Genesis 49:27, "BENJAMIN SHALL RAVIN AS A WOLF; IN THE MORNING HE SHALL DEVOUR THE PREY, AND AT NIGHT HE SHALL DIVIDE THE SPOIL". Benjamin's blessing is a continually changing one throughout history. Benjamin being always hidden and covered by the Lord God within both nations of Israel, during his walk in life, ancient and modern. (Deuteronomy 33:12).What Benjamin's tribe does, and has done is carried out with stealth, cunning, wisdom, and in secret.

Genesis 49:27 tells us the "nature" of Benjamin first and foremost. To "raven as a wolf" means to go plundering about, to prowl and eat voraciously.

A "wolf" is a carnivorous animal akin to a dog, who is swift of foot, intelligent, crafty, and voracious. When the term is used for a person, that person is considered to be very cunning.

Put all these words together describing Benjamin's role in history, and we have a very involved character to deal with.

The ferocity of Benjamin's nature within the tribes, that of a wolf, we can read in the story of cruelty used by the men of Benjamin, towards a concubine in Israel. In the book of Judges 19,20 and 21. Which culminated into a fight to the death between the tribes of Israel at that time. The story tells us, through the great cunning of the tribe of Benjamin, that they chose 700 left-handed men who were capable of slinging stones within a hairs breathe, and not miss its advancing enemy. They also had twenty-six thousand men that drew the sword who were men of war. When they faced the other tribes of Israel on the first day, they destroyed twenty-two thousand men. The second day the Benjamites killed 18,000 men of the tribes. The third day Benjamin killed some of the tribes, but were also lured away from their city, so that the children of Israel caught Benjamin's children off guard, and that day the destruction of the Benjamites was 25,000 -one hundred men.

Benjamin's role within the ancient tribes of Israel as young child, and as a man, was always one of protection for him. No matter what the agony of heart for others who concerned themselves with him.
He was born at the expense of the life of his mother Rachel, who had called him Benoni, "son of my sorrow", (Genesis 35:18). Jacob however changing his name to Benjamin, meaning; "son of my right hand". In the spirit of love for Rachel, Jacob/Israel tenderly consoled her tears with a change of a word. Also strengthened Benjamin's position amongst his sons in the scheme of things.

When Benjamin grew into a young man, his brother, -by the same parents- Joseph when he was in Egypt, yearned to see Israel's youngest son.

It was Judah, though being the 4th son of Jacob, within biblical history, made himself responsible for the life of Benjamin. Though in Genesis 42:37-38, Reuben -the first born- offered to take responsibility for Benjamin giving his own 2 sons as security to his father Jacob, for Benjamin's life in Egypt. Jacob/Israel however refused his offer saying, "my son shall not go down with you". Apart from Jacob not trusting Reuben from past mistakes, the refusal had to be so. To keep the patterns of the Law, within the "House of Israel". (Simeon had already been held in prison as a hostage by Joseph, pending the return of Joseph's family of tribes into Egypt).

Again, the duality of the law is kept, because the offer for Benjamin's safety is offered twice, once by Reuben for the "House of Israel", and once by Judah for the "House of Judah". This is another endorsement for each lineage to follow the threads of 2 individual prophetic pictures through the Scriptures up to this present day.

Benjamin is also divided in two roles within prophecy.

1:- Benjamin is in the league with Judah (Jew) under the law of the flesh.

2:- Benjamin's "spirit" however is in the "House of Israel" with his brother Joseph.

Carried to them by Paul a Jew to Joseph's seed into the Gentiles,- Judah's offer of being responsible for Benjamin's life, Jacob/Israel accepted.

(Genesis 43:8-9).
Verse 9:- "I WILL BE SURETY FOR HIM; OF MY HAND SHALT THOU REQUIRE HIM; IF I BRING HIM NOT UNTO THEE, AND SET HIM BEFORE THEE, THEN LET ME BEAR THE BLAME FOR EVER";

So, Judah's accepted vow has gone surety for Benjamin all through the centuries of their history, and the amalgamation was complete within the "House of Judah" - (1Kings 12:19-23).

