Daniel 11:30:- "FOR THE SHIPS OF CHITTIM SHALL COME AGAINST HIM: THEREFORE HE SHALL BE GRIEVED, AND RETURN, AND HAVE INDIGNATION AGAINST THE HOLY COVENANT; SO SHALL HE DO; HE SHALL EVEN RETURN, AND HAVE INTELLIGENCE WITH THEM THAT FORSAKE THE HOLY COVENANT".

With the understanding of prophecy from verse 30 we have been thrown into the Melting pot, -as it were- of world power struggles. Daniel's prophecy nevertheless always retains the pivotal point for history in chapter 11, and the pivot is the British "House of Israel, -or- the Jewish "house of Judah". Though history enlarges with each verse wider and wider, taking into it, and telling the stories of other nations, it "forever" remains the history of the 2 nations of Israel! Especially this history in verse 30, that of the 10 toed kingdom of the British Isles. Let us take the first sentence of verse 30 and unravel the words; "FOR THE SHIPS OF CHITTIM SHALL COME AGAINST HIM".

The first inclination we have on how to unravel this sentence comes from the words "Ships of Chittim". The word "Chittim" is sometimes interchanged with another spelling, Kittim, which we find the first reference to in Genesis chapter 10 verse 4, Which gives us the lineage of Noah's son Japheth, who in turn had sons, one of which was Javan. From Javan came sons, called Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. The tribe of Kittim, were amongst the nations who peopled the Islands of the Gentiles. Different Bible dictionaries tell us bits of the possibilities where these people from Javan called Kittim, came to rest. Javan we are told peopled Ionia (around Greece), Cyprus, and other islands coasts of the eastern Mediterranean. Kittim the dictionaries say was probably Cyprus. The Westminster dictionary of the Bible says: "KITTIM OR CHITTIM, THE LATTER BEING THE MORE CONSISTENT, AND IN THE AUTHORISED VERSION MORE FREQUENT SPELLING. DESCENDANTS OF JAVAN, WHO INHABITED CYPRUS, AND OTHER ISLANDS OF THE COASTS OF THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN. (Genesis 10:4, - Numbers 24:24 ETC;). THE NAME IS CONNECTED DEFINITELY WITH CYPRUS. CHIEFLY THROUGH KITION, AN ANCIENT TOWN ON THE SOUTH COAST OF THE ISLAND, BUT IT WAS EVENTUALLY GREATLY EXTENDED".

Numbers 24:24:- "AND SHIPS SHALL COME FROM THE COAST OF CHITTIM, AND SHALL AFFLICT ASSHUR, AND SHALL AFFLICT EBER, AND HE ALSO SHALL PERISH FOREVER". It seems then through the verse in Numbers that in ancient times the peoples of Chittim were strong seafaring peoples. If we turn to the Authorised Version of the Apocrypha, and the "First Book of the Maccabees". Chapter 1 verse 1 it says:- "AND IT HAPPENED, AFTER THAT ALEXANDER SON OF PHILIP, THE MACEDONIAN, WHO CAME OUT OF THE LAND OF CHETTIM, HAD SMITTEN DARIUS KING OF THE PERSIANS AND MEDES, THAT HE REIGNED IN HIS STEAD, THE FIRST OVER GREECE". Here we have Alexander the Great King of all Greece, coming out of Macedonia, which is classed as Chittim. Not only is Cyprus peopled by the Kittimites but Macedonia as well. History tells us that Alexander known as the Great, (356-323 BC) was King of Macedonia and conqueror of the eastern world. Son of Philip II and Olympias a princess of Epirus (Greece) born in Pella, which was the ancient Capital of Macedonia. We turn again to the "Apocrypha", 1 Maccabees chapter 8, when this chapter speaks of Rome, Greece, of Asia and others, and verse 5 of the chapter says:- "BESIDES THIS, HOW THEY HAD DISCOMFITED IN BATTLE PHILIP, AND PERSEUS, KING OF THE CITTIMS, WITH OTHERS THAT LIFTED UP THEMSELVES AGAINST THEM, AND HAD OVERCOME THEM". This verse speaks of the Greeks, especially Macedonia or Cittims.

We have read before of Philip and Perseus who were overcome by the Romans, which Romans ended the Antigonid dynasty of Macedonia, in Daniel 11:4, and of the understanding of the 4 winds.

So, we must take it as fact, that the Chittimites spread out into the Greek Islands and the mainland. Just as the Gauls spread out and are mentioned as Galatians in the New Testament, who became also Gauls of France etc: Both during the time of Roman power. Saint Paul during his journeys to the Gentiles, was guided by the spirit -in "The Acts" of the Apostles.- into Asia Minor of the Greeks and Macedonia, to teach the Gospel. The spirit knowing full well that biblical and secular history would push the people into other lands and would eventually take note of their genealogies of ancient times for our learning.

We have seen that Chittim or Kittim is Macedonia/Greece, and its Islands, and they were indeed a seafaring peoples. Daniel 11:30, once more brings Greece back onto the world stage, this time for another reason! The first sentence of Verse 30 and the "SHIPS OF CHITTIM", give us the "time zone" in world history to work with, and that date is from 1821 AD. A large leap in secular history from the preceding verse 29, which gave us Henry VII Tudor, etc: of the years 1457 to 1603 AD.

That leap is because history is now rushing the 2 nations of Israel headlong into the 21st century, and the end of man's ruling upon the earth. Daniel 11:30 says; FOR THE SHIPS OF CHITTIM WILL COME AGAINST "HIM". Who is the "Him" which Greece is going to fight? Let us establish first who is upon the throne of England during the year 1821 AD. Before this date we have the Stuart -or- "Gad", ruling on that throne which rule had finished, and the German Hanoverian dynasty has taken the crown of England, Or Biblically it is now the "time" of the Princes of Asher, in the guise of George IV 1820- 1830 A.D.

The picture of Greek history at this time is one of confusion, because that country was ever being pulled this way and that with warring nations. Parts of Greece had been incorporated into the Turkish Empire as early as the 15th century, which sent thousands of Greeks into exile through Europe. For the following three centuries Christian powers warred with the Turks, with Greece changing hands many times until 1718 AD when the Greeks were fully under the Turkish Empire. This is the "picture" which is set as the background to verse 30 of Daniel's prophecy, and we see the "HIM" of this prophecy, who is against Greece. It is the ruler of the Turkish Empire named Sultan Mahmud II. Out of the waters of the Aegean rose a defiant stand, called "The Greek War of Independence".

Today we have a saying that "history repeats itself", indeed it does! For if we take special note of Daniel chapter 11 and its continual prophecies for nations of the Gentiles, we will see how nations appear on the world stage, recede, then appear again in another guise, or form of power. So, it is with the re-emergence of Greece in history. Greece, under Alexander the Great were masters of the ancient world, but then faded into antiquity. Man had mourned over the years for her classical scholars and men of renown, who had moulded themselves on her learning. Yet! Greece itself was lost within the smothering Turkish Empire, whose captivating power had straddled a great chunk of Alexander's lands. From 1812 AD Greek nationalism began to revive and they began to fight their Wars of Independence, with Greek ships coming against Turkey.

The questions we have to ask ourselves is, "if Greece was subdued under the heel of Turkey, when did this battle of the ships take place"? -And- when did the British 10 toed kingdom get caught up in this fight?

