Verse 24:- "HE SHALL ENTER PEACEABLY EVEN UPON THE FATTEST PLACES OF THE PROVINCE; AND HE SHALL DO THAT WHICH HIS FATHERS HAVE NOT DONE, NOR HIS FATHER'S FATHERS; HE SHALL SCATTER AMONG THEM THE PREY, AND SPOIL, AND RICHES; YEA AND HE SHALL FORECAST HIS DEVICES AGAINST THE STRONGHOLDS, EVEN FOR A TIME". The "He" of this verse is still dealing with Roman power of the Church and we are still unravelling the story of the Roman bishop, Pope Gregory, and his representatives. The shift of temporal and spiritual power is in the hands of the "HE" who has modelled itself on Imperial Rome, who is now standing on the world stage, taking into his own hands the power for the masses of peoples. Through its "DECEIT" spoken in verse 23 of appealing to man's hopeful heavenly abode!

The lowly man of these times had nothing to look forward to perhaps, other than the joy of a better place with God when he was dead. What better way to make sure that it would happen, through a man who says He represents God on earth that can "guide" him into that heavenly kingdom? So, spiritually ignorant men, whether low or high born fell like ninepins under the Roans persuasive words. Who was speaking "Great Things" and "who's look was more obvious, persuasive and popular than those around him", in those perilous times.

These persuasive words are what Daniel had already explained to us reader, in chapter 7-verse 20. When he told us of that powerful "Horn" that "CAME UP" amongst the 10 Horned province of Roman Britain.

We have already seen in Daniel 11:23 that Augustine with his band -or "A SMALL PEOPLE"- entered this once Roman province, under the protection of a "LEAGUE" between Pope Gregory and Queen Bertha of Kent, assuring his "PEACEABLE" entry. Which the first line of Daniel chapter 11 verse 24 states. "HE SHALL ENTER PEACEABLY EVEN UPON THE FATTEST PLACES OF THE PROVINCE".

It is said, that when those men from Rome landed from their boats on to the shore of Thanet at Kent, Queen Bertha's husband King Ethelbert met them in the open air, as protection from magical devices. The Roman missionaries approached the King chanting litanies and carrying a silver cross, with an image of the Lord painted on a wooden board.

Those same missionaries were to build their first monastery later, to be known as St. Augustines. Their "PEACEABLE" entry now assured!

We will next note that Daniel's verse says, "FATTEST PLACES". So, we are faced with plural acceptances on a PEACEABLE scale.

Kent was the first "FATTEST PLACE" for acceptance, we then have Northumbria, - further to the north of England.- Another fat or wealthy cultivated province of Britain, and it was between these 2 kingdoms, Rome's Papacy was to be established. Among Augustine's band of monks was Paulinus, whose nature was akin to Augustine, arrogant and weak.

Augustine had come from the aristocracy of Rome, -who later became a prior of a Benedictine monastery in Rome,- and it seems never lost that air of being from the upper class.

When Augustine and Paulinus, arrived with the other monks, who landed in Kent 597 AD they said, they had found the province was largely pagan worshippers of the Woden gods.

The real British Christians however had hidden in the mountains of the North and West within Wales. This happened following the 6th century invasions of the Anglo Saxons, who had almost devastated these ancient British people.

Pope Gregory representing "Rome" had given Augustine letters of commendation for his excursion into the "Isles", and after Augustine was well received in peace by King Ethelbert, he became bishop of the English by 598 AD.

In 601 AD more missionaries were now arriving on those British shores including Mellitus, Justus, and the same Paulinus we spoke of earlier, who had returned to Rome and had now brought back with him the "pallium", -or- symbol of jurisdiction for Kent. Before Mellitus had departed from Rome to Britain, Pope Gregory advised him that the pagan temples of the Saxons should not be broken down but sprinkled with holy water and altars to be set up with relics enclosed. Only their pagan idols were to be broken up. The practice of sacrificing many oxen to devils should be instead killed for food, and replacing this practise with a Christian solemnity, that of a Festival of the Holy Martyrs. This historical data supplied by the monk Venerable Bede, is really not the unbiased history of mankind as one might think. But rather it is the history of the Roman church in England, seen through the eyes of Roman monks' idea of God and other types of men. This ancient story is a warped idea of true Christianity, it is telling us that the pagan temples of Woden, were replaced by the pagan orientated type of Christianity that is called Roman.

