown the Kaiser in a very poor light indeed.

We have also seen that none of the "turmoil" within Germany could have been achieved by Britain and her allies. Because they had no control over the Kaiser's whims, nor over the disintegration of its peoples, nor over the weather, which brought loss of harvests and starvation.

Here indeed was the hand of God "HELPING" the tribes of Israel, just as verse 34 says. We must never count this "ANGELIC HELP" as a strange thing. Remembering always, there are many excerpts within Holy Scripture in which God has sent his angels to "Help" Israel survive, when they were in great trouble, in their chequered history. - For Joseph's sake it is also performed.

As an example the "House of Israel" was in trouble in ancient times with the Assyrians, -and Isaiah 37:36 - tells us, how the Angel of the Lord brought death and turmoil, in one night, into the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 men. So, in 1914-18 God took pity on British Israel's children as prophesied!

We go now to the last line of Daniel 11:34. "BUT MANY SHALL CLEAVE TO THEM WITH FLATTERIES". Unravelling the two words "CLEAVE", and "FLATTERIES", means:- 1:- "CLEAVE"- means to stick, to adhere, to be attached or cling, (both in the figurative -or- literal sense), to be united in interest. 2:- "CLEAVE" also means to divide by force, to split, or hew apart, as to cleave asunder wood or rock etc.

Again, we have the word "FLATTERIES" meaning:- to praise falsely, or to gain favour etc. We have already read of the "wicked prince" who corrupted by "FLATTERIES" in verse 33 of Daniel chapter 11, which was Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany. Verse 34 is now dealing with "MANY" people using "FLATTERIES". So, the question arises for what purpose do these "MANY" people use these two words "CLEAVE" and "FLATTERIES", and when did they use both? And who are "THEM" of this verse? "THEM" of course pertain to the "Israelite tribes," within British stock, especially Joseph's 2 branches Ephraim (England), and Manasseh (United States of America). We are still dealing with the end of the Great War 1914-18, and we come to the word "Armistice". Which meant a truce for a short time for all nations.

History now moves along this aftermath of horror, bloodshed, and exhaustion, to look around and take stock of the nations referred to by Daniel as the "MANY". They were of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Commonwealth countries, and these "MANY" were in confusion. The victors and the vanquished of the Great War, were reeling under exhaustion, revolution, destruction of life and possessions, starvation, impoverishment, and disease. Four great Empires had crashed, Russia, Turkey, Germany, and Austria-Hungary. (The Eagles had been cast down to the ground).

With 20 countries old and new fixing their borders, or having them fixed by the dominant powers, which were then the British Commonwealth of nations, United States of America and France. These "MANY" peoples of the world turned to the then "policeman" of its time, -the British Empire.- Asking them to do their duty once more and give help and direction. "FLATTERING" the British ego with the request. This indeed was a tall order when the British Empire herself had incurred a debt of fabulous proportions and was very tired and mourned her dead.

The two meanings of the word "CLEAVE", which we have unravelled in verse 34, are both used by the "MANY"countries" during their "FLATTERIES" of 1918-19. The paramount version of the word "CLEAVE" came about with the Treaty of Versailles in France, which name became a festering sore and was to break out many years later in secular history. This version of "CLEAVE" indeed split asunder and divided Germany and its allies (Central Powers) by force. To the Germans the "Treaty" was an unbearable burden thrust upon them, because it imposed the responsibility of the war upon them. They faced the loss of all colonial possessions, losses of land in Europe, from France, and Poland, etc. Germany was to pay material reparations and millions of gold marks over a long period of years. Which caused great hardships and bankrupt sections of the peoples within that country.

Britain felt she had a duty to fulfil that role of "policeman" asked of her from the European powers, beyond her own special interests. She had entered the war to curb wanton ambitions in others, and the world still expected her to champion that justice for all. Indeed the "FLATTERIES" from other nations boosted her ego, but it was a false praise. The other nations making use of Britain, gaining her favour, and looking for their promised rewards.