In the year 1821 AD Greek nationalism rose to fever pitch, and her sailors answered the call from the Island of Hydra, (pronounced Heedra). Upon this island were 30,000 Greeks primed to fight the Turks. This Greek Island Hydra is famous for only one thing in its short history and that is, "it gave its ships and sailors to fight the Turkish Ottoman Empire. The neighbouring Islands of Spetsai and Psara had also joined in, placing their fleets at their disposal, with ship's captains from Hydra at the helm. The Greeks or the sons of CHITTIM were united again as one man, and to fight for that freedom the sailors and ships of Hydra etc. were the only navy the Greeks had at that time. This famous yet! Insignificant island had schooled its young men in seamanship from the word "go", and her great shipping families were worth millions. Surpassing the wealth of the modern shipping families of Greece today. All their men and wealth were poured into this one battle for Independence from the Turks. The Greeks fought ferociously, sending in amongst the Turks fire ships, which wreaked havoc and won them the war. Those seamen of Hydra were superior to the Turks as they were hardened sailors, living that sort of life was all they knew.

Having their Island so situated that their goods edible or otherwise, their housing materials, even their fresh water was brought by sea from the mainland of Greece. However, fighting the Turks, Hydra bankrupt itself and slid back into isolation, and almost forgotten in history. With the famous shipping families on the Island completely overcome by the expensive outcome, never again to RISE in the same sea power as before the war.

Today, that same Island can be viewed only by travellers from the sea, it is unspoiled by modern civilisation nestling in its powerful strategic place in the Aegean Sea off Greece.

Once more are the prophetic words of Daniel the "seer" fulfilled to the letter of the Law, when secular history acknowledged that only the ships of Greece fought this war of Independence from the Turks as predicted and won, and no other nation had intervened at that time. "FOR THE SHIPS OF CHITTIM SHALL COME AGAINST HIM". That fight of the Greeks fought HIM of a strong Empire of Turkey. Let us go back now to the next sentence of Daniel 11:30. "THEREFORE HE SHALL BE GRIEVED, AND RETURN AND HAVE INDIGNATION AGAINST THE HOLY COVENANT"; We still speak of the "HE" here in this sentence, as the same "HIM" in the first sentence, namely the Turkish Sultan Mahmud II. The first word of this sentence states "THEREFORE", or, for that reason, which is something previously stated. Or in this case, what happened to the Turkish fleet routed by the Greeks. "He" -the Turkish Sultan- "SHALL BE GRIEVED"- which is to afflict and give pain of mind, and to mourn and lament his defeat. This "HE" though, will "RETURN" to Greece, HE will go back to the same place where he and his men lost face, being soundly thrashed by this Greek subject peoples. The Turkish Sultan was so angry that "INDIGNATION" had taken hold of "HIM". "INDIGNATION", is a word filled with a feeling of violent displeasure. He had borne this shame of defeat before other nations of the world. So, his troops "RETURNED" to Greece between the years 1821-1824 AD. They fought each other viciously, with many atrocities on both sides. The Turkish Sultan asked for aid from Mehemet Ali the Pasha of Egypt, to help quell the terrible fighting in the peninsula of Greece. In return for Egypt's help, they were to take control of some Turkish possessions including the Island of Crete.

This time in 1826 with Egyptian troops to reinforce their "RETURN" to Greece, -as Daniel prophesied. They smashed and pushed their way across the land, until the entire southern Peninsula of CHITTIM was in their hands. This time the Greeks were subdued, and an uneasy peace brought about. The remainder of the sentence in Daniel's Verse 30 says; "AND HAVE INDIGNATION AGAINST THE HOLY COVENANT". Now it seems the Sultan Mahmud II has "INDIGNATION" -of- "displeased feelings of anger and contempt" at someone else, other than the Greeks this time around. Once more we have the words "AGAINST THE HOLY COVENANT". Which we have read before in verse 28 of Daniel chapter II. When the "Holy covenant" then referred to Richard the Lionheart's selfish usage of the British people's riches, in fighting the unholy Crusades.

Here again, we have Britain being established as the "people of the Abrahamic everlasting covenant", into these modern times spoken of in verse 30. The "COVENANT" said, "that Abraham's wife Sarah, would be a mother of nations", (which British peoples in the world became). "Kings of the people should come out of her", -which Genesis 48:49 and the lineage of the British throne have endorsed. Isaac's "seed" is established "everlasting", and that "seed" branched out into 2 nations through Jacob/Israel.

The "House of Israel's" prophetic story came under the British crown, who are the "miry clay" of Daniel's 10 toed prophecy.

The "COVENANTED people", and their "milestones"(waymarks) in secular history, are emphasised time and time again for our edification, at the close of our history. If Bible students out of this covenanted nation refuse to hear and refuse this knowledge as fact, then indeed! Your stiff necks are iron sinews unable to bend and listen and destruction is "ours", brought about by deaf ears and our own evil ways. (Isaiah 48:4). Destruction of our peoples is not God's desire, otherwise we would not have secular history spelled out in biblical history, through Daniel's prophecies as we do, for us to read and learn! To the very last moment of man's history "He" has tried to warn us over and over again!

Here in verse 30 Turkey has "INDIGNATION" -or- a feeling of violent displeasure, mingles with contempt against Britain. Of these "COVENANTED" people of the House of Israel in the Gentiles. The Greek wars of Independence, which started at first from 1821 AD, when the Greeks fought alone, caused much sympathy from other European powers who aided them with money and volunteers. By 1827 the European nations, conscious also of the strategic position of Greece in the Mediterranean, agreed on military intervention on behalf of the Greeks. The threat of Turkish and Egyptian power gobbling up Mediterranean territory was a large factor in those European nations intervening. Let us read from Winston Churchill's, "History of the English-Speaking Peoples" a condensed version -words in brackets mine.- Which explains fully Turkey's "INDIGNATION" against "COVENANTED" Britain. He says "THE GREEKS REVOLT OF 1821 AGAINST THEIR TURKISH OVERLORDS DEVELOPED INTO SCENES OF UNPARALLELED SAVAGERY ON BOTH SIDES, THE BLOODSHED AND INHUMANITY OF THE STRUGGLE, FORCED THE NATIONS OF EUROPE TO INTERVENE -(And sympathies lay with the Greeks, especially in Britain). BY A REPORT FROM CONSUL BARKER AT ALEXANDRIA REPEATED FROM THE FOREIGN OFFICE TO CODRINGTON THAT FIVE AND A HALF THOUSAND GREEKS MAINLY WOMEN AND CHILDREN HAD BEEN SOLD IN THE MARKET THERE.