So, the missionaries purified pagan temples, and consecrated another 12 bishops, who were given authority over the other bishops of Britain.

Paulinus meanwhile was appointed missionary to Northumbria in the North of England and became the first bishop of York. He was made bishop whilst in Kent in 625 AD, when he escorted the princess of Kent, daughter of King Ethelbert, to Northumbria to marry King Edwin. In 627 AD Paulinus baptised Edwin, but soon, both princess and priest fled back to Kent for protection when King Edwin was killed later by 2 other Anglo Saxon Kings.

Paulinus was eventually to become Archbishop of Rochester in 634 AD receiving from Pope Honorius I the "pallium", (his symbol of jurisdiction). It was York that was important to Imperial Rome, because once more the city of York was to become the centre of the cementing of Roman power. That power was once held by the legions of Imperial soldiers. Now York was taken in "PEACEABLE" Roman ways of ruling. We have seen how "He" of the -Roman Papacy, entered the Isles, "PEACEABLY upon 2 of the FATTEST PLACES", of this British "PROVINCE". That of Kent and Northumbria as Daniel explains in Daniel 11:24.

We come now to the next line; "HE" SHALL DO THAT WHICH HIS FATHERS HAVE NOT DONE, NOR HIS FATHERS; HE SHALL SCATTER AMONG THEM THE PREY, AND SPOIL, AND RICHES"; The first part of this phrase is quite straight forward knowing that "He" the Papacy of (Augustine-Paulinus) Rome, has come back to the "Isles" once more. But this time not with the trampling feet of the mighty legions of soldiers with Generals such as Agricola to subdue and destroy a people; Nor yet! Give a living to would be Emperors such as Constantine or his father, who would go back to Rome to fight and triumph. Rome now is represented by men who have taken off those early types of implements of war, and have donned robes of cloth, whose iron teeth and claws nevertheless were to sink deep into a man's heart and soul they grow stronger and FATTER as the years rolled by. These "new" conquering Roman men Gregory, Augustine, Paulinus, Mellitus, Justus, etc. have all entered the Isles through the doorway of the Roman church. Most of these men coming from the aristocracy of the ruling classes of the civil service, whose FATHERS, and GRANDFATHERS held positions under the emperors and rulers of Imperial Rome. As civil administrators, senators, generals, patricians, etc. Those old ancestors of these now ruling men of Rome, would have gone into the "Isles" to take wealth away, to take many slaves, to plunder, destroy and take that land as their own. That same land had been earmarked as Roman Britain for 400 years, and the mixture of peoples within and their property were earmarked as belonging to Rome. Rome's iron fist struck down all who laid claim to Roman lands and peoples, until "he" himself was sacked in 410 AD. Indeed, Daniel's words in verse 24 ring so very true in the annals of history. These new Roman Christian men now conquering the "Isles", were unlike the 400 years of Roman Generals and soldiers with sword in hand who were their FATHERS and GRANDFATHERS. Their FATHER'S gods were of Apollo, Jupiter, Mithras, Sol, etc. whose allegiance was given to the divinity of Emperors.

Let us go now to the second part of this sentence, which is a complicated one. "HE" SHALL SCATTER AMONG THEM THE PREY, AND SPOIL, AND RICHES". We will have to unlock the wider meanings now to these words to give us a deeper concept to what Daniel is predicting. "Scatter" means to:- disperse, to spread, to throw loosely about; to separate and remove to a distance from each other, to disunite, to frustrate, disappoint and overthrow. "Prey" means to:- plunder, property taken away from an enemy in war, and what is entirely at one's mercy, it's the victim of living creatures seized, it is that which is seized by a carnivorous animal who feeds off the flesh of other animals. Let us pause here and fit these explanations into the picture of the now spreading Roman church in the "Isles". The Roman bishops spread out and scattered and strewed themselves amongst the English. Because the following 90 years from Augustine's landing with his 40 monks, all the Saxon kingdoms of England had gradually accepted the Roman faith.