We come now to the second interpretation of the word "CLEAVE", which largely involved both "branches" of Joseph's sons again. (Ephraim and Manasseh). Peace was signed in Paris in 1919, and it was kept throughout the confidence of British and United States influence. The "CLEAVING" together of these warring European nations, or the "uniting of interests" and "adhering together", brought about the League of Nations approx. 1921, centred in Geneva Switzerland. President Woodrow Wilson of the USA (Manasseh) took a foremost part in forming that same league. (Which was also suggested by General Smuts of South Africa). In these "MANY" peoples "CLEAVING" together and hailing the "League" as an instrument of everlasting peace for all. They hoped their international disputes went to arbitration instead of war. The major allied nations at the Paris Peace Conference (1919-20) were Prime Minister Lloyd George of Great Britain, Prime Minister Georges Clemenceau of France, Prime Minister Orlando of Italy, and President Wilson of the United States. The various Peace treaties signed between various warring nations was the Treaty of Versailles (Germany). The treaty of Saint Germain (Austria). The Treaty of Neuilly (Bulgaria). The treaty of Trianon (Hungary). The Treaty of Sevres (Turkey). The United States signed a separate peace treaty with Germany in 1921, calling for the creation of an association of nations. The peace treaties were swallowed with great bitterness of injustice on the part of the belligerent countries, and that violent anger remained with them to flare up again into World War II. The "MANY FLATTERED" President Woodrow Wilson, (Joseph's son Manasseh, with a great enthusiastic welcome. But when the President returned to his own country, it refused to be a member of the same "League", opening the door to isolation once more. It was therefore left to Britain to make the terms of peace work in Europe, though, there was much wrangling over German borders, of disarmament, and of German war debts.

The dual usage of the word "CLEAVE" is a good one, because it sums up well the jealous desires adulation, and cajolery towards the British and USA status. The nations passions ran high for their self-interests, which were being kept in check only by the influence of Britain. Other nations "MANY FLATTERIES" were used towards Britain and the USA for their own gain, to give them time to readjust until they didn't need any of British-Israel's influence, or her sons anymore.

After the Great War the British Empire became decentralised, and the dominions were now in a position of self-ruling, no more to be subordinate one to another, though united under Ephraim's crown -George V-. The League of Nations said, this was to be their common meeting place for reconciliation, and that it would put an end to war. Of course, they failed to prevent the Second World War 20 years later, prophesied by Daniel. Because, those "seeds" for the second war had already been sown! Before we end Daniel 11:34, I must impress upon you reader that the secular history we are continually reading is not divorced in any way from Biblical history; They walk hand in hand with each different prophet filling "in" for us one more piece of that enormous picture. Every prophecy cross checks the other during their allotted time zones in history. All one must achieve, is to find the "pivot point" upon which it all balances.

So, let us read what the prophet Hosea has to say about historical times of the "House of Israel" especially. Hosea in many verses gives one a picture of the nature of worldly Ephraim, (past and present), and of the tribes of Israel within British stock everywhere in the world. Who are more and still, entrenched in those same evil ways today. Hosea wrote of these nations centuries ago, yet! It is as if he were peeping into present history of our day and "seeing" the people as we see them. Within Hosea is also explained once more the picture of words Daniel uses "THEM OF UNDERSTANDING" of the ruling classes, when the crown of England under George V, was on the head of Ephraim's son. Hosea wrote "after" the capture of the people of the "House of Israel" -(or Northern Kingdom)- into Assyria approx. started 730 BC to 722 BC. Hosea 4:17. "EPHRAIM IS JOINED TO IDOLS; (or excessive attachment, or worship of anything which is not of God), LET HIM ALONE". (Or don't touch him).

Hosea 5:1-15.
Verse 1:- "HEAR YE THIS O PRIESTS; AND HEARKEN, YE HOUSE OF ISRAEL (British stock) AND GIVE YE EAR, O HOUSE OF THE KING; (Jesus is their King, and hear earthly nobles and court circles) FOR JUDGEMENT IS TOWARDS YOU, (Because they had knowledge and understanding, and the priests and kings led the people into whoredom). BECAUSE YE HAVE BEEN A SNARE (An entanglement into unexpected evil). ON MIZPAH AND A NET SPREAD (Or cunning devices) UPON TABOR". -("Mizpah" means:- a "watchtower", which was a cairn of stones at Jabbok. Which was set as a "witness" of a special thing, that God is the "Watcher" of these covenant parties.