SO, UNDER THESE CONDITIONS THE BRITISH MEDITERRANEAN FLEET UNDER VICE- ADMIRAL- SIR EDWARD CODRINGTON, TOGETHER WITH A SQUADRON OF WARSHIPS FROM BOTH FRANCE AND RUSSIA, SET SAIL FOR NAVARINO BAY (ALSO CALLED PYLOS) IN GREECE 1827 AD. At this time Codrington was assured of an armistice received verbally from Commander -in- Chief Ibrahim Pasha of the Egyptian Turkish forces). ASHORE AT NAVARINO WERE FORTY THOUSAND TURKISH TROOPS NOTORIOUSLY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. (And when Codrington three times refused to allow a Turkish squadron with troops to proceed to Patros to counter a supposed attack by Lord Cochrane's piratical ships, which checked the plans of Ibrahim pasha). "WERE LET LOOSE UPON THE SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE. THE MOST TERRIBLE BARBARITIES DIRECTED PARTICULARLY AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN OCCURRED BY IBRAHIM PASHA. (The British fleet intercepted the Turks on their way to Patros and Ibrahim Pasha returned to Navarino Bay and anchored them close to the Turkish ships). ACCORDING TO CODRINGTON THE STRENGTH OF THE TURKISH, - EGYPTIAN FLEET AMOUNTED TO EIGHTY-ONE. INCLUDING 3 SHIPS OF THE LINE AND 4 DOUBLE BACKED FRIGATES, ARMED WITH SIXTY-FOUR GUNS EACH. THE TURKISH FLEET MOUNTED, 2,240 GUNS. CODRINGTONS COMBINED FLEET NUMBERED 27 SAIL BUT INCLUDED 11 SHIPS OF THE LINE WITH-1,276 GUNS. (Codrington's ship "Asia" was met at the entrance to the Bay with a message from Ibrahim Pasha), -"THAT HE HAD NOT GIVEN PERMISSION FOR THE ALLIED SHIPS TO ENTER, THEY WERE ALL TO BE PUT TO SEA AGAIN. CODRINGTONS REPLY TO THE PASHA WAS, "HE WAS THERE TO GIVE ORDERS, NOT TO RECEIVE THEM, AND AT THE FIRST SHOT FROM ANY TURKISH SHIP, THE WHOLE FLEET WOULD BE DESTROYED".

Well! As you can imagine reader, this whole picture of nerves in Navarino Bay is exactly what Daniel foretold, when he said, Turkey/Egypt would have "INDIGNATION" -or a feeling of violent contempt, and displeasure at these ships under British command entering this Bay in Greece. His violent anger let loose his men with those terrible barbarities on the hapless Greeks in the countryside. The "contempt" for the allied fleet also rested in the fact that the combined Turkish and Egyptian fleets could outgun and outnumber the allied ships entering the bay without permission. The Pasha's "INDIGNATION" boiled over -as it were- into a full-scale battle. Churchill recalls for us the events. "BY MID AFTERNOON ABOUT HALF THE ALLIED FLEET WAS ANCHORED IN THE BAY AND AS YET NO SHOT HAD BEEN FIRED. CODRINGTON ORDERED THE BAND OF THE ASIA ON DECK TO PROVIDE MUSIC FOR THE OCCASION BUT THE BRITISH FRIGATE DARMOUTH, OBSERVING SOME TURKISH FIRESHIPS NEAR THE ENTRANCE OF THE BAY, LAUNCHED HER BOATS TO REQUEST THEM TO MOVE FARTHER AWAY. THE TURKS NOT UNNATURALLY SUPPOSING THAT FORCE WAS TO BE USED TO CAPTURE THE FIRESHIPS, OPENED FIRE WITH MUSKETRY ON THE APPROACHING BOATS AND CAUSED SOME CASUALTIES. THE DARMOUTH RETURNED WHAT CODRINGTON LATER DESCRIBED AS "DEFENSIVE" FIRE, WHICH WAS AUGMENTED BY MORE "DEFENSIVE" FIRE FROM THE FRENCH FLAGSHIP SIRENE. ONE OF THE TURKISH SHIPS THEN FIRED A ROUND SHOT AT THE SIRENE, AND WITHIN MINUTES THE WHOLE BAY WAS ABLAZE WITH GUNFIRE. THE ACTION LASTED FOR FOUR HOURS, "THIS BLOODY AND DESTRUCTIVE BATTLE," WROTE CODRINGTON IN HIS DESPATCH, WAS CONTINUED WITH UNABATED FURY FOR FOUR HOURS, AND THE SCENE OF WRECK AND DEVASTATION WHICH PRESENTED ITSELF AT ITS TERMINATION WAS SUCH AS HAS BEEN SELDOM BEFORE WITNESSED. AS EACH SHIP OF OUR OPPONENTS BECAME EFFECTUALLY DISABLED, SUCH OF HER CREW AS COULD ESCAPE FROM HER ENDEAVOURED TO SET HER ON FIRE; AND IT IS WONDERFUL HOW WE AVOIDED THE EFFECT OF THEIR SUCCESSIVE AND AWFUL EXPLOSIONS. IN FACT, THE TURK'S LOST ONE SHIP OF THE LINE, THREE DOUBLE- BANKED FRIGATES, NINE OTHER FRIGATES, TWENTY TWO CORVETTES, NINETEEN BRIGS, ONE SCHOONER, AND FIVE FIRESHIPS, WITH FOUR THOUSAND SEAMEN ESTIMATED KILLED. NO ALLIED SHIP WAS LOST, AND THE TOTAL CASUALTIES AMOUNTED TO ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY ONE KILLED AND FOUR HUNDRED AND SEVENTY WOUNDED". As Daniel prophesied the "INDIGNATION" of Turkey against the "COVENANTED" people of Britain, at the Battle of Navarino Bay ended, for the first half of verse 30.

We come now to the middle words from Daniel 11:30, which says- SO SHALL HE DO. In dealing with these four simple words in verse 30, we are dealing with words of "FIXED DETERMINATION".

"SHALL" implies authority of what has to be atoned for. To "DO" something, is to perform, execute, and bring about. "SO" means in this or that manner of that degree. Or "HE", the ruler of Turkey Sultan Mahmud II through Ibrahim Pasha, the executor of the tragedies in Greece, will "DO" that which he wishes to "DO", irrespective of other people's feelings or consequences! The Turkish Ottoman Empire had spread out through other nations in "authority", at that time, but in this action, he's losing face. Turkish and Egyptian actions were deliberate, cruel, ferocious and wayward. These four words of, -"SO SHALL HE DO", explains those deliberate actions. It also divides verse 30 into 2 sections of determination, for the Ottoman Empire to hold onto as much of Europe as possible venting its fury on Greece (Chittim). And "why" it dragged into that fury the "COVENANTED" people of Britain".

The second half of verse 30 deals with a complete turnaround in world affairs at that time.

The next words of verse 30 are:- "HE SHALL EVEN RETURN, AND HAVE INTELLIGENCE WITH THEM THAT FORSAKE THE HOLY COVENANT". By the time this latter half of verse 30 and the affairs of Greece, Britain, Turkey, France, and Russia have reorganised themselves on the world stage, much has changed. The years from 1837 to 1901 AD saw the young Queen Victoria come to the British throne. After the years of George IV 1820/1830 and William IV 1830/1837 AD under whose reigns the alliance of France, Russia, and Great Britain took place. Which eventually, through their naval might off Greece, demanded an armistice with Turkey and forced a settlement. In 1830 the European nations cancelled the Greek Republic and made an autonomous Kingdom under their protection. After the "War of Independence", Greece continued her internal unrest with factional fighting, and her economic condition was poverty-stricken. The 3 powers of France, Russia, and Great Britain jointly lent Greece a large amount of money, thus giving the powers an excuse to interfere in Greek internal affairs. Greece from 1878 to 1914 and the First World War, devoted her energies in expanding its territory, thus coming into conflict with Turkey, who still held Crete, Macedonia etc. Greece triumphed but was exhausted into 1914.