The British Christian Celts which were now counted in Wales, had refused Rome's customs and Augustines uniformity of the church. Indeed, the Roman church now spread "scattered" and dispersed itself throughout the length and breadth of the land. The "prey" of the Roman church was upon the peoples of British, Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Picts, Scots, or whoever was mixed into this whole people's Carcase within the "Isles". This "beast" of Rome whose carnivorous appetite consumed all before it, in its many disguises of robes throughout history. Whether Imperial Rome, Republic of Rome, or the Roman Papacy, it lived and fed off its "prey" of other nations, not being content until all the world was Roman. They were grossly feeding for centuries off other people's land, wealth, slaves of body, and now souls!

Let us go back to verse 24 and the words:- "SPOIL" and "RICHES". -"SPOIL", means to plunder and obtain booty of treasures. It's the act of one who plunders and pillages, as in war. It's to strip by violence, to render useless, to destroy, injure, and to ruin. "RICHES" means, that which makes something rich, of extensive possessions, wealth, opulence, and affluence.

The words "PREY" and "SPOIL" on the face of it, do not seem to be the correct words to use, in this context. When these men as Daniel says, came into the Isles "PEACEABLY", and not with a sword in the hand.

We must continually bear in mind Daniel is concerned first and foremost with the Children of Israel, and what befell them under the nations of the Gentiles! Rome struck down the Messiah of Israel who was the "doorway" of hope for these peoples. Daniel's prophecies tell of their struggles for survival in secular terms, also more concerned with their spiritual roll within the nations of the earth.

The sword of other nations struck down the children of Israel in the flesh and caused their spirit to look for gods of wood, and stone, which the curse given by Moses tells us. But here it seems, with the Gentile nation of the Romans things have changed, and they bring them Christianity!

Don't be fooled reader!

Rome has taken its "war" right into the heart and soul of human beings. It has become an enemy not easily seen, because it manipulates Israel's "hope" of the true Christ into a bludgeoning weapon, and they are the "PREY" for to "SPOIL" them. The peaceful words pouring out of Rome's dragon mouth are piercing swords of another kind, they cleave asunder body from the soul, they taint, plunder, usurp, and ruin truth. Thereby chaining a man for life; they at the mercy of high-sounding words and phrases of power!

Rome's Words "SPEAKING GREAT THINGS", which Daniel prophesies chapter 7 verse 8. The craft of the Roman abomination spoken in PEACE shall destroy many in that war for the spirit, which Daniel 8:25 tells one.

The only material "SPOILS" of war these Roman men could take was the existing temples of the Saxons. Which we have already seen that they had cleansed, sprinkled with so called holy water. These Roman conquerors of bishops and monks were not taking "SPOILS" of war away but rather the opposite. They were in the "Isles" to stay, cementing that power and hold over the peoples with "RICHES". -History records their Roman RICHES and the overspreading of this abomination of Rome.- Augustine founded Christ's church at Canterbury, which was his cathedral. Then founded the monastery of St. Peter and St. Paul, which became a very important house indeed. Thus, Canterbury became the seat of the Roman "see" of England thereafter. The Abbot Mellitus became the bishop of London, and Justus established as the bishop of Rochester.

In 630 AD Archbishop Honorius of Canterbury, sent a bishop called Felix out to convert the east Anglians, Birinus of Rome converted the West Saxons. In 687 AD Sussex and the Isle of Wight, were converted by bishop Wilfred, Benedict and Coelfrith who founded monasteries in Wearmouth and Jarrow, thus assembling a fine library of books from the continent at Jarrow. That name Jarrow, recalling the historian and monk the Venerable Bede (672-735), whose work gave us an insight into early history. There were fine monasteries and houses built in Lindisfarne, Whitby, Ripon, London and East Anglia, etc. Great stone churches were built with classical influences of Rome and the continent of Europe. Stone monuments and sculpture proliferated here and there. By 669 AD Theodore of Tarsus arrived and became first Archbishop over "all" England. The church "in" England had now conformed to Roman practises by 663 AD. Rome's "RICHES" were scattered throughout England, especially from the time of Theodore in 669. Then Venerable Bede wrote of Theodore in England as the "golden age".