-"Tabor" means:- a mountain in the territory of the tribe of Issachar, a notable mountain in the northeast corner of the Valley of Jezreel, joined by a ridge to Nazareth. Some biblical students say was the place of Christ's transfiguration)? In other words, Hosea's verse says, God has "Watched" and witnessed the way the "covenant peoples" parties, of the houses of "understanding" have destroyed those who were put under them. Because they made strange laws to make the people live by, on pain of death, imprisonment, or fines. These upper ruling classes led the people to do evil. Therefore, Tabor keeps "watch" upon the coming end of our history, and the foretold events that are to happen in the Valley of Jezreel. (See- Jezreel, Hosea 1:10,11). Hosea 5:3. "I KNOW EPHRAIM, AND ISRAEL IS NOT HID FROM ME; FOR NOW O EPHRAIM,THOU COMMITTEST WHOREDOM AND ISRAEL IS DEFILED".

Verse 4:- "THEY WILL NOT FRAME THEIR DOINGS TO TURN UNTO THEIR GOD, FOR THE SPIRIT OF WHOREDOMS IS IN THE MIDST OF THEM, AND THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN THE LORD". These verses sum up the problem within the "House of Israel" -or- British stock, around the world, even to this very day in the twentieth century. The verses say, God is fully aware of Ephraim, where his children are, where they rest, who they are, what became of them, what their role in secular history of mankind has been, and "why" Ephraim is looked upon in such a manner by God. Ephraim is the beloved Joseph's son, and as a "second son" is God's choice, and on Ephraim's natural head was placed the crown blessed by the hand of God. They are within the laws of understanding and leadership within the other 10 tribes of the "House of Israel".

This Northern Kingdom of the "House of Israel" went into captivity into Assyria, and onwards through nations. Hosea spelled out in prophecy its forthcoming years within secular history, and how that "house" might be hidden from mankind. Who have only referred to them as the 10 lost tribes. However, from God not one of them is hidden! When Ephraim went through the nations of the earth, especially into the Germanic tribes of nations, he became cruel, fierce, hard, and was subject to and filled with paganism, which was all tied up in his lust for power. Instead, his desire should have been towards the delight of knowing the truth about his ancestral path, and his God. Ephraim's House of children were head and ruler of the other Israelite tribes, he was made responsible for the evil within the tribes that were put under him. When God says in Hosea 5:4 "THEY WILL NOT FRAME THEIR DOINGS TO TURN TO THEIR GOD". He is telling us all "why" our nations are evil in all forms of whoredom. When one frames something, one uses it for effect. It is something that is strong, bold, excellent to accomplish, it is to construct by fitting together several parts for unification of anything, even bodily structures. To "FRAME" therefore, is that which has a state of mind and disposition to hold the people firm in "understanding" and accomplish what is expected of one.

So, God says of Ephraim, that he was given a place of honour and understanding within the nation of Israel. However, he did "not" fit himself to become strong and excellent in unification in the people towards his God. But rather he gave himself over to pleasurable sins, towards their own vanities of "understanding" within the courts of men. Ephraim, within British Israelite stock are fitted in their governing parliaments in unification, never bothering to know the Lord God, The Most Holy One of Israel. To the people in the twentieth century "He" is a laughingstock, or an old-fashioned anathema!

Hosea 5:5. "AND THE PRIDE OF ISRAEL DOTH TESTIFY TO HIS FACE; THEREFORE SHALL ISRAEL AND EPHRAIM FALL IN THEIR INIQUITY; JUDAH ALSO SHALL FALL WITH THEM". When Hosea wrote this verse, the "House of Israel" of the 10 tribes were almost all carried into Assyria, and on into oblivion. The "House of Judah" of the Southern Kingdom had yet to fall under the Chaldeans. This chapter 5 of Hosea is a "lament", for both houses and especially for those 10 tribes going towards those long wandering years through oncoming civilisation. Into the future oncoming, causing confusion of face and still on into our day into the twenty first century.