It is against this changing picture of the affairs of allied powers and Turkey, that the second half of verse 30 is fulfilled to the letter of the Law. This time however, the affairs of Greece are but only one of the passing determinations of world affairs. It is the affairs of Great Britain -(the COVENANTED people)- with Russia, France, Egypt, and Turkey, which the latter half off verse 30 is concerned with, and another momentous war called "The Crimean War".

Let us unravel the first words of the latter half of Daniel 11:30; -HE SHALL EVEN RETURN.- The "He" is still the Sultan of Turkey, though Mahmud II died in 1839. This new Sultan still ruling in the manner of his predecessors. The word "SHALL" as I said before, implies "authority"! Who we ask exercised that "authority" now on land and sea? -The word "EVEN", means, more to this, and exactly and likewise.-

This picture of Egyptian "authority" under Ibrahim Pasha, has much more to say on the subject and will likewise continue this story. With that "HE EVEN" is doing something else. -"RETURN"- means to go back to the same place or situation. -Ibrahim Pasha had secured for Mehemet Ali, Viceroy of Egypt (1831) the Turkish possessions of Syria and Cilicia, as compensation for the help "He" gave Turkey in Greece. The Egyptian Mehemet Ali had elevated himself to a position of independence from the rule of his Turkish Sultan.

Russia taking advantage of Turkey's troubles,- who were now in a war state with Egypt, -enforced the Turkish Sultan to close the Black Sea to all vessels except Russian. By 1839 Mahmud II of Turkey declared war against Egypt's Mehemet Ali, and the "HE" Ibrahim Pasha "RETURNED" to Turkey with Egyptian forces. This time "however and moreover", (EVEN) utterly defeated the Turkish army. Only the intervention of Great Britain and other European nations prevented the fall of the Turkish Ottoman Empire. During this war, approx. 1839- Mahmud II of Turkey died, and his son took his place.

Now reader the climate of secular history is ready for the last sentence to verse 30 of Daniel II. "AND HAVE INTELLIGENCE WITH THEM THAT FORSAKE THE HOLY COVENANT". "AND" is a word to connect the events of this story of world affairs at that time. "HAVE" is a word which means:- "to hold in possession of power, - or- to be impelled by duty to obtain and procure. "INTELLIGENCE", is the capacity to have knowledge, it is information communicated as news. -"WITH" means;- towards, near, not apart from, in the company of, or in judgement of. -"THEM" means:- those persons or things.

So far reader, we have world affairs, which are all connected very much at that time. All persons vying to pick the bones of the dying Ottoman Empire, who at that time was nicknamed "the sick man of Europe". As the word "HAVE" implies they, Turkey, were trying to hold their possessions of power, yet! Were ready to speak "WITH", or have the company of, the judgement of "THEM", or those other nations who also hold "possessions of power". Those persons in 1854 AD were Great Britain, France, and Russia (Sardinia joining the allies). The greatest power of those fat and healthy Victorian times was "those" of Great Britain the "people" who have "FORSAKEN THE HOLY COVENANT". This power at that time was ruled by the tribe of Asher of Israel. (The last few words pertaining to the "HOLY COVENANT", I will explain more deeply at the end of this chapter of verse 30).

In 1853 Russia began flexing its muscles, and always with an eye to expansionism went to war with Turkey. Who suffered much humiliation at their hands. The Russians had destroyed the Turkish fleet at Sinope in 1853 AD, bringing power matters to a head. Now Turkey is seeking "INTELLIGENCE" with Britain and France of which Daniel 11:30 speaks. The aggressive policies of the then Russian Empire greatly alarmed Britain and France, because of its threat to other European nations especially Greece and India. The Sultan of Turkey now allied himself with "THEM" of the European nations or had "INTELLIGENCE" with "those" nations who were once his enemies during the first half of verse 30. The Sultan of Turkey and his new allies made the "Crimea" the scene of operations against the Russian stronghold of Sevastopol in 1854 AD.

For many a year this noted peninsula "Crimea" in the Black Sea had been fought over. In the 14th century the Turkish Empire controlled part possession of it until the 18th century, with Russian victory over the Turks and the "Crimea". It became part of the Russian Empire in 1783 AD.

During 1848 and onwards the revolutions were closing in on the crowned heads of Europe, with France fighting under the flag of Liberty. In Italy an attempt at a Roman Republic had been proclaimed, against its Austrian occupiers. The German, Austrian, Polish, Hungarian, and Czech's revolutionaries were marching. Russia had its people smarting in the chains of serfdom of autocratic rulers. While Great Britain's affairs went through a restless period of various parties and their politics.

Because the foreign and home affairs of Turkey troubled the statesmen of Europe so much at this time, countries took risks with conflicts of other nations, they would perhaps have otherwise avoided. Daniel's prophecy is now ready for the turnaround in Britain's policy, Turkey is a friend and Russia the enemy.

The hostilities called the "Crimean War" of 1854-56 broke out between Turkey, supported by Great Britain, France, and Sardinia, against the Russian Empire. This war has been called "one of the most incompetent wars of recorded history". Bringing utter shame to the inefficiency of the British and French war machine, which had gone into complete decline since the Napoleonic wars were fought, of the "Battle of Trafalgar, and Waterloo".

During the "Crimean War" ordinary men showed great courage and endurance through terrible weather, lack of supplies, disease, and of being killed and wounded in action. Their wounded having little hope of recovery with so much against them. Their incompetent aged officers were unready, unable, and untrained for war. Today, the "Crimean War" is remembered by the names, which ring out in the memory, of Inkerman, Balaclava, Sevastopol. Of the British woman Florence Nightingale and her nurses, who went to help those soldiers through their hunger, cold, and disease. The poet Tennyson immortalised in words, "The Charge of the Light Brigade," when British horsemen rode straight into Russian guns with frightful results. The main allied objective was the naval port of Sevastopol, the siege by the allied forces lasted through the summer, subjecting the city to three weeks of bombardment night and day, causing the Russians to withdraw with its fall, eventually ending the war. This inconclusive war lasted 2 years and was a shambles of demoralising warfare for the British government; A peace treaty was signed in Paris in 1856 after much jostling for power amongst the European nations at that time. The Russian losses of manpower in Sevastopol alone were 102,000 men. -So, ends the history of the latter half of Daniel 11:30.- We come now to the "depth" of the words, which were left over from verse 30, namely:- "WITH THEM THAT FORSAKE THE HOLY COVENANT".

Daniel the great seer, into history, repeatedly brings into focus throughout the telling of secular history the "COVENANT", -He is lamenting the deafness and blindness of his people of Israel. Daniel has seen the whole terrible picture of what his nation of both houses has to suffer before having been brought to their senses. Which secular history would cover an eternal period, for them, from his day approx. 605 BC to our day -of over 2,000 years. The knowledge Daniel was given and foresaw made him ill many days, he was troubled and afraid, he fainted in fear from the visions and because of the angels of God that appeared before him. The sorrow of his heart continually pictured and remembered the HOLY COVENANT, He saw what is meant by the "FORSAKING" of that agreement-"between God and his people- and what it would do to them!"