In 664 a plague in England had devastated the Roman clergy, including the Archbishop of Canterbury, so a new man was chosen by the then Pope Vitalian, and his name was Theodore. He was an Asiatic Greek born at Tarsus. He reached England in 669 AD and held the position of archbishop of Canterbury for 21 years. Leaving no stone unturned as it were, he was to build and establish schools, dioceses, and hold regular synod conferences making Rome's hold on England become increasingly strong, as the centuries past. These "RICH" churches were built of great grandeur, within whose walls were copies of the Gospels written in letters of gold on purple parchment, sometimes kept in a gold case set with precious gems. The love of "RICHES" displayed by the Roman bishops within their churches and monasteries sometimes made them enemies. The kings rewarded his followers with grants of land. To the church their need was to receive land as a permanent endowment, which became free from royal dues and did not revert back to the king. So, it remained the churches possessions, and a foundation to their "RICHES" thereafter. From the 7th century such land for the church was sometimes decreed through charter. After many trips to Rome these various bishops brought back their "RICHES", and throughout their grand buildings they did what Daniel prophesied they "SCATTERED", strewed, and furnished them, with numerous relics. From the very beginning the monastic churches were adorned as gorgeously as possible to inspire devotion and holiness. The churches were furnished in fine art, gold crosses, statues, candlesticks, which were brought from Italy. There were manuscripts and many precious objects, church vessels vestments, letters of privilege, paintings, and many books and musical instruments with art and poetry flourishing everywhere. These things were "SPOILS" of war, softening up the people who were the "PREY". We go back now to Daniel's verse 24 and the last sentence. "YEA AND "HE" SHALL FORECAST HIS DEVICES AGAINST THE STRONGHOLDS EVEN FOR A TIME". The "He" is still speaking of Rome and the Papacy. When the prediction opens with "yea", it means, yes indeed, or not this alone, not only so but "also" to this. So, this sentence is saying to you reader, that apart from Rome entering the "Isles" "PEACEABLY", SCATTERING its Roman men throughout England. Then plundering men's bodies and souls, then building up its RICHES everywhere, it was also doing something else. That "something else" was Rome attacking the ancient Celtic British church, and its followers. Who had now fallen back into the mountains of Wales, with a pocket of its people in Cornwall and the north of England. The Anglo-Saxon invasions of earlier years had done them much harm.

When one "FORECASTS" something, it is to estimate in advance, to scheme beforehand or guess and estimate what will happen, and to provide against something. Indeed, Rome provided for itself and its church a "scheme" so powerful that it makes Daniel call this, "HIS DEVICES". That "DEVICE" is something that is formed or invented, it is a contrivance, an emblem or figure to distinguish an individual or party. Amongst Rome's many "DEVICES" that distinguishes the Roman church from others, is the strong fact that it says; It alone has the "2 keys of St. Peter" in the earth and in heaven, therefore, has the authority to open or close the gates of heaven to whomsoever it chooses. Because it stands in St. Peters shoes. That same "DEVICE" - or schemed contrivance still rears its head to this day in our modern world, towards the standing of Rome in the earth and the heavens. It is a "Device" or role, and a cloak that the Roman Papacy has wrapped tightly around its body, so no one sees the rags of untruth underneath its skirts! It has been a "DEVICE" or cloak, hard to take off in men's minds, whether ancient or modern man, so well had it been held in place! Constantine's rules set down in the Nicene Creed etc. provided words against or "FORECAST", to any other church taking Rome's place. It amalgamated church and state into a power block both East, and West. Its "FORECAST" to the peoples, it spoke great things from the mouth of God upon earth, as "His" Vicar. It "predicted" its own destiny into the centuries ahead. This "DEVICE" becomes "many" as verse 24 indicates. St. Peter's role, they say was given to the "Him" of Roman Papacy by Jesus the Christ, therefore making Rome put on the garments of the "Vicar of Christ"; So, this "Him" is a voice to be reckoned with, with these "plural devices". Daniel says, his "DEVICES" were to be used "AGAINST THE STRONGHOLDS". When one is "AGAINST" something, one is in opposition to, or contrary to, or in expectation of. The "STRONGHOLDS" mean it is a place of security, of fastness and strength, a fortified place. The "STRONGHOLDS" or place of SECURITY in the "Isles", was always the mountainous land of Wales and Scotland. It was to these mountains that some of the ancient Britons fled, when Rome's marching legions pushed the peoples into the north and West. Some of the British tribes who were already living in these mountains at the time of the Roman conquest, simply melted away within this mountainous terrain, from those well drilled legions. Before and during Imperial Roman times, the British Isles was divided into many Kingdoms, they then became 10 Kingdoms, or "STRONGHOLDS" when the Romans and Danes etc. governed. Each "STRONGHOLD" has its own prince to rule. The story of some of these "STRONGHOLDS" we have already read of in previous chapters; Namely, Daniel 11/Verse 17 with Queen Boadicea of the Iceni "STRONGHOLD". Daniel 11/Verse 23, Augustine meeting King Ethelbert of Kent, or King Edwin of Northumbria etc. Each "STRONGHOLD", Rome gradually encroached upon and took over its people once more.