In the story of Benjamin going down into Egypt, we see in Genesis 45:25-28, that Judah returned to his father Jacob with joyous news, Joseph is alive! Simeon was released, and Benjamin was safe. The exhilaration was almost too much for Jacob/Israel.

So, the "second time" of returning from Egypt brought joyous news.

That joyous news will be repeated the "second time" to the House of Judah in modern times, -as it was in ancient times,- Joseph's power is alive and all the tribes will come out of "Egypt of the nations".

We must now understand that we have also read in the New Testament of Benjamin's son, with that nature of a wolf. Acting out that cunning during the times of the Roman Empire, almost 2,000 years ago, and his name was Saul/Paul. The dual mixed wolf like role foreseen for Saint Paul of Benjamin, was set into place centuries before in prophecy, in Genesis 45:22. "TO ALL OF THEM HE (Joseph) GAVE EACH MAN CHANGES OF RAIMENT; BUT TO BENJAMIN HE GAVE THREE HUNDRED PIECES OF SILVER, AND FIVE CHANGES OF RAIMENT".

Paul as Benjamin's heir was to be honoured in the Gentile nations, just as his ancestor was in Egypt long ago. He, being a great guiding force filling men's minds and hearts with magnificent words. His "right" for this task was set in motion by Joseph.

Then through Jesus, when these persons were fulfilling the dual role of power in biblical prophecy. Genesis 45/22 the "patterns" of the law works this way.

Saul/Paul -son of Benjamin was given "5 changes of raiment".

Raiment number 1:- Born Saul, a Jew and a Benjamite. (Philippians 3:5); and Israelite/Hebrew.

Raiment number 2:- A Roman citizen and free born. (Acts 22:25-29).

Raiment number 3:- Of the strict sect of the Pharisee, and persecutor of the Christians. (Spoke Greek)- Acts 26:5.

Raiment number 4:- Was converted to Christianity, baptised into Christ by Ananias, (Acts 9:17-18).

Raiment number 5:- A "chosen vessel" sent abroad into the Gentiles and the children of Israel, now called Paul. (Acts 9:15).

Paul has now been divided into 2 persons, his flesh is a Jew, his spirit however is a Christian. Son of the holy seed of the Jew called "the daughter of Jerusalem". That same one man is Saul/Paul (Acts 13:9).

This person Saul/Paul was to have another "raiment" dropped at his feet, which was to be a prophetic act towards his martyrdom. It happened at the stoning of Stephen to death, who being the first martyr of Christendom, (Acts 7:58-59).

The 5 changes of raiment given to Benjamin's heir, Paul, were each used by him when the need arose, sometimes with great ferocity of a wolf, and at times with crafty wisdom and zeal. For instance, during his journeys within Greece his "wolfly cunning" was seen in the occasion to teach the people about the "Unknown God" at Mars Hill in Athens, to whom they had raised an altar. The people being superstitious at leaving any God out of their worship. (Acts 17:22-33).

Paul used his Roman citizenship with "cunning", to get himself out of many a scrape within that Empire. (Acts 22:25-29).

He used his coat as a Pharisee with cunning in order to be heard before the priests. (Acts 23:6).

Paul/Saul had been a terrible marauding wolf in his early life, howling with the pack, and hunting the blood of the just of Israel, when he persecuted his fellow man. As Genesis blessing for Benjamin says, he killed or caught his prey in the morning, then gave his spoil to the priests in the evening. Indeed, his carnivorous appetite as a wolf made him swift and vicious.

When he became an apostle of Christ people were afraid of him. His own remembrance of his past, and the stench of his conscience troubles him in later life, which was to drive him relentlessly on, always trying to blot out that obstacle to his peace of mind.

Paul was fully aware of his own "crafty" nature, (2 Corinthians 12:16).- These then are Benjamin/Paul's 5 changes of raiment within secular/biblical histories.

What of the 300 pieces of silver given to Benjamin/Paul from Genesis 45:22, and what does it imply?

The 300 pieces of silver were used for the cost of 3 great journeys farther and farther away from the Holy Land and on into Europe. -Some people say Paul went even to Spain, and perhaps the British Isles?

Paul set out on each of his 3 journeys with the Holy Spirit directing his path this way and that. Ever seeking the "lost sheep of the House of Israel", who were swallowed up in the Gentiles. He went also to converts of other nations. (Hosea 8:8).