In chapter 11 Daniel, he brings before the eyes and memory for biblical minded people the COVENANT. On 4 different occasions he does so. His agonising prayer in chapter 9 explaining to the COVENANTED people, that their Messiah affirmed and sealed that COVENANT for them!

We have read in Daniel 11:28 of the everlasting COVENANT between God and Abraham, which "cannot" fail but only be fulfilled. Because "The Lord God" of the whole nation of Israel -both houses- has spoken that it should be so. Therefore, it is a "HOLY COVENANT" as verse 30 establishes. This "agreement" made between a nation of people and their God, is a "HOLY" contract, -or- a bond of union between two or more persons, who Daniel 11:30 calls, "THEM". That word "THEM" also includes some of the House of Israel's children, and of the "House of Judah"(Jew). Who were, and are, still languishing in other nations. It is written that Abraham's children through Isaac went through many nations of the earth.

When the beginning of verse 30 was unravelled, we saw many European nations involved in this prophecy also. With the old enemy of England, namely France, playing a dominant part as it did with Richard the Lionheart, etc. whose person belonging to the "COVENANTED" people, came out of France.

Secular history tells us of the times before the Crimean War, which brought about the origin of that conflict. It involved the -Protestant Christians- the Christians of Balkan states of Europe under the Turks, and the Orthodox of the Russians. The Christians of the Roman Catholics, and Greek Orthodox had quarrelled over the custody of shrines in the so-called holy places in Jerusalem with nations taking sides in the quarrel. Czar Nicholas of Russia supported the Greeks, and the Christians within the Turkish Empire. The Emperor Napoleon III of France supported the Latin Roman Catholics. This Christian problem continued on into many years after the Crimea under the Turks, with a massacre of Christians occurring in 1860 in Lebanon and Syria. Daniel 11:30 calls to a people called "THEM" who have "FORSAKEN THE HOLY COVENANT".

To belong to any of these schisms with their regimented orders, and ways of worshipping God and His Christ, is at times to belong to something man made. Which has nothing to do with the simplicity of the teachings or understanding of that "HOLY COVENANT" which should govern our lives! Many nations also have forsaken God's Laws for man-made ritual, which was forged by nations only wanting power over men's minds and hearts, it is nothing more than that!

The word "FORSAKE" in Daniel 11:30 means:- to quit and leave entirely, to abandon and desert. It is often to leave that which we are bound in duty and natural affection.

The biggest culprits who have "FORSAKEN TRUTH OF THE COVENANT", are the Protestants and Jews of many nations, who say they study the Laws of God, when they are subject first to their own laws.

The chapters of Daniel, which we are unravelling tell the story of the 12 tribes of Israel and what became of them, and "why" their situation has been so pitiful in history. British secular history alone is Israelite history, whose people are under a COVENANT with God. How much more does God's Book have to shout at us all, before we begin to listen to His voice?

This "abandoning" of God we humans have done with enthusiasm, because the Law's, he gave us to keep, and the path to absolute love and faith in him we have found hard to keep. Because man's vanity and desire of his own power was more appealing. To keep God's commandments within the COVENANT was for us lazy people, a continual schooling of our "inner-man", which in turn brought the "outer-man" to heel. So, we set up ritual and meaningless ideas through other people to do the work for us. We settled back through the centuries into these bad habits and then called them worshipping God. When instead, "His", and our natural affection for each other was lost, in those endless rituals of endless centuries.

It is very difficult for me to try and explain, or condense for you reader, a vast and perfectly interlocking picture of "who" "FORSOOK THE HOLY COVENANT", to understand simply in few sentences of mine.

So, let us first establish what is a "COVENANT" -or- "agreement". The holy Scriptures tell us there were "8 covenants" between God and man, there are other agreements between man and man, but it is the "covenants" established between God and man we are dealing with here. The "8 covenants" are:- The Edenic covenant -(Genesis 3:14-20). The Noah covenant -(Genesis 9:9-16). The Abrahamic covenant -(Genesis 15:18-21). The Sinai covenant -(Exodus 19:5,6, 20:1-17). The Levitical covenant-(Numbers 25:12,13). The Davidic covenant-(2Samuel 23:5). The new covenant through Jesus the Christ -(1Corinthians 11:24-29). The covenant of "peace"-(Ezekiel 34:25). Out of these 8 covenants two of them are "absolute", -or- unchanging into our day and through the fluctuating ages of mankind's history. These are the Abrahamic and Jesus covenants, (which matter much)! Abraham's "fleshy" covenant from Genesis chapter 17, was set as an EVERLASTING COVENANT for Abraham's seed, going through Isaac and into the 12 tribes of Israel. (Who are not only the circumcised remnant of the Jew, as many believe today).

When God "called" Abram (Abraham) out of the place called "Ur of the Chaldees in Mesopotamia, it was to test Abram's faith in God, because he had to leave the shelter of his homeland, heading into the unknown, never understanding what was to become of him through this act. God therefore rewarded Abram with the above COVENANT, "sealing" it by an act of the flesh -called circumcision.- This faithful obedience of Abram answering the "call" was a fleshly act nothing more at that time. Because God is SPIRIT, a spiritual endorsement had to be found to "seal" the "COVENANT" between God and Abraham also. Thus, making it "absolute" and binding in 2 ways; For the "outer man" man Abram, and for the "inner man" Abraham.

We see the same 2 ways of endorsement for Abraham's children in the dividing of Jacob the "outer man", and Israel the "inner man", -or- flesh and spirit of the same "one person".

Today, we would say what was done to Abraham then, was a "happening" in the flesh. -The spirit, -or- "innerman" of Abraham also had to be tested and had to fulfil a difficult criteria, which could only be sealed by death of the flesh. So, God tempted -or- tested Abraham, and because he was now only "partly" God's son, sincerity, trust, and above all love, which -springs completely from the heart- had to be "sealed" also. That "love" was tested in the shape of Abraham's precious second little son Isaac, of which we can read the story of in Genesis chapter 22. Abraham's spirit of love also wanted to please God by offering Isaac up as a burnt offering, though his heart was heavy for the love of this special son. Now, because of Abraham's 2-way sealing, -(The burnt offering of the ram caught in the thicket instead of Isaac was the second seal), God blessed Abraham's seed for as long as generations last and into all the nations of the earth, both East and West. (Judah replenished himself both east and west, and Israel with the Gentile nations of the West), Isaiah 2:6 - Hosea 11:9-12.

No matter how many denominations and sects say today that this Abrahamic COVENANT is done away with, because of Jesus in the New Testament, bringing a "new order!" You are wrong! wrong! and again wrong! Because in "that" understanding of this COVENANT churches are calling God a breaker of promises, and "His" great words and deeds in the earth are not worth the paper they are written on! These denominations are trying to understand our Heavenly Father's Law piecemeal, and not as a whole magnificent picture. Their eyes are blind, their ears are deaf, and their minds lulled to sleep with years of wrong teachings and rituals. Because of Jesus in the New Testament churches say, "we have no need of the Old Testament"! -and we are all spiritual Israel.- There is NO division in our Heavenly Father's Law of words, it is all one book. The Old Testament is the foundation of the house, and Jesus is the cornerstone in that New Testament house, and men and women of God are the bricks and mortar of that house built!