Again, when the Angles, Saxons, and Danes etc. struck deep into England destroying all before them, the ancient Britons fled into that "STRONGHOLD" of the Welsh mountains, and for a time were able to lick their wounds unmolested. Wales was a great "place of security", for the poor bedraggled people left over from the ravages of those times and its history.

The mountains closed in on those people and centuries of the languishing of time, gave them all a sense of kinfolk to one another, emerging eventually much more spiritually minded than the rest of the British Isles. They were poor in material goods but rich in spiritual wealth, and they had become different in their customs, attitudes, and manner. The English thought of the Welsh as naive, and uncultured in the ways of the world.

In fact, in modern times so much did the mountainous "STRONGHOLDS" hide God's judgements and another type of Christianity, Changing those people in a simplistic manner. That at one time an English music hall comedian "joked" that the Welsh even in the 20th century did not know the Romans had gone! The Normans entering the "Isles" tried to overcome the Welsh, by building numerous castles great houses, and monasteries, which carved up the countryside in a divide and conqueror fashion.

The book of Revelation chapter 12 calls that wild mountainous place of the British Isles, the Wilderness, and a place prepared of God. Where they, a simple church could be fed there. "She", being the "daughter of Zion" who is Christ's "real children". Let us look more closely at Daniel's prophecy during the time of Augustine and on into the centuries of that early history.

The Celtic church in previous years of its history, had contact with the early Christians of Rome and its bishop. But had lost that contact as the years of their tragedies of occupation rolled on. Though it was certainly a different Roman Church connection then, than the church of Pope Gregory and Augustine's time in the 6th century! Many of the dates of Celtic and Roman feast days were different, Easter, and Lent for example were celebrated at different times. The Celtic church also differed from Roman practices by its asceticism, fervour, with its simplicity, and its lasting influence on scholarship. It was a much looser system than the Roman. Its bishops and preachers moving freely amongst the people, with no fixed boundaries to their bishoprics, as was the custom of the Romans. It was in the world of scholarship that Celts and Romans met; Englishmen also studied at the Celtic missions, and amongst the things they learned was the Celtic art of ornate and artificial style of writing, used later by Latin authors.

I think it is wise if we should glean as much information as possible re: this early period of history. Because it is out of these early British people, and with them, that the covenant of God was held in secret.

Daniel takes great pains throughout his predictions to constantly bring the covenanted people to the "for" so no man can ask the question. Ah! But what became of the righteous seed of the covenant people?