Paul took those people into the arms of Christ both Jew and Gentile, who looked for something better than the world offered!

The "dishonoured" bride of Israel was out in the Roman Empire somewhere, and Paul had to pay the "price" for them to help them clear their name.

Again, we must remember both houses of Israel, as biblical Scripture shows were scattered and peeled in the nations. The 10 tribes of the "House of Israel" were lost to mankind. They were submerged, as it were, under nations, becoming strangers in strange lands! Amongst these 2 houses of Israel/Judah, was the dishonoured bride of Christ called the "daughter of Zion", and the "daughter of Jerusalem". It was to their spirits that Paul had opened and called, who were then able to hear the words of Scripture with clarity. These children had gone from much cruelty, then languished with contrite hearts amongst the nations wherein they found themselves. Some were a retiring people who had behaved in a quiet manner, been pulled out of shape as it were, through the machinations of nations. In other words they possessed the tokens of their virginity, of which the law speaks, (Psalm 131), and it remains so to this day.

Saint Paul's ever widening 3 journeys into the western nations were "paid" by him through his past mistakes. The "old law" had set his price of "guilt" for giving the bride an evil name by searching out his victories. So, Paul had to find the bride of Israel, so she might be vindicated and the tokens of her virginity acknowledged.

Benjamin's son Paul, had to go out into the world, and through the spirit was given for his work 5 raiment's and 300 pieces of silver. Which would enable him to complete his task. Seeking those children in the west, because she was being pushed together and preserved by Joseph's power through God, in that direction. So, this took Paul along the roads of Greece, and Rome etc, or along the routes of traffic and trade.

The British Isles eventually taking those people in and housing the tribes gleaned from other nations and drawing them across the English Channel to safety.

The patterns in the "old law" were set down in (Deuteronomy 22:13-19) which gave Paul 300 pieces of silver to help buy back the "virgin of Israel" and each of the 3 journeys Paul made would cost 100 pieces of silver. Both Joseph and Jesus had paid the bride price.

Deuteronomy 22:13-19. "IF ANY MAN TAKE A WIFE, AND GO IN UNTO HER AND HATE HER".
Verse 14:- "AND GIVE OCCASIONS OF SPEECH AGAINST HER, AND BRING UP AN EVIL NAME UPON HER, AND SAY, I TOOK THIS WOMAN, AND WHEN I CAME TO HER, I FOUND HER NOT A MAID".
Verse 15:- "THEN SHALL THE FATHER OF THE DAMSEL, AND HER MOTHER, TAKE AND BRING FORTH THE TOKENS OF THE DAMSEL'S VIRGINITY UNTO THE ELDERS OF THE CITY IN THE GATE".
Verse 16:- "AND THE DAMSEL'S FATHER SHALL SAY UNTO THE ELDERS. I GAVE MY DAUGHTER UNTO THIS MAN TO WIFE, AND HE HATETH HER".
Verse 17:- "AND, LO, HE HATH GIVEN OCCASIONS OF SPEECH AGAINST HER, SAYING, I FOUND NOT THE DAUGHTER A MAID, AND YET THESE ARE THE TOKENS OF MY DAUGHTER'S VIRGINITY. AND THEY SHALL SPREAD THE CLOTH BEFORE THE ELDERS OF THE CITY".
Verse 18:- "AND THE ELDERS OF THAT CITY SHALL TAKE THAT MAN AND CHASTISE HIM";
Verse 19:- "AND THEY SHALL AMERCE HIM IN AN HUNDRED SHEKELS OF SILVER, AND GIVE THEM UNTO THE FATHER OF THE DAMSEL, BECAUSE HE HATH BROUGHT UP AN EVIL NAME UPON A VIRGIN OF ISRAEL, AND SHE SHALL BE HIS WIFE; HE MAY NOT PUT HER AWAY ALL HIS DAYS"

Deuteronomy 22:13-19is the law of the innocent wife protected. This law was applicable to Paul before and after, the "garment" he wore as a Christian Israelite martyr. In other words, Deuteronomy 22 is an "allegory" applicable to a situation of a Jew/and Christian under the law, as Saul/Paul was

(An "allegory" is a speech which conveys a meaning in which the subject, Benjamin/Paul is described by another subject, that of the virgin of Israel).