If one reads Hebrews, chapter 9, this chapter explains exactly what this "EVERLASTING HOLY COVENANT" was and is. It's a house built out of the spirit of love of God. The chapter explains that it is another way of saying, that the "agreement" -or- COVENANT between God and Abraham, was remembered in the ordinances and rituals given to Moses and Aaron in the tabernacle in Sinai. The "COVENANT" was then written down on tables of stone, and if the people kept that "agreement", all promises would have been theirs, everlasting! This then became, as it were, a testament -or- a will to the seed of Abraham, which had been first "bound" in a "holy loving COVENANT" between God and Abraham.

All the blood of the flesh of animals that were ever shed for the sins of his kindred's flesh, could not wash away the sins of their "spirit" within them. Because God was dealing with corruptible flesh at first, so HE dealt with them after the manner of flesh. Remember reader, God gave Moses 2 sets of commandments in stone, the first was written directly with the finger of God, -or- by that which was "spiritual". The second set was written again by God, this time knowing full well the flesh being corrupt, could not inherit the kingdom of God. Unless it only applied to the better side of man, that of his spirit.

Those "promises" made to Abraham "HAD" to be fulfilled, and the problem was, how? -The "COVENANT" was Abraham's last will and testament. Because, God promised Abraham great possessions and titles with riches, but Abraham died in faith never seeing it come to pass; That his heirs would receive the jewels of his will. His seed through Isaac, were more scourged, cursed and forsaken through the centuries, rather than inheriting all that they should have. God had to contest the "will" because Abraham's seed were unworthy to inherit, so enmeshed were they in other nations affairs. Some of his heirs- said, "they were "Abraham's children" as Jews", yet! bore very little resemblance to Abraham's love for God. Other children could not prove "they were even related to Abraham, because they had become strangers in the Gentile nations. This picture story Daniel spoke of in chapter 9, with his prayer, which he called "confusion of faces".

If one has an "EVERLASTING COVENANT" with God, then it also outlives the short life of the flesh, on into the life of the spirit. That is "Why" people like Abraham, Moses, Daniel, etc: can stand on the earth and see Jesus the Messiah, return in His glory from the heavens, when all man's history is finished. Man inherits also according to his deeds in his spiritual being. So, God in "His" pity and love for Abraham and his heirs, had another to die for them, (instead of Isaac, son of Love of the flesh) and His name was Jesus the Christ, (son of love of the spirit). So, they all could inherit according to the last Will and Testament of Abraham, (COVENANT).

Christ was called the "Redeemer", and one can only Redeem that which once belonged to you, so "He" redeemed "His" kinfolk, or the "heirs of Abraham"; Because Jesus was Abraham's seed also, through the tribe of Judah. It is the "spirit" of man that's all-important not his flesh, and that "spirit" has to become dominant over the flesh to live everlasting. We humans have reversed this issue, we have our flesh to domineer our spirit. First through the sin of Adam and Eve, then from our own choice in the walk-through life. Some of the people like Abraham, Moses, Daniel, etc: are able to reverse that issue, though cannot control the death of the flesh. But Jesus the Christ reversed the situation altogether. "He" was born of the Holy Spirit FIRST, then nurtured through Mary's flesh second. His flesh however called to tempting Him, just as strong as ours, if not more so. Jesus would not allow the flesh to domineer His Spirit, and at the death of His flesh on the cross, His "spirit" was paramount controlling his flesh which broke forth out of the grave! So, the sacrifice of precious Isaac was cancelled for the sacrifice of precious Jesus Son of the Spirit, and Son of man!

With the death of the flesh of Jesus, and the raising of the MAJESTY of HIS SPIRIT out of the grave, all the patterns of the Law of God, and the SEAL to the "WILL" or COVENANT between God and the man Abraham was now ready. For the "Trustee", - God- to set affairs in motion, to give the heirs and contestants of the "Will" a chance to inherit all that was promised to Abraham.

We find all these things explained to us in Hebrews chapter 9. This book of Hebrews has been written for our learning for -we, Hebrews, in the 20th century,- bringing all the "two-fold" patterns of the Laws of heaven and earth together. Let us read a condensed version of Hebrews 9:14:- "HOW MUCH MORE SHALL THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, WHO THROUGH THE ETERNAL SPIRIT OFFERED HIMSELF WITHOUT SPOT TO GOD, PURGE YOUR CONSCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS TO SERVE THE LIVING GOD"?
Verse 15:- "AND FOR THIS CAUSE HE IS THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, THAT BY MEANS OF DEATH, FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THE TRANSGRESSIONS THAT WERE UNDER THE FIRST TESTAMENT, THEY WHICH ARE CALLED MIGHT RECEIVE THE PROMISE OF ETERNAL INHERITANCE".
Verse 16:- "FOR WHERE A TESTAMENT IS, THERE MUST ALSO OF NECESSITY BE THE DEATH OF THE TESTATOR".
Verse 17:- "FOR THE TESTAMENT IS OF FORCE AFTER MEN ARE DEAD: OTHERWISE IT IS OF NO STRENGTH AT ALL WHILE THE TESTATOR LIVETH".
Verse 18:- "WHEREUPON NEITHER THE FIRST TESTAMENT WAS DEDICATED WITHOUT BLOOD".
Verse 23:- "IT WAS THEREFORE NECESSARY THAT THE PATTERNS OF THINGS IN THE HEAVENS SHOULD BE PURIFIED WITH THESE: BUT THE HEAVENLY THINGS THEMSELVES WITH BETTER SACRIFICES THAN THESE".(Or the sacrifices of blood of animals, or water, or herbs under Moses for all fleshly laws, and spiritual laws by Christ for the heavens).
Verse 24:- "FOR CHRIST IS NOT ENTERED INTO THE HOLY PLACES MADE WITH HANDS, WHICH ARE THE FIGURES OF THE TRUE,(Or places of worship in the earth) BUT INTO HEAVEN ITSELF, NOW TO APPEAR IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD FOR US".

Let us read now from Hebrews 8:5. "WHO SERVE UNTO THE EXAMPLE AND SHADOW OF HEAVENLY THINGS, AS MOSES WAS ADMONISHED OF GOD WHEN HE WAS ABOUT TO MAKE THE TABERNACLE: FOR, SEE, SAITH HE THAT THOU MAKE ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN SHEWED TO THEE IN THE MOUNT". (Because God is a Creator of patterns and laws in all things to the minutest detail, and everything must have order and a purpose under the sun. Therefore, no Christian can say I am "Spiritual Israel" until all Laws must be fulfilled, and patterns completed).
Verse 7:- "FOR IF THAT FIRST COVENANT HAD BEEN FAULTLESS, (Or- the agreement between God and Abraham) THEN SHOULD NO PLACE HAVE BEEN SOUGHT FOR THE SECOND". (Or the death of Jesus to "seal" that agreement. The "fleshly" obedience of Abraham's first covenant was "sealed" by Abraham. The spiritual second part of that COVENANT had to be sealed by a Spiritual "Being" Jesus the Christ).
Verse 8:- "FOR FINDING FAULT WITH THEM, (Abraham's heirs, the whole 12 tribes of Israel) HE SAITH, BEHOLD THE DAYS COME, SAITH THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH". (2 nations out of these heirs, named, for the Hebrews in the last days).
Verse 9:- "NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT: BECAUSE THEY CONTINUED NOT IN MY COVENANT, AND I REGARDED THEM NOT, SAITH THE LORD". (Or that covenant of Abraham's -with the 10 commandments which had been written with Moses).
Verse 10:- "FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAITH THE LORD; I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MIND, AND WRITE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS: AND I WILL BE TO THEM A GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE TO ME A PEOPLE: VERSE 11- AND THEY SHALL NOT TEACH EVERY MAN HIS NEIGHBOUR, AND EVERY MAN HIS BROTHER SAYING, KNOW THE LORD: FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST".