If reader one turns to the chapter written on Revelation chapter 12 there is explained what happened to the Covenant children of Israel. Also let us read a quick excerpt from Churchill's book, "The English-Speaking Peoples", -who gives us the story of one of Rome's "DEVICES" which was used to good affect against the "STRONGHOLDS" of the Celtic church. "BUT THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE PRACTICES OF THE ROMAN AND CELTIC CHURCHES REMAINED UNTIL THE SYNOD OF WHITBY IN 663, PRESIDED OVER BY KING OSWY OF NORTHUMBRIA, WHO CAST THE DECISIVE VOTE IN FAVOUR OF ROME. BEDE DESCRIBES THE CLOSING STAGES OF THE DEBATE BETWEEN WILFRID (for Rome and St. Peter) AND COLMAN (for Iona and St. Columba) IN LIVELY STYLE. AND WHEN WILFRID HAD CONCLUDED THUS, THE KING SAID; "IS IT TRUE, COLMAN, THAT THESE WORDS WERE SPOKEN TO PETER BY OUR LORD?" HE SAID; "IT IS TRUE, KING," AND HE SAID; "CAN YOU SHOW ANY SUCH POWER GIVEN TO YOUR COLUMBA?" AND HE SAID;" NONE." THEN THE KING SPOKE AGAIN. "DO YOU BOTH AGREE IN THIS WITHOUT ANY CONTROVERSY, THAT THESE WORDS WERE SPOKEN PRINCIPALLY TO PETER AND THAT THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN WERE GIVEN TO HIM BY THE LORD?" THEY BOTH REPLIED; "YES" AND THUS HE CONCLUDED; "AND I SAY TO YOU THAT HE IS THE DOORKEEPER, AND I WILL NOT OPPOSE HIM; BUT, AS FAR AS I KNOW AND AM ABLE, I WISH TO OBEY HIS DECREES IN ALL THINGS; LEST PERCHANCE, WHEN I COME TO THE GATES OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, THERE SHOULD BE NONE TO UNLOCK THEM, HE BEING MY ENEMY WHO IS PROVED TO HOLD THE KEYS".

WHEN THE KING GAVE THESE WORDS, THOSE WHO WERE SITTING OR STANDING ROUND, BOTH GREAT AND SMALL, GAVE THEIR ASSENT, AND RENOUNCING THE LESS PERFECT INSTITUTION, HASTENED TO CONFORM TO THAT WHICH THEY HAD FOUND TO BE BETTER. THE SYMPATHY AND CO-OPERATION BETWEEN THE CREEDS WHICH HAD CHARACTERISED THE MISSIONARY WORK AMONG THE ENGLISH DID NOT END WITH THE DECISION OF THE SYNOD OF WHITBY; THE FOLLOWERS OF BISHOP COLMAN WHO ABANDONED LINCTISFARNE AND WENT TO IRELAND RATHER THAN CONFORM WITH ROME INCLUDED ENGLISHMEN AS WELL AS IRISHMEN. THE CHURCH IN ENGLAND, THEN, WOULD CONFORM TO ROMAN PRACTISE AFTER 663 AD".

This exert from secular history and one of these Roman "DEVICES", using the words of our Lord, and St. Peter as holding the keys of heaven, is not at question here. It is the Roman church taking that "DEVICE" of St. Peter and using it as a sword applicable to their church, giving their church sovereignty, which is at question? Saint Peter was bound with ropes as a prisoner in body and spirit using him as a foundation stone by them, as a captive "DEVICE", as our Lord said Peter would be, in John 21:18.

Rome had "DEVICES", -or- invented contrivances from the Emperor Constantine's time. The hierarchy of men built up to promote the Roman church and its mysterious ways, proclaimed all sorts of invented "DEVICES" to ensure the people were kept in constant need for that church.

The "DEVICE" of Indulgences (or- remission of temporal punishment) was used. The "DEVICES" of Invocations - "and Litanies",- Feast days, and fast days and stations of the cross. The "DEVICE" for confession of sins, daily devotions, Benediction, infant baptism, rosary beads. Certain prayers for England, upon a crucifix, prayers for Our Lady Mary, prayers for the souls of the dead. etc. There were "DEVICES" for the outward show of holiness. With RICHES of flowing robes of different colours, gold rings and crosses to prove to the masses, who and what, these men were in the scheme of things. "DEVICES" of idols, wooden crosses held in the hand, or hung from the neck or waist, used to communicate with peoples of many races. The Roman churches had deceitful "DEVICES" invented to fool the people over the centuries, of so-called holy relics. Here and there a vial holding a drop of water, purported to be the tear from Mary's face at the death of her son on the cross. Bottles of so-called holy water blessed by a man, the Pope. A vial of blood purported to be the blood of Christ, when history tells it was pig's blood. There were many bones of Saint Peter as a holy relic in many churches throughout Europe during the Middle Ages. It was said, that; if all these so-called bones of Saint Peter were put together, he should have been 25 feet tall. That same church in modern times also looked for the bones of Saint Peter under the high alter of Saint Peters church in Rome. That being the case which is truth? So many "DEVICES" or "invented contrivances", were set in motion over the centuries to bring the spiritual man or woman to heel. All these things became normally habitual in daily life as the sun rising and setting each day, and Rome's "DEVICES" were hardly questioned.