Those "virgin" children were in the Christians, who Saul was offended by, and wanted to put away in destruction, as a wolf.

So, Saul was "judged" in a heavenly court when Jesus said to him on the road to Damascus, "Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? -It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks". (Acts 9:3-5). The latter portion of the saying in Acts by Jesus means:- Saul, you are striking out with the feet, ever marching in your opposition to me. You incite and sting bringing remorse. Your actions are full of difficulties and obstacles, being unjust and unreasonable even when not yielding to pressure.

So, that "wolf" Benjamin/Saul, took his prey without reason or remorse in the misery his actions caused, against the innocent "virgin wife" within Israel.

That same "virgin daughter of Israel" remains all through biblical history and is at the mercy of an evil name spoken against her. One reads of this "virgin" of Israel from, 2Kings 19:21, Isaiah 37:21-22, Jeremiah 14:17, Lamentations 2:13-16, 2 Corinthians 11:2, etc.

Verse 2:- "FOR I AM JEALOUS OVER YOU WITH GODLY JEALOUSY; (Paul speaks) FOR I HAVE ESPOUSED YOU TO ONE HUSBAND, THAT I MAY PRESENT YOU AS A CHASTE VIRGIN TO CHRIST".

Paul does not speak of the world's churches united, as many biblical students believe, but a "special" church under the law of the Israelite nation.

The "virgin of Israel" is Gods clean untarnished church of people, who is kept by God, -as their Father,- she presents the tokens of her cause before man. She is within mankind's diversity of churches and nations. Mankind institutes have been set up and arrayed against the "virgin of Israel" in an uneducated fashion, speaking and thinking falsely against her.

During his life Paul played the role of the husband, who refused to hear the voice or belief of the innocent "virgin wife" within the law. The "brides" Father, The Holy One, was to show and guide Paul -by the Holy Spirit,- of His daughter's cloth of virginity, openly.

Saint Paul's chastisement for unbelief, was his "first journey" into other lands seeking all Israel within the Gentile nations, for which 100 shekels were paid and required by law.

The "second journey" he paid 100 shekels for the "daughter of Jerusalem" out of the House of Judah.

The "third journey" he paid 100 shekels under the law of chastisement, for the "daughter of Zion" out of the "House of Israel", who could not be put away!

Paul paid for his wolfly unbelief in full, which he told us of in his chastisement. Written in 2Corinthians 11:22-31.

Paul's conscience pricked him so many times when he once lived as a terrible wolf against the Lord's children. No doubt ever turning over in his thoughts the sights and cries of the people he had tortured and killed in his hunting days. We find the "reason" for his 3 journeys of 100 shekels apiece paid for the "bride of Israel" during his life in. 2Corinthians 12:7-8. "AND LEST I SHOULD BE EXALTED ABOVE MEASURE THROUGH THE ABUNDANCE OF THE REVELATIONS. (Or because Paul had changed from within himself through seeing, hearing, and knowing Christ through many divine communications), THERE WAS GIVEN TO ME A THORN IN THE FLESH, THE MESSENGER OF SATAN TO BUFFET ME, LEST I SHOULD BE EXALTED ABOVE MEASURE". (Or Paul was always acutely aware how he "kicked against the pricks", which Jesus spoke to him about, in his earlier life. His "messenger" of the flesh(Satan) was his conscience, which sorely troubled him. The flashback of horrible memories of the past struck him hard. These memories which plagued him also kept him humble of mind and purpose, always remembering he had a lot of evil to blot out).
Verse 8:- "FOR THIS THING (The evil memories of killing and speaking evil against the bride of Israel). I BESOUGHT THE LORD THRICE, THAT IT MIGHT DEPART FROM ME". (Or 3 times he had to pay his 300 shekels as punishment his conscience killing him, as Deut: 22:13-19 says. Until his guilt would depart from him, knowing on the other side of the coinage he had suffered for it, and the Lord would consider that the balances were set in his favour.