In other words, there will be no need of people like me, nor others who having spent their lives learning about God's ways, for to teach what God's WORD is trying to say to us.

I wonder reader if you noticed a difference between the words spoken in Hebrews 8:8 and Hebrews 8:10? -Verse 8 God called to mind the 2 nations of Israel,- Israel/ Judah. In verse 10 He only named the House of Israel alone and left out Judah. Have you ever asked yourselves why? -Because, only the "House of Israel," who are of and in the Gentiles have accepted the "new COVENANT" under Jesus the Messiah. The "House of Judah" -Jew- still waits for the Messiah. The children of the "House of Israel" inherit Abraham's riches after the manner of searching for the "spiritual things" of life, through Christ. Thereby writing the great things of God's Law in their hearts: Their fleshly princes out of the "House of Israel's" lineage was written in the Old Testament, and in Daniel's prophecies, etc. and were forged in secular history to prove "where" this nation is in the 20th century. Whereas, the "House of Judah" (Jew), has to "learn" by his own mistakes according to the fleshly needs. He can only possess the land of Israel first, because this is what he desires most and not the Christ. He will eventually learn however through the prophets of old. Remembering the words of Isaiah 26:1:- "IN THAT DAY SHALL THIS SONG BE SUNG IN THE LAND OF JUDAH; (Or within the land of Israel today) WE HAVE A STRONG CITY; (Jerusalem) SALVATION (JESUS the CHRIST) GOD APPOINT FOR WALLS AND BULWARKS". (Against their enemies).
Verse 2:- "OPEN YE THE GATES, THAT THE RIGHTEOUS NATION WHICH KEEPETH THE TRUTH MAY ENTER IN". (Or that righteous nation "is" the House of Israel's righteous seed called, "the daughter of Zion", who have Christ The Messiah already written on their hearts).
Verse 8:- "YEA IN THE WAY OF THY JUDGEMENTS, O LORD, HAVE WE WAITED FOR THEE; (the Jew have waited for the "sign" of the Messiah much longer than Israel in the Christians). THE DESIRE OF OUR SOUL IS TO THY NAME, AND TO THE REMEMBRANCE OF THEE";
Verse 9:- "WITH MY SOUL HAVE I DESIRED THEE IN THE NIGHT; YEA, WITH MY SPIRIT WITHIN ME WILL I SEEK THEE EARLY; FOR WHEN THY JUDGEMENTS ARE IN THE EARTH, THE INHABITANTS OF THE WORLD WILL LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS". (When our Lord Jesus returns to this earth). So, by these few pages explaining the "Holy COVENANT", we see the Old Testament looking towards Christ and the 2 nations of Israel in the last days. By these words also we see the New Testament sealed by Christ, then looking back to the Old Testament and to the beginning of that COVENANT and "why" these 2 nations of Israel inherit in this manner! We must always remember reader, that though we read of Abraham and the agreed COVENANT coming into being, which was approx. 4,000 years ago- in God's eyes it happened 4 days ago. (Setting the maxim of a thousand years is a day in the sight of the Lord, 2Peter 3:8).

I can hear the argumentative voices of Christendom questioning the idea that British stock is the "House of Israel" by saying, Ah! but what of the book Galatians 3:28 where it says: "THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, THEIR IS NEITHER BOND NOR FREE, THERE IS NEITHER MALE NOR FEMALE: FOR YE ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS". Indeed, this verse is so, but only when all men and women, including those who answer God's "call" from within the 2 nations of Israel, and the stranger who is joined to them, are baptised correctly. After the manner of the law- "into" the name of the Messiah, Jesus the Christ. To follow strange rituals and dogma made by mankind is unacceptable; For example, to be christened as a babe does not fulfil this criteria. To be immersed in water as a grown up is correct. To be caught up in hysterical hallelujahs is also no good. Those 2 nations of Israel went through all nations themselves in history when their faces behold confusion, and their spirits became confused also.

For instance, this epistle written to the Galatians, were a people not mainly of Greek origins but a fickle people of the Celtic tribes of Gaul. Who poured into Greece as part of a barbarian wave approx. 300 years before Christ. History continually shows us the movement of peoples for centuries for one reason or the other. Some of Israel's children were already in the Galatians The people were first to fall under the words of the Judaising missionaries from Palestine, before Saint Paul entered Corinth to speak to the Galatians The book Galatians tells us that the "blessing" of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, only through Jesus Christ, and the "promise" sealed by Him in His resurrection. So, Abraham's fleshly seed in that last will and testament can inherit Abraham's promise of the "spirit". The Jews who are Abraham's children also, must change from a fleshly seed into a spiritual seed, but only when they accept the Christ in a proper manner! There are "2 roads" running through biblical prophecy -flesh and spirit- both inheriting "all" that was ever promised to Abraham. All peoples will eventually stand on "one" road with the called "heirs of the promise", which "promise" is fulfilled when Jesus returns again! Many churches today are trying to "unite", to fulfil Galatians 3/28. Yet, only under man-made ideas. The Roman Catholic Church is trying to unite everyone under "their" dogma, others object. Galatians is only fulfilled upon Christ's return!

Don't mistake the word "Law" for another way of thinking it means circumcision, it just means fulfilling the written order of things pertaining to the law of the flesh, or the Law of the spirit. If we read Galatians 4:4,5, it tells us this: "BUT WHEN THE FULNESS OF THE TIME WAS COME;(Or the time zone for the entry of Jesus on earth, predicted by the prophets) GOD SENT FORTH HIS SON, MADE OF A WOMAN, (Mary) MADE UNDER THE LAW"; (Or fleshly lineage of the Jew through the House of Judah).
Verse 5:- "TO REDEEM (Buy back his kinfolk) THEM THAT WERE UNDER THE LAW, (Or to pay the price of sacrifice in blood, and the offering of money paid under the Mosaic Law, to buy all Israel, -2 nations- who were still only inheriting part of Abraham's testament through fleshly lineages.) THAT WE MIGHT RECEIVE THE ADOPTION OF SONS". (Or to choose and have desire to give these children another chance, not only through right of birth, but by a course of conduct of these children and the approval of God the Father. He who can only accept mankind in the final analyses in spirit, because his heavenly family are "all" spirit). Many Bible students don't accept we are 2 persons in one person, and we must fulfil 2 roads, with the flesh always predominant in our walk-through life. Other Bible students talk in terms of this spirit -which they call soul- goes to heaven when we die. Well! The latter is certainly confusion, Galatians 5:17,18 tells us; "FOR THE FLESH (law) LUSTETH AGAINST THE SPIRIT. (Or- a longing desire of the flesh to know, see, and feel what the other half of us is really like. The flesh however constantly likes to govern that spirit). AND THE SPIRIT AGAINST THE FLESH; (The longing and desire of the spirit wants to be set free from the flesh, and longs to use its tremendous powers, that can overturn earthly laws). AND THESE ARE CONTRARY THE ONE TO THE OTHER; (Or- the opposite to one another, each with very different qualities. It's an antagonism of character within us). SO THAT YE CANNOT DO THE THINGS THAT YE WOULD". (For instance, the spirit being full of the joy of God wants to run into the street and shout, I am a stranger here in the earth and want nothing of the flesh only God. The flesh will recoil and say: "don't be silly you can't do that other people will think you are nuts")!
Verse 18:- "BUT IF YE BE LED BY THE SPIRIT, YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW". Or if one is "led" by the inner-person one is shown the way to better things, it is a continual calling or drawing along by God through Christ. (Who are both Spirit); We are then not tempted by the law of the flesh. This is a very, very, hard thing to achieve throughout one's life, but we can only try!