History and archaeology might not be able to give answers to, "where and how" the Lord's church first entered Britain, but the Bible can in its "hidden" history. We can read it in many verses on the subject not only in Daniel and Revelations, but other prophets. The "holy seed" of the Gentile woman of the House of Israel,-her real name is the "daughter of Zion"- was "within" the old British church. It was not contained in "all" the church, but children within it. Just as today's churches also find themselves with the "holy seed" within, many of them even in the Roman church.

So, within the "FLOOD" of Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Franks, etc. were also Israel's children. But they had become barbaric strangers to the "hope of Israel" at that time zone of history. Most all Israel was to fall once more spiritually, this time under the Roman Papacy. Thus, leaving the "truth" unaccounted for with the holy seed within the peoples in the mountains of Wales, and Scotland. They, languishing into centuries ahead in time, until the music of truth is played one day, for them to awaken to a new dawn!

We will go back now to Daniel's verse 24 and the last words, "EVEN FOR A TIME". "What", we may ask is meant by "EVEN FOR A TIME"? The "TIME" factor starts from the words "YEA, AND HE SHALL FORECAST HIS "DEVICES" AGAINST THE STRONGHOLDS". -So, what we have reader is this Roman form of Christianity will not conquer all the "STRONGHOLDS" using the British form of Christianity at first. But will eventually overcome many of them through the years. -Or for a "TIME"- many will be swayed and will fall under the Romans also because of the DEVICES of Rome will use. The period of these years is called a "TIME", and this "TIME" is counted as 360 years. This "TIME" period is acknowledged as 360 years in other prophecies. Namely, Daniel 7-25. "AND HE (Rome) SHALL SPEAK GREAT WORDS AGAINST THE MOST HIGH, (It is against God, because Rome's words they say, are "Infallible" through its Pope, standing in Saint Peter's shoes, thereby pronouncing words as if he is God the Holy Father).AND SHALL WEAR OUT THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH.(Rome always calling upon St. Peter, St. Paul, Mary, etc. in their mode of rulership). AND THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS. (They brought in the various changes of the calendar, Julian, and Gregorian; They, formed Easter and Christmas, also the seasons for planting and sowing, workdays and Sabbaths, etc. With their laws for mankind taking care of his body and soul, from the birth to the grave). AND THEY (Israel) SHALL BE GIVEN INTO HIS (Rome's) HAND UNTIL A TIME AND TIMES AND THE DIVIDING OF TIME".

Or 3 and a half times of years. If we go to Revelation chapter 11, we see in verse 2 a period of 42 months, when the Gentiles will tread the holy city underfoot. This period is also called 3 and a half years, (or 3 and a half times).

In verse 9 of the same chapter again it is turned into 3 and a half days or years. In verse 3, the 3 and a half days, or the 42 months, is changed into 1,260 days or years. All of these TIMES amounting to the same thing, but each is changed when used in a different manner! Therefore, a "TIME" factor is 360 Years, count it reader for yourself from these references.

So, all of Daniel 11:24 which is dealing with the covenant people, will be accomplished in history. Within a "TIME" period that of 360 years, which has been concluded with many "DEVICES". Including spoil and riches used by the Roman church against the many "STRONGHOLDS". The ancient Britons, and Anglo Saxons were the prey. These peoples in the Isles will fall under Rome within the 360 years. The separation of Roman and Celtic Christianity at the synod of Whitby, came to pass. These Celtic British tribes once ruled all of England; Being mauled first by the Imperial Romans. They were almost annihilated by the Anglo-Saxons etc. who pushed what was left of them into the place that became Wales. The name Wales is derived from the Saxon word "Weales", meaning "foreigners". Which is laughable when the Saxons themselves were the foreigners, being newly established in the Isles, later than the Celts.