Paul acknowledges his wolfly nature inherited from Benjamin in 2Corinthians 12:16. "BUT BE IT SO, I DID NOT BURDEN YOU; NEVERTHELESS, BEING CRAFTY, I CAUGHT YOU WITH GUILE".

Poor Paul he suffered dreadfully for the "bride of Israel", and for earlier denouncing her, who used the 5 raiment's and 300 shekels given to Benjamin, which were paid in full!

No man or woman in spiritual history as great as Saint Paul, King David, Moses, Jacob, etc, had a pure life to look back on. Their fleshly lives perpetually testified to their spiritual selves of the wars going on inside them.

The whole nation of Israel, -with the chosen bride therein,- has a husband called "The Holy One of Israel". Who set the price for her under the Law, which remains always. Hosea 2:16 explains. "AND IT SHALL BE AT THAT DAY, (the end of man's history) SAITH THE LORD, THAT THOU SHALL CALL ME ISHI; (husband) AND SHALT CALL ME NO MORE BAALI. (My Lord).

Isaiah 54:5, "FOR THY MAKER IS THINE HUSBAND, AND THE LORD OF HOSTS IS HIS NAME; AND THY REDEEMER THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL; THE GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH SHALL HE BE CALLED".

Apart from Paul paying 300 pieces of shekels and using 5 garments for the job of redemption set before him. We must also remember both Joseph and Jesus who redeemed all Israel with 50 pieces of silver, between them, required under the law, (Leviticus 27:2-3) because they were under a vow!

Paul's martyred "raiment" dropped at his feet from Stephen at his death, and was used by Paul strictly for himself, and like Christ's disciples as followers of Christ, was to walk into the jaws of death. Just as Jesus did for a valid reason!

When one reads various stories in Scripture of putting on and taking off garments, tearing them into shreds, or shaking the dust out of them, etc, these are not merely peculiar acts pertaining to the wearer showing disgust, or for mourning, or the need of a covering for the body. Men and women of God upon a mission, who were given a garment, had a double purpose for the wearer in question. Sometimes the garment was used in a vow to be carried out by a person. Or as a mark of respect, in Joseph's case in Genesis 41:14. Though he was brought hastily out of the dungeon to be brought before the Pharaoh of Egypt. Nevertheless, he shaved himself and changed his raiment, facing with respect a ruler of Egypt. Though Joseph's true ruler was God Almighty.

Joseph's other garment, called the "coat of many colours," which was torn and blood
stained has had its meaning in history. (Genesis 37).

The law of captivity in Deuteronomy 21:10-13, the garments of the old life and new are used.

Elijah's garment was paramount in 2 Kings 2:8-14.

The Bride of Israel's children are to put on beautiful garments. (Isaiah 52:1).

The law was fulfilled when the people parted Christ's garments. (Matthew 27:35,- Psalm 22:18).

When have we seen of the wolf nature of Benjamin in these "last days" of the 20th century? The "wolf" was at work in the land of Israel against the tribes of Ishmael and Esau nations etc. The "wolf nature" of Benjamin from Genesis 49:27, has been relentless, fast, striking with great cunning against his enemies. He had delivered his deathblow before one was even aware of what was happening, returning home evaluating his gains.

Benjamin began his "wolfly" work after World Wars I and II. Then the "House of Judah" started its run of determination for its ancient homeland.

The state of Israel is a Jewish Democratic Republic in the former territory called Palestine and was established in 1948.

The ferocity of World War II metered out by the Germans upon the Jewish people, gave this old lion the impetuous to stand upon their feet and fight for their lives, and the longing for their homeland.

Full-scale war broke out between the Israelite Jews and its Arab neighbours between 1948-49, and the Jewish/Benjamin "wolf" gained land.

In 1955 war again broke out during the Suez crisis. In 1967 war once more reared its ugly head with the United Arab Republic. It was this war of 1967, which brought, and combined, Benjamin, Levi and Judah's blessings from Genesis 49, into perspective.

During 1973 the Yom Kippur war was fought. Since then, there have been many, many skirmishes involving the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, etc, and with the Israeli troops entering Lebanon.