Galatians endorses for us also, "that there are 2 COVENANTS", -one of flesh (law) who we see in Abraham's children of the Jew. Whose righteous seed is called Jerusalem. The second covenant one of spirit- (another law) of Abraham's children in the Gentiles through Christ, whose righteous seed is called Zion. It all seems to be very involved, but it is not really if one can empty one's mind of past wrong teachings, then simplicity enters and the art of just "knowing" instead of learning, is all yours!

Let us quickly touch on the "soul going to heaven when one dies", as a fallacy! By all means believe we have a spirit -or- soul within us, but we cannot possibly send it to heaven when the body dies. The earth was given to man only, the achievement of the heavens is something we have to work for and earn, and even then, it's up to the Grace of God if we receive it. We cannot enter heaven until Jesus returns, and the judgement is complete, and all things of the words of God ever spoken for our learning are fulfilled. Then we are changed and become "One" with God. Have you never read and digested the verse, which says: John 3:13; "AND NO MAN HATH ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN, BUT HE THAT CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, EVEN THE SON OF MAN (Jesus) WHICH IS IN HEAVEN". This is a very large subject to explain, because first one must understand the various "alterations" pertaining to death itself. So, let us leave this subject right here for the moment, until Daniel's chapter 11 is finished, and we can then go into this problem again!

We must now go back to Daniel 11:30 and read who "FORSOOK" the Holy COVENANT made between God and Abraham.

Galatians 3:14-24 tells us how Abraham's "blessing" came to the Gentiles, and how that "PROMISE" through the covenant cannot be disannulled, because his children "have to" inherit! But one can only understand these complexities by understanding the law of flesh, and the law of spirit through God's words in the Holy Bible, because this Book is our schoolmaster and our Comforter!

It is the 12 tribes of Israel who "FORSOOK" that COVENANT throughout their generations, which was "established" between God and Abraham, and "confirmed" by Jesus. We find this "FORSAKING" explained in Judges 2:1-23:
Verse 13; "AND THEY "FORSOOK" THE LORD, AND SERVED BAAL AND ASHTAROTH". (Baal, -or- the idols of the other nations, in ancient times such as Tyre, Phoenicia, Palmyra, etc: Ashtoreth- being the plural form of idolatrous figures of the Phoenician, Ammorite, or Canaanite goddess. Who they would serve again, and again, throughout future generations as Astarte of the Greeks, Venus of the Romans and Persians. In modern times those same people of Israelites give that title of "Queen of heaven, to poor misused Mary, the mother of Jesus. They bow down to Mary in all her guises of idols and as the mother of God. When to be the mother of God who is a Majestic Spirit, is an impossible feat for her)!

Again, we read the punishment of all Israel in 1 Kings chapter 9, which says, that if these people didn't keep God's commandments, they would be a "proverb" and a "by word" amongst all peoples: (Or- an observation as to "where is Israel now"? It's a reproach of dark sayings, that from then onwards into history Israel have been cast off by God).

In Deuteronomy chapter 29, it tells us what shall become of Israel's children. Those that stood before Moses at the time, and those yet to come in their generations, because they "FORSOOK" the COVENANT. With these "secret understandings" of all these things are to be revealed to all the people of every generation forever! So, reader, take note of those "secret" lineages of Israel's princes inheriting promises which are in the British Gentiles, and of the Jew, -(Israel/Judah). In this day and age we can read of those secrets being fulfilled in Deuteronomy chapters 32 and 33 and Daniel's prophecies; Which understanding our people must consider even to the latter days towards the coming years into 2,000 AD. Deuteronomy 32:29; "O THAT THEY WERE WISE, THAT THEY UNDERSTOOD THIS, THAT THEY WOULD CONSIDER THEIR LATTER END".

There are many, many, verses to put one on the path to learn who "FORSOOK" the HOLY COVENANT. The magnificent poignant chapter in Isaiah 62, in which it tells of the restoration of Israel's righteous seed, (Zion of the House of Israel, and Jerusalem of the House of Judah). Who will go forth in righteousness and brightness, when the Gentiles will see them, and no more will they be termed "Forsaken". Jeremiah the prophet so many times laments these 2 nations of Israel, because they "FORSOOK" God. Jeremiah 5:19; "AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, WHEN YE SHALL SAY, WHEREFORE DOTH THE LORD OUR GOD ALL THESE THINGS UNTO US? THEN SHALT THOU ANSWER THEM, LIKE AS YE HAVE FORSAKEN ME, AND SERVED STRANGE GODS IN YOUR LAND, SO SHALL YE SERVE STRANGERS IN THE LAND WHICH IS NOT YOURS". Indeed, both nations of Israel became servants to other gods into every country they were driven throughout the centuries, when they became Romans, Greeks, Persians, Assyrian- Babylonians. They became in their latter history, Celts, Vikings, Germanic, peoples, etc. Today, they are still bogged down in other people's religious vanities, materialistic, pleasure seeking, corrupt, with vile ways of living. They allow great sins to go on under the guise of the word Democracy. They bleat as sheep, mouthing words of "I have the right to be "free", -or- do my own thing whether for good or evil"! Israel's stench still reaches to the high heavens, and because these peoples have "FORSAKEN" the ways of the "TRUE God" and have "done that which is right in their own eyes", we have chaos on our hands for a neighbour!

Today, around the year 2,000 AD when destruction and agony of all peoples is seen on the horizon. From out of Jeremiah chapter 6 the lament is heard that there is no delight in all Israel for the word of God. The alarm of war in the trumpets of nations has been sounding for a long time now, but Israel hides heads in earthly pleasures or pretend it will not come near them! How many of you who read this book for the sake of Israel, will seek the "old paths" of the "COVENANT"? How many of you will hear words of "warning" from some of the righteous seed, who are "WATCHMEN" for the times we live in? How many of you will seek your God properly? -The Holy One of Israel is His Name!-

Remember the words of Jeremiah 8:11 - "FOR THEY HAVE HEALED THE HURT OF THE DAUGHTER OF MY PEOPLE SLIGHTLY (The daughter of Zion and Jerusalem) SAYING, PEACE, PEACE WHEN THERE IS NO PEACE". Don't be fooled by what mankind says which lulls you to sleep or calms your questioning nerves with their pleasant words!