It is necessary reader, that we should have some form of historical knowledge of Wales. Because the history of Wales and its peoples is lacking in many nations, which I have come across in my lifetime. One can speak of Ireland, Scotland and England, and many peoples seem to know about them. But at the mention of Wales, it usually brings blank expressions from faces with the question, "where exactly is Wales?" Foremost here in these pages we are unravelling within Daniel's prophecies is, "where" the nation of the House of Israel rested and "what" Mosaic punishments they had endured in history.

The lineage of the British crown one can read in Genesis chapter 49, and Deuteronomy chapters 32 and 33. Out of these biblical and secular princes came the notorious Henry Tudor from the lineage of the Welsh, he was under the Red Dragon banner of Wales, which is the same Serpent of the emblem of Dan, of Genesis 49 verses 16 and 17. With Dan also rests the "judgement" of Israel, whether in a "fleshly role" through Henry VIII into Elizabeth I, or in a "spiritual role". That of hiding Gods covenanted true church of Christians in her mountains.

All secular history fits with scriptural history, together it works out into a whole sensible truthful picture. To understand this the reorganising of man's thinking processes has to be changed, to see and absorb this factual truth.

Because mankind has become so bogged down in man's ruling, with lies and fables for centuries, these DEVICES have warped his thinking processes. This church, or that church, makes him adhere to something that only seems right, Yet! These fables should be as foreign to him as accepting a Roman man speaking a foreign tongue. Teaching a foreign religion from a foreign set of circumstances. This was thrust upon ancient Israel according to laws by the Roman Pontiff, which foundation was laid by that "Vile Person" Constantine. Truth belongs to only One Holy Father, God Almighty. The whole thrust of Christ's mission on earth was to smash through the walls of religious trivia, of His day that the Jews had built around the truth. The path of truth had to be cleared!

Christianity trivia is no different than that of the Jews, much of the way people worship in churches is forged from the traditions of men. Many, many, people are just content to follow these traditions, and they call them worshipping God, and His Christ. They find the Bible very hard to understand so in laziness of mind or habit they put aside the Bible and feel safe in tradition instead.

In the book of Matthew chapter 15, we see those ritual traditions spoken by Jesus, from 3 verses, 3,6,9.
Verse 3:- "BUT HE ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO THEM, WHY DO YE ALSO TRANSGRESS THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD BY YOUR TRADITION"?
Verse 6:- "THUS HAVE YE MADE THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD OF NONE EFFECT BY YOUR TRADITION".
Verse 9:- "BUT IN VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME,TEACHING FOR DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN".

The Old Testament tells us the same thing in another way; When the prophet Hosea wrote about the character of the "House of Israel", and Ephraim (England) bearing rule over them in the last days. Hosea 8:11-14 gives us a picture of the traditions of men in his worship.
Verse 11:- "BECAUSE Ephraim HATH MADE MANY ALTARS TO SIN, ALTARS SHALL BE UNTO HIM TO SIN".
Verse 12:- "I HAVE WRITTEN TO HIM THE GREAT THINGS OF MY LAW BUT THEY WERE COUNTED AS A STRANGE THING". (Man has turned Gods Law upside down because of man's traditions).
Verse 14:- "FOR ISRAEL (the House of Israel in the Gentiles) HATH FORGOTTEN HIS MAKER, (they don't understand who they are, nor can they know, nor bow down to the Holy One of Israel). AND BUILDETH TEMPLES. (Or all their churches fool men but not God). AND JUDAH HATH MULTIPLIED FENCED CITIES. (Or Judah being the Jew, has protected himself with his defences in the last days). BUT I WILL SEND A FIRE UPON HIS CITIES, AND IT SHALL DEVOUR THE PALACES THEREOF".

The verses of Daniel 11:21-24, are dealing with a religious war fought between heavenly bodies, with Prince Michael protector of Israel, and Roman power who usurped heavenly bodies as their own. Thereby, destroying Israel's thinking processes for a time. Roman power is cast into the earth when Prince Michael had to stand aside and be broken. This "war" is spoken of in Revelation 12:7-9 and 17.