The classic example of the "wolf" Benjamin, in the "last days", was during the 6-day war of 1967. With cunning, and swiftness of mind and foot, Benjamin's children, -with his other brothers,- brought down their enemies with lighting speed. Indeed, it was a meeting of Jewish David facing the giant Arab Goliath at that time. That situation could only be fought with skill, swift of foot, wisdom, and zeal of purpose, that a "wolf" can bring to a hunt.

Within the Jews in the land of Israel in the "latter days", there is a "triangle" of zeal for their cause, and when aroused to its fullest extent that wolf can be terrible!

1:- Benjamin's blessing for the latter days is one of wolfish ferocity. (Genesis 49:27).

2:- Judah's hand will be in the neck of his enemies. (Genesis 49:8).

3:- Levi's blessing is, "cursed be their anger for it was fierce; and his wrath cruel." (Genesis 49:7).

Put this "triangle" of brother's prophecies together, as it is today within Israel, and one will see they are a purposeful cunning nation and will fight to the last man to defeat their enemies.

The warning to other nations from their prophetic blessings is, there is no defeat in their make up for the last days. Their "triangle" of strength, cunning, and swift death is forged together, with no weaknesses one might find in disunity.

With the "star" of the warrior King David in their flag seems to be rather fitting in the "last days". The "star" takes the shape of 2 triangles of blue on a white background.

It seems to be a prophetic pointer to their situation. From Jacob's blessings in Genesis 49 for his 3 sons, which make up the "House of Judah" in the land of Israel, is as one triangle. The "second triangle" was set by their great lawgiver Moses when he blessed the tribes in, Deuteronomy 33:7-12. Thus, putting Judah, Levi, and Benjamin together, from out of their birth lineage,- which we read of in Jacob's blessing in Genesis 49.

Moses blessing was for their 3-sided strength through history to save their lives, which even today remains strong in the land of Israel.

Small is the "House of Judah" compared to the "House of Israel," but strong are his bulwarks in understanding this situation. Nevertheless, Judah/Jew must strengthen his position further, and his people must stand back-to-back in wisdom, because the world is in turmoil!

To sum up upon the prophetic lineages of the 2 Houses of Israel/Judah, one reads and understands that each tribe has fulfilled its waymark in secular and biblical histories, and that the crown of England is almost finished.

In the "last days" however Joseph's power still remains as the "preserver" for the whole "nation of Israel", and that his bow abides in strength to the last ditch of history. (Genesis 49:24).

Ephraim's children wear the crown for the last royal house, but grey hairs are upon its head for its years are growing old. (Hosea 7:8-16).

Manasseh/USA still wields great power in the earth, but his years are running out.

His loyalties are entwined with his brother Ephraim/England, and it must remain so. (Isaiah 9:21).

Judah/Jew with his brothers have once more returned to their own land, after their long punishment and wandering. When that Old Lion couched down and hid himself.

Soon, another kingdom will be set up in the earth, and our King will appear in reality. First towards the "House of Israel" - for thence or that place is the "Shepherd the stone of Israel"!

Balaam the ancient diviner of prophecy during Moses' day in Numbers 24:17, saw into our times as such.

To cement these Israelite lineages of the crown from Genesis 49 as secular fact, we must now enter into "more" prophecy, which gives us Israelite modern, biblical/secular history. We find this factual prophecy in the pages of the great prophet Daniel. This great man saw pictures of times and dates far into the mists of centuries ahead of his own era. His inner eye seeing visions of things he didn't understand himself, which took him into, and beyond the realms of 2,000 AD.

To understand world history presented in Daniel's words it is vital to have imagination and not conjecture. It alone helps to unlock the prison world of myths, changing it to reality. Imagination with fact allows one to step into another world, which desires and dreams are made of. -Which can bring about what is called " the awesome human potential".

Imagination opens the door wide to the memory. Founded upon the frontier garden made so long ago for Adam and Eve, and God's family, to which we all belong. The eyes of unbelief and materialism have not seen what God has in store for His children of imagination!

The "path" to Truth has to be cleared of the debris man has sought to surround himself with, throughout the centuries. This debris is religious walls and fences of trivia, and misuse of prophecy corrupting one's way. So, let us open wide another door of understanding within Daniel's words, for "world history" for the 2 houses of Israel.