These things were to happen before, the regathering of the tribes at the end of secular history, and of the elect children within them, whom the Lord shall call! The "House of Israel", prior to the time of Hosea's capture, had much pride in the "House of Omri" and their King Ahab, speaking proudly of his palace of ivory. The same pride of Israel is echoed in modern secular history of its palaces, of their rich possessions, and of the past dignity and glory of its princes and nobles. Within its very speech Israel has said, in the past "Britain ruled the waves, and America's pride was in its homespun religious voice, and both agreed "God's in his heaven and all's right for them and their worlds". But modern-day Israel's pride has taken a large tumble recently, because their governing power is waning and falling. It has lost quite a lot of its face of autocratic arrogance. Which it also did during the days of Assyrian captivity. British stock in many nations around the world have fallen in influence and will continue to fall despite their affluent looks. Because of their own iniquities, their evil ways are paramount for nothing evil is kept in check, all iniquities pander to their own so-called freedoms and rights. They have forgotten their Maker, neither do they seek after "Him" in honest truth, because there are always "conditions" put forward for their learning, from their own warped understanding of Him.

Judah, of the "House of Judah" (the Jew) also went into captivity, but with God always holding them together through the centuries identifiable as Jews. Today, God has kept his promises to them, that they should possess their possessions in the land of Israel. However, they too will have their on-coming share of trouble, because the God of our Fathers is only secondary to the Jew. Their first thoughts are either for their vanities of temporal power, or the state of fabled orthodoxy. Hosea in chapter 5, goes on to explain this dreadful situation from verses 9 to 15. Explaining what we "all" have to "do" as children of both Houses of Israel. We have to "acknowledge" we have left off searching for "real truth", replacing that "precious thing" for man-made fables, and therefore, have lost our leadership, which comes from God.

Read all the book of Hosea, and it will describe Ephraim and the tribes in great detail. Which to the contrite heart would bring tears to the eyes, because the "lament" for Ephraim is so sad! That same Ephraim today cannot see prophetic truth for himself, despite all his great secular knowledge. Because British stock look into our Heavenly Father's Law with fixed ideas and with hard hearts. A cynical smirk of sympathy is on faces towards those that do "see"!

Remember reader what we have already, learned of the PRIDE and Flatteries of the kings and princely nobles of Britain's former glory during Victorian times, which we read of in verse 32 of Daniel chapter 11.

Hosea looks at that same glory today, and we see British glory diminished into a second-rate country, trying hard to lift its arrogant nose out of the mess it's in. It is bogged down in many forms of strife, it has racial problems, and social problems, where once none existed. They have mixed themselves up in affairs of other nations that have left them without absolute authority in their own land. Britain has become old and tired, and as Hosea 7:9 tells, "GREY HAIRS ARE UPON ITS HEAD". Hosea 9:11, "THEIR GLORY SHALL FLY AWAY LIKE A BIRD".

The people are pleasure bound and lazy, they say they don't need God anymore. Their judgement and laws say they don't need guidelines from God, their schools say so, their sciences say so. Even a great bulk of their priests say so, being bogged down in long held beliefs. Some of them believing only small parts of the word of God are probably true yet! Ephraim was "REDEEMED" by Jesus their Lord, who are supposed to be Christians! Hosea 7:13. The Israelite "tribes" have unleashed every contradictory law against the laws of God. Their sexual appetites overwhelming them even into that same priesthood. Both Manasseh (USA) and Ephraim (within British stock) say they are God fearing nations, many paying lip service to the Holy One in their lives. All the things that Hosea has written are an indictment against Israel, past and present and that indictment one can read in the Book of Hosea. There are so very many verses from Scripture that can fill in the whole sordid picture of British Israelite stock. Unless you, who belong to these Israelite nations start forgetting you belong to this church, or that sect, and undo the strange chains of rules that bind you therein, which limits the desire for you to seek knowledge, you will never understand our Heavenly Father's words in complete wisdom!
